Skunkettes, also known as Mephitits, weren’t made for serious combat. While speedy and agile, they lacked the durability or strength to go head to head with human armies. Instead, skunkettes were used to disperse human forces and discourage pursuit while their allies retreated with the use of their powerful musk.

Skunkettes appear much like their namesake, looking like large, anthropomorphic skunks. Most are covered in black fur with a white stripe pattern down their back. Occasionally there are variations, Skunkettes with white spots down their back, Skunkettes with brown or gray fur instead of black, Skunkettes with striped legs, even completely white Skunkettes are born from time to time. Hair is usually white, but the full gamut of human hair color is available and even the odd blue and purple have been seen on this breed naturally. Skunkettes possess a fluffy and prehensile tail that reaches all the way down to their feet. Height and bust vary between the human norms, but all Skunkettes are noted as having rather large rear ends due to the four musk glands stored inside them. Domestics and threshold cases are often born with less or no fur, having only their tail and triangular ear on the top of their head to show that they’re Skunkettes.

Skunkettes are best known for their smell, a statement that doubles as a compliment and a warning. The breed is capable of producing pheremones with various effects. When horny they can create pheromones that promote lust or when trying to ease a companion they can create a calming pheromone to soothe. While their pheromones are usually used on themselves, Skunkettes are better known for the musk they create, which are often sprayed onto others. Skunkettes can store a total of four different musk at any given time. Most are poisonous with some kind of status ailment connected to the spray. The most common musk these Pokegirls use is based on that of their animal base, a powerful stench that can blind at close range and cause severe irritation to the skin on contact. Not all of their smells are offensive however, Skunkettes can replicate any smell they have experienced and often create pleasant smells that attract other pokegirls. They can even create a musk that works very similar to Lust Dust.

Skunkettes depend mainly on their various musk in battle. Each of their four musk glands can be used up to three times every twenty-four hours and are very potent. A scent launched from all four scent glands at once can be smelled up to four miles downwind of the initial spray. While most times Skunkettes will seek to spray others they can also catch their spray with their tail and use it to coat their entire body with the musk of their choice. Some Skunkettes have learned to mix two different musk together with incendiary results. This results in the powerful technique Back Burner, a green flamethrower that can also poison. When facing a Skunkette, try to stay in front of them and avoid their musk attacks. Aside from their elemental weaknesses, many flying type attacks are effective against Skunkettes as they are good for dispersing their musk. Pokegirls who can block their sense of smell have robbed a Skunkette of one of their greatest weapons. Of course a tamer must also consider the fact that pokegirls with strong senses of smell are often at the mercy of a Skunkette.

When it comes to sex battles Skunkettes are a mixed bag. On the one hand their pheromones and musk make it very easy to arouse the average pokegirl. On the other hand all Skunkette have a well known weakness in the form of a very sensitive ass. Anal, spankings, having their tail pulled gently, all are extremely arousing to Skunkettes. This makes a tamer’s job fairly easy, but also makes the job of sex battlers fairly simple as well if they can overpower the Skunkette.

Today, many Skunkettes can be seen in police departments, mainly kept on in case of riots. Their musk makes for a very easy and very effective method of crowd dispersal. Many perfumes and incense are based off of Skunkette musk and it not uncommon to see them advertising such products. Certain chemical agency are interested in their musk as well, using them to make more effective feral deterrents, feral attractors, mace, paraspray, and many other products.

Feral Skunkettes aren’t really a threat to anybody. They tend to stay to themselves, digging burrows for shelter and surviving off of various plants, nuts, berries, and small animals. They’re occasionally known to approach humans for taming in which case a tamer must be careful of her claws and enhanced strength, but this rarely results in serious injury. If they feel threatened by a human or pokegirl feral Skunkettes will turn their back and raise their tail in a sign of warning. If the person still approaches then they can expect a face full of musk before the Skunkette tries to flee

Thresholding into a Skunkette is a short process taking about two or three weeks. It starts with general skin irritation where fur will grow and some muscle pain as they develop their new strength. Then their ears will morph and their tail sprouts from their back. It ends with a numb feeling at the hips as their musk glands develop. From there, they’re either sold to ranches or given away to friends.
