The Womanticore has only recently become recognized as a real breed of Pokégirl, although sightings of them go back as far as 190 A.S.. It was Researcher John Pliny Sr. who first designated the Womanticore as a new type of Pokégirl, and experimentation is still being performed to discover whether they are a stand-alone breed created by Cocooner, or whether they occurred from an undiscovered method of E-Stone or E-Medal evolution.

Womanticore have slightly longer limbs than those of a human and an altered spinal structure, permitting them to easily walk on all fours or on two legs, although most prefer the former; however, when fully upright the breed will typically reach seven feet of height. Their skin is a dark warm color, typically red. They bear some resemblance to the cat-like Pokégirls, with furry ears, catlike eyes, and whiskers; some even have coats of fur the same color as their skin. However, here the resemblance ends; large black wings resembling those of a bat sprout from her back, and her tail, although otherwise feline in appearance ends in a hairy scorpion stinger.

Their mouth is filled with three rows of sharp teeth, and their hands sport wicked retractable claws; however, it is their stinger that is their primary physical weapon. It is filled with several forms of potent venom, can strike with lightning speed towards anyone in range, draining the life from whomever it impales. However, this is not its primary use; the hairs on the stinger can stand on end, becoming rock-solid needles, which the Womanticore then sends flying towards enemies with a flick of its tail with surprising accuracy. Each of these hairy needles is soaked in poison.

Womanticore are aggressive Pokégirls, although this is usually controlled enough that it doesn’t cause problems in a harem. Rather, it seems to store up, making them irritable until they can vent (a reason why Womanticore owners are more eager than most to find a Feral). They tend to be playful, although not many Pokégirls are tough enough for them to romp with. Tamers with a Womanticore are advised to seek out another powerful Pokégirl to keep them entertained, as when they become bored they can search out more destructive avenues of entertainment. Womanticore love fighting and watching others fight.

Womanticore cannot Tame on their back, due to the discomfort from the wings and their tail (which is placed slightly higher on the back than with most Pokégirls). Alternative positions will need to be found, and a restraint will be needed to prevent their tail from injuring and poisoning the Tamer. The breed enjoy being taken from behind for pure pleasure, but take a particular pleasure from being held close, and the vibrations from their purring are pleasurable enough that most Tamers find no issue with this.

Feral Womanticore are dangerous; many of the earliest discovered Womanticore were Feral, and it is from encountering these that they have become known as ‘Dreaded’. They are incredibly intelligent for Ferals, and are strong at both melee and ranged combat. They are cunning predators, and are stealthy enough to lay impressive ambushes, attacking those that appear to be the strongest first (although this often means that Magic-types are able to survive the initial onslaught).

There are no recorded Thresholds into a Womanticore.

Classified:

The Womanticore was originally created by Cocooner at the request of Sekhmet. Despite rumors to the contrary, the Womanticore was actually first seen in 201 A.S. when the ever-overprotective Sekhmet, concerned about the new visitors to the Dark Continent (these being the recently-created S-Goths starting what would eventually become Sanctuary), request that Cocooner create a new breed of Pokégirls for her private use. Cocooner stayed for a short time, but soon left after creating the breed for Sekhmet, who seems to be able to cause Lionesses to evolve into Womanticores without the use of an elemental stone.

However, Sekhmet didn’t expect Cocooner to continue with the project after creating a few Womanticores for her. Cocooner continued on to consume Lioness after Catgirl after Lioness, Feral and Tamed, leaving behind only cocoons that hatched to reveal… Catgirls and Lionesses. This incident did not go noticed because she also turned the Tamers of most of these Lionesses into Lionesses, so this was covered up by the government easily enough.

These Lionesses were capable of evolving into Womanticores, and it is estimated that at the moment approximately 57% of all Lionesses are capable of evolving into Womanticores. She was also involved in the mysterious incident of 258, it is believed that every Pokegirl in the lower regions of what is now Asia that can eventually evolve into a Lioness is capable of becoming a Womanticore, which may bump that number up to 71%.

The Leagues are currently undecided as to whether or not to reveal the method of evolution into a Womanticore.
