Puzzling researchers for decades was the vague link found in Sukebe's notes about the Mystic evolving into the Mysticangel, and though specimens of the breed were on hand to be studied, the evolution trigger was not discovered until 81AS. Laboratory tests yielded results in the evolution of several Mystics into Mysticangels by way of a duel stone evolution; two differing elemental stones must be used (use of the same stone produces no evolution). Not only was one specific combination discovered, but like the odd Zodiac, this breed of pokegirl takes on the elements of the two stones used upon them.

Seen as the polar opposite of the Zodiac, instead of being internally static and externally variable, this breed is internally variable and externally static. This breed has very little variation in appearance, most appearing as human women with slender builds, pale skin, and large white wings. Also common to the breed is very light hair colors, usually blonds, silvers, and whites, with eyes of similar colors. On the breed's forehead a star, usually eight pointed, used to absorb lunar rays. Their wings are not dismissible, unlike other angelic appearing breeds, though some are able to hide their wings via magic.

Naturally talented at judging the strengths and weaknesses of both harem sisters and opponents, this highly variable breed is often seen in Gyms and utilized for training. Common to the breed is their serious attitude, making average members of this breed preferring to train themselves or others, or watch over their Tamers. Aside from a serious streak, this breed is variable in their personalities, and should be taken on an individual basis.

Mysticangels are fierce fighters who are very protective of their tamers, though the breed also seems to feel a need to protect magic users, particularly their unevolved forms. In battle the breed often uses Shadow Walk to launch a surprise attacks, though this is often dependent on their analysis of their opponents strengths and weaknesses. Their most powerful attack is Lunar Blade which can be used as a normal sword or fired as a blast of energy. One weakness particular to the breed is that attacks which use bright lights disorientate them for a short period, although they are unaffected by normal sunlight. Many members often learn Dark Goggles or some similar technique to counter this, so reliance on flashes of light is not recommended. Due to the breed's highly variable elemental nature, reliance on a pokedex is encouraged.

Due to the effects of absorbing and storing lunar energy, the breed also needs very little sleep, able to be fully rested with only one hour of sleep every twenty four. Food is also a low concern, though some members may eat for the enjoyment of it, when allowed to absorb the moon's rays on a nightly basis, this breed eats one tenth that a human would. It should be noted that the breed is herbivorous, meat protein tends to cause stomach cramps due to the difficulty in digestion. If not allowed their needed intake of lunar energy, the breed tends to eat more and progressively grows weaker until succumbing to a coma.

Mainly bisexual, this 'faux angel' breed shows a tendency towards lesbianism, though use of an additional pokegirl in the taming room often satisfies the breed's preferences. Like the Zodiac, this breed shows a preference for pokegirl partners in their own breed line. Other preferences are variable, though many of this breed have a libido to match their Libido.

Researchers have determined that should a Starmystic, a Zodiac and a Mysticangel all join the same harem then a psychic link is formed between them which bonds the three Pokegirls together for life. While this bond has been compared to a Delta bond since it allows them to sense each others location and emotions at all times, it actually goes much deeper since they can communicate over it telepathically. This allows all three Pokegirls to co-ordinate their attacks making them an almost unbeatable team, which most researchers believe was Sukebe's intention. They have also determined that if a tamer has a Delta Bond or later forges a Delta Bond with one of the Pokegirls then he automatically gets a Delta Bond with the other two.

Feral Mysticangels are solitary pokegirls, and tend to use their wings to fly away from fights rather to engage. If pressed or cornered into a fight, this winged breed responds with a fierce defense. Mainly nocturnal, this breed spends most of their time flying in the moonlight, and is rarely seen during the day. Interesting to this breed is that their feral state is more animalistic than other breeds that are close to human. Concerned only with flying and the occasional morsel of food, the breed only seeks shelter during inclement weather and for their one hour of needed sleep.

Threshold directly into a Mysticangel is almost unheard of. The few cases recorded have had a family history of magic type pokegirls. Itching and dull aches preclude the breed's wings growing in, while hair and eye color changes are much faster. A thresholding pokegirl's elements seem to correlate to family history.
