WARNING: If discovered feral, any low to mid-grade Tamer of any league is recommended to evacuate the area immediately. Feral Wyveri, better known as Dronza, are extremely dangerous creatures that cannot be tamed unless forced back into their human forms. Attempting to capture this pokegirl while feral is ill-advised and the local league will not be responsible for losses, up to and including loss of life of tamer and harem. If found going feral, however, it is recommended that the tamer capture the pokegirl by any means necessary and to either tame her immediately or turn into local league authorities for safe-keeping and a possible reward.

It is unknown when the Wyveri breed first appeared. Reports of great dragon-like beasts in the sky date back all the way to the Revenge War, though they were sporadic at best. Most were destroyed during the war and for a while following the end of it, the breed was considered lost, although notes were discovered in Sukebe's lab, along with who knows how much more info on the various pokegirl breeds that was obtained at the same time. More unconfirmed reports of such sightings continued on for years, but it was only during Mao's Rebellion when the breed gained a new name and notoriety as one by one, several abused Dracass and Bratini evolved into what was then called the 'Dronza.' This was in 249 AS. It wasn't until 259 AS, roughly a decade later, that the breed was identified by watchers and researchers as the thought-to-be-lost Wyveri pokegirl breed that had last been confirmed seen during the Revenge War. However, an unusual discovery was made in 253 AS, when a Harpy Lady was evolved by the use of a Dragon Scale by a pokegirl researcher. Oddly, the Harpy Lady's evolution involved a process reminiscent of the known threshold stages, though in this case it is the pokegirl's feathers that molt and form the egg. The egg forms and solidifies within several hours, though unlike the threshold process, this evolution takes only 24 hours at most (with 18 hours being the average time necessary for the evolutionary process to finish).

After their evolution, the Wyveri breed typically stands nearly a foot taller than most of the Dracass breed does (bringing the Wyveri to somewhere between six and a quarter to seven feet tall), and their proportions increase in the same way. Their tail, however, becomes longer, increasing in length to being twenty-five percent longer than the pokegirl is tall (making their tails a little over 2.25 meters (7.4ft) in length, with some reaching up to 2.65 meters, or 8.75ft). The last sixth of the pokegirl's tail widens and is symmetrically barbed with sharp, needle-like protrusions that are capable of injecting poisons that are generated from within glands hidden well within the pokegirl's scaled tail. Extending from the Wyveri's back, starting at her shoulders and down along either side of her spine, a tough scaly membrane attaches to the pokegirl's arms, much like a Harpy's wings. Unlike the Harpy, however, the Wyveri retains human-like five digit hands, allowing them to manipulate tools and such just as humans can. These wings are foldable, allowing the breed to flex her arms in the normal range that humans have with their own arms. Their feet and lower legs boast heavier, more sturdy scales and claws upon the end of their digitigrade toes. With three toes in front and a two on each side of the heel of each foot, they can stand or latch onto most anything with their feet in the same way that Harpy pokegirls can, and with greater ease of balance. A Wyveri's body, which is covered in scales, are often a light green in color, though there have been a fair number that have been known with a gold or even blue coloration as well. They also have hair, though in most cases the pokegirl's hair roughly matches the color of their scales. Any hair that doesn't match is typically indicative of dye being used, or a domestic threshold case.

What is most feared about the Wyveri (more commonly known as the Dronza), however, is their capacity to transform into a full draconic form. Roughly four times longer and two and a half times taller than they were (making the breed average out at around twenty-six feet long and just over sixteen feet tall), their sheer mass, coupled with their speed and strength that grows proportionally with their increased size, makes the breed a feared sight among most any community. During Mao's Rebellion, they were often used to transport slower and non-flight capable pokegirls into a battle, and in at least one instance that was documented, a Dronza in dragon form was utilized as what could be called a 'gunboat', where pokegirls with long range techniques were able to rain their attacks down upon Tamers and their harems, all in conjunction with several of the Dronza's own attacks. Researchers have discovered a correlation between the use of the breed's draconic form and an increased need for taming, which can have adverse effects upon a schedule if not planned for ahead of time. If not planned for, or handled timely, this could result in the pokegirl going feral far more quickly than might be expected.

