Upon the discovery of taming by human soldiers Sukebe went through many designs to keep his pokegirls from falling into the enemy‘s hands. One such design was tested through the Wolf Spider line. By giving this Tarantella evolution the ability to control their sensitivity, Sukebe made it almost impossible for humans to turn a Wolf Spider that didn’t want to be tamed. Luckily the breed had a flaw in their high libido, a fact that other tamed pokegirls alerted their human masters too. With this knowledge it was easy to turn Wolf Spiders by locking them up for a couple of days and taking advantage of their feral state. Today these pokegirls are used in much the same way as their Tarantella sisters, weaving products and fighting in Tamer harems, also help keep their fellow weavers and harem sisters tamed.

Tarantellas don’t change much upon evolving into Wolf Spiders. They may gain a couple of inches in height and some have been known to become a bit bustier, but this isn’t a guarantee. When they evolve Wolf Spiders lose the fang they had at the base of their back, their poison glands moving near the spinnerets in their head. They still have the ability to change their silk color, and they tend to wear their “hair” even longer now, usually just above the ground. Wolf Spiders tend to prefer more revealing close than they wore as a Tarantella, most of these outfits being woven by the Wolf Spider herself.

In terms of personality, Wolf Spiders are just as driven and competitive as they were before. The only change is that now they focus not only on their fighting and weaving, but also on their love making. As their title would suggest, Wolf Spiders are very amorous pokegirls. Even their rivalries become somewhat romantic in nature, and if they push their friends too far they’re quick to attempt to kiss and makeup. They often gift their harem sisters and tamers with outfits of their own design, a gift that many tamers appreciate as it helps spare their wallets. Their passions for singing and dancing remains, and they often try to push their less willing loved ones onto the dance floor.

When it comes to combat the biggest change in the Wolf Spiders arsenal is their chi manipulation. By pushing their chi through their silk Wolf Spiders can manipulate the strands almost like a Godiva, lashing out at and wrapping up their opponents. They can also break of these strands and fire them as stiff needles. Because their poison glands have moved to their heads, Wolf Spiders can now spread their poison through their silk strands, injecting them directly with needle spray, or letting them soak into the skin by wrapping up their target. Along with the ability to change their sensitivity to pleasure, Wolf Spiders can also make themselves more resistant to pain. But as with most pain resistant pokegirls tamers must be careful to watch them closely in battle, as they can often push themselves farther than they should in combat. Aside from playing to their elemental weaknesses when fighting against a Wolf Spider, it’s worth noting that some electric, psychic, and magic attacks can bypass the pokegirls resistance to pain.

Despite their high libido, Wolf Spiders are very easy to keep tamed when they want to be. They can match their sensitivity finish with their tamer, and if there’s only time for a quickie, they can become as easy to please as a Titmouse. While fetishes differ from girl to girl, most Wolf Spiders will show at least a passing interest in bondage, either giving or receiving. They also retain their preference for cocooning themselves with their lovers and drugging them with their poisons. Leagues that ban certain pokegirls from sex battles are likely to include the Wolf Spider among them, citing their ability to lower their sensitivity to pleasure as the reason. It is worth noting though that while dulled, they still do have that sense and a VERY persistent partner could wear them down. Much like they’re resistance to pain often can’t stand against electric, psychic or Magic attacks, they also don’t enjoy as much resistance to pleasure from electric, psychic, or magical sources. In sex battles Wolf Spiders will usually wrap their opponent up in lust poison covered strands of silk before probing them with hair tentacles.

Feral Wolf Spiders behave in much the same fashion as they did as Tarantellas. They form dens that they line with silk, and use their brightly colored silk to lure in potential meals and/or taming partners. The ability to control their “hair” gives them one new hunting tactic they can depend on if their normal lures fail them. Rather than waiting in their den some feral Wolf Spiders will seek out common gathering places for prey and camouflage themselves in a cocoon of their own silk colored to match their surroundings. When a pokegirl or person walks by the Wolf Spider will unravel her cocoon and bind her prey with it. As with the Tarantella, if a tamer is captured by a Wolf Spider the Wolf Spider will usually attempt to tame them first, an attempt that most tamers are advised to go along with. It’s usually easier to satisfy a feral Wolf Spider than a Tarantella because they subconsciously make themselves as sensitive as possible.

Threshold straight into a Wolf Spider is uncommon, most girls becoming a Tarantella first. The symptoms are very similar, the transformation starting with the loss of their hair. The pain is much more intense however, as the pokegirl will grow in her spinnerets and poison glands at the same time in her head. Most don’t even notice the development of their claws and muscle while they’re dealing with the splitting migraines. Thankfully, there are medicines that one can take to lessen the pain. Threshold into a Wolf Spider usually takes two to three weeks.
