After the wave of the Red Plague killed off a majority of the humans on the planet, these pokégirls began to appear. Research into exactly where and how these mysterious pokégirls were created is still being pieced together from uncovered lab information, but several of the labs have files on this ghostly pokégirl dated after the Red Plague. These files mention something about a mysterious 'Operation Cowslip' that was being initiated and the concept of this girl was to help assist in that completion of this mysterious tactical venture. It is clear, however, why this strange pokégirl was created. The Spiritit has the useful ability to help lower a pokégirl's libido, and render her less likely to go feral than others of the same host's breed. Despite the breeds quirks, this breed of pokégirl is considered an asset to any who wish to keep the more extreme libidoed pokégirls.

Spiritits normally resemble the varying looks of human women when viewed outside of a host, though each also have traits of various sexual symbols that are known in the mysticism field of dream analysis. The most common of these symbols are cats, dogs, bears, horses, serpents, cows, lions, mice, and grapes. Most often, these traits are ears and a tail, though there are known cases of full anthromorphs. In the case of the grape symbol Spritit, they often sport leafy 'hair' with bunches of grapes adorning their heads. Rarely, Spiritits can appear to be a mixture of two symbols, though those with only animalistic ears and a tail make this trait hard to notice immediately. In this ghostly form, this breed is somewhat on the short side a around 4-5 feet on average, though their bust size seems to be a rather large C cup though small As and overly busty Ds have been noted.

Spiritits produce a unique form of 'poison' which is a concoction of both a unique chemical and ectoplasmic energy that helps to lower a pokégirls libido. When possessing a pokégirl, this makes tamings more effective, and lowers the pokégirl's libido down by one level. As such this pokégirl is in very high demand from tamers with High libidoed pokégirls like the SexyCuter, though the reward for keeping that breed drops in some leagues. With her ability to use Lust Dust as well, she can also get unwilling pokégirls ready to tame, though she has to be outside of a host to use her two poison techniques. In a surprising beneficial discovery, Tamers with the Blood Curse Tamer's Disease have found that this pokégirl can suppress their need for sex and the likelihood of 'attacks'. Fortunately, laboratory studies have concluded that possession by Spiritit does not affect the likelihood of thresholding nor induce it.

Like the Haunting and Groaning, a possession 'victim' must be willing or weak enough for the Spiritit to possess them, as usually in a battle of wills the Spiritit looses, though her use of Sleep Powder can sometimes turn the tide. This ghostly pokégirl is different from her Haunting and Groaning cousins, however, as the breed does not actively take control over her hosts entire body. When possessed by a Spiritit, a host pokégirl can usually converse with her body-buddy without delving deep into her consciousness. If allowed, the Spiritit can get a chance to speak through her host, otherwise she only makes the effort to control her host's mouth in dire circumstances.

Spiritits are a somewhat voyeuristic breed of pokégirl, as they enjoy watching what happens through their hosts eyes and living life almost vicariously through the actions of her host. At times, hosts will get annoyed at this breed, as a few enjoy running commentary of what's going on, making the constant background remarks grating to the hosts' nerves. However, Spiritits are by and large friendly and easy going pokégirls, able to adapt and get along with even the most haughty dragon type host or the most sadistic of the Domina line (though the latter may be because they can't truly be physically hurt by the Dominas either). Rarely do Spiritits become Alphas or Betas, as they very much prefer taking a back seat to harem interactions, though in more aggressive members of the breed, this may include 'back seat driving'.

Because Spiritits cannot become corporal, they meet their taming needs through their host, much like Groanings. They have no real preference, though most do have a curiosity to try new things, and will often attempt to talk their hosts into going along with new experiences. Since most Spiritits are bonded to higher libido pokégirls than their natural Low libido (or the odd tamer with Tamer's Disease), they get to enjoy the experiences more often, with the added benefit of calming down their higher libidoed host.

Feral Spiritits tend to float around aimlessly, other feral pokégirls often being confused when they can see and hear this breed, but not touch them. The breed as a whole is a curious lot, and often find their way to human settlements to spy on the antics of the people and pokégirls there. Sex tends to attract them as the pheromones and energy given off by copulation is what the breed eats. This breed is attracted enough by sex to attempt a possession, which usually gets her spotted easily or in some cases allows a pet owner to capture her through his pokégirl. Usually after one is spotted, a tamer is usually brought in to catch this pokégirl by taming a pokégirl willing to let the Spiritit possess her.

Threshold directly into a Spiritit is unheard of, since despite this pokégirl having ectoplasmic versions of bodily systems, none have produced human children due to their longevity enhancement. Researchers speculate that even when these pokégirls start to become pokéwomen, they'll likely only be able to produce pokékits due to their unique taming needs and inability to become coperal. All Spiritits to date have only been able to have parthogenic births triggered by a breeding chamber, helping to increase this breed's numbers due to their demand from older tamers with higher libidoed pokégirls. As most breeders will pay handsomely for Spritit pokékits, tamers are advised that if they choose to keep their pokégirl pregnant, she will need help from another ghost type or a breed capable of touching incorporeal pokégirls at the time of birth, though it is highly recommended that she be brought to a ranch for the birthing process.