It has been well documented that any attack made that utilizes the Wyveri's tail can actually poison a struck target. Of note upon the tail, other than the poison glands stored there, is the fact that they can actually be cut off while in either their humanoid or draconic form. This keeps the tail from being used to add the possibility of poisoning the pokegirl's target, but does little else to disrupt the pokegirl other than making it more difficult to keep her balance and utilizing her quickturn technique, though it does not make the technique impossible to use. Thanks to the breed's advanced regenerative abilities, a lost tail (which is weakest at the midpoint), or limb for that matter, can be regrown naturally within one and a half to two and a half weeks, or via healing at a pokecenter. Though the breed is not the best choice in battle while at any great ranges, their Needle Rain (which can be utilized from the wings) and Pin Missile (from the tail) can cause havoc amongst multiple attacking pokegirls that attempt to close in. However, once faced with the prospect of fighting at mid to short ranges, the Wyveri's more fearsome capabilities become very important to keep in mind. Though Armor Draconis increases the breed's own already impressive durability by toughening up the scales upon their body, point-blank attacks that don't require the pokegirl's complete attention to use can cause disasters for anyone attacking her. Utilizing the Roar III technique, she can stun or outright off balance just about any nearby targets, and by using either Dragon Rage or Stun Venom, a cloud of damaging energy or a mist of contact poison that can stun any in range (which is typically anything around her in a 3 meter radius) can set up her target(s) for massive retaliation. As any of her techniques can be used in either her humanoid or dragon forms, this is a main reason as to why the breed is so powerful and difficult to fight against. So difficult, in fact, that some leagues have even banned the breed from being allowed to have a place within a tamer's harem.

In fact, the reason that the majority of Wyveri evolve is a result of abuse- not just from humans, but from pokegirls as well. The breed's rage against humans, and the difficulty inherent in not only subduing one and taming one, is what makes the breed difficult to utilize within a harem in general. It's highly recommended that any tamer wishing to try and keep a Wyveri have considered their harem members carefully, to ensure his or her own survival. Only strong pokegirls should be a part of any harem meant to keep a Wyveri in line, and at least two should be present during taming sessions to ensure nothing goes amiss. An unbonded Wyveri rarely follows commands, and will rarely attempt to instigate tamings unless it is summer. They are aggressive, abrasive, and confrontational. The only true exceptions to this particular rule are threshold cases and the slowly growing number of Wyveri that are evolved from the Harpy Lady breed, though most do retain an aggressive and competitive streak. That said, once a Wyveri has been alpha bonded to a tamer, their abrasive and aggressive tendencies tend to subside a bit and they will be more forthcoming with their needs for a taming. Delta bonded Wyveri, on the other hand, often become far more calm, easier to handle, and generally trustworthy, as anyone familiar with how delta bonds form might suspect to happen.

Feral Wyveri are considered more powerful than those that tamers keep within their harems, and for good reason- they remain in their dragonic forms, period. The only time that a feral Wyveri reverts back to their human form is when they are dying, which makes capturing them difficult, and taming one nigh-impossible. There have been rumors of feral Wyveri being caught and tamed, but none have been confirmed by any means, leaving such stories to eventually become myths and legends. Most recent cases of a feral Wyveri being tamed are simply exaggerated at best, and outright lies at worst (resulting in numerous tests to verify the tamer's honesty both during and afterward). Threshold cases are far more common in comparison, though still quite rare, with less than half a dozen cases ocurring world-wide every year. It should be noted that a Wyveri threshold case appears to be contingent upon two details: the first being a lineage that includes a Wyveri in the girl's ancestry, and the other being a history of abuse upon the girl during her childhood.

The first stage causes the thresholding human to ingest large quantities of food- a survival instinct that is likely the first indication of threshold, though not indicative enough as to what she is to change into. This first stage most commonly takes three to four days of nearly constant eating before they can reach the next stage of threshold. Threshold cases can be somewhat identified during the second stage, when the human changing into a Wyveri actually sheds her skin, which becomes a shell around her, basically encasing the girl inside of an egg that hardens within hours. The third stage takes an entire month to finish the process, with the egg changing in color over the course of the four weeks into the color that her scales are to become. Upon hatching, a freshly-thresholded Wyveri tends to be form an Alpha bond with her first tamer immediately. Lastly, in a number of leagues, there is a steep fine for tamers that allow a Wyveri to go feral.
