Utilized during the War of Revenge for special operations, this breed of pokegirl was usually called 'Mobile Shrapnel Units' due to their unique abilities. While close to other metamorphic pokegirl, this breed of pokegirl is very similar to the Mercury in form and function, able to mold her body into a variety of different forms. These rock type pokegirls have a clear flowing glass like form, not quite solid but not really liquid, that appears like a glass statue of the pokegirl's human form (if she ever had one), to that of a manikin style form in the shape of a woman (for ferals of the breed) with their eyes tinted a random hue. These pokegirls are unusually brittle - at first glance, almost dangerously so. Impact attacks can shatter whole parts of her body easily, and slashing moves find little trouble in causing damage to this semi-aqueous pokegirl. However, while this breed may be is easy to break, they also are easy to fix - shattered components can easily be brought back into the whole in only a few seconds time, undoing much of the damage at little cost to the pokégirl. Broken appendages are easily healed or regenerated, although reattachment is generally a better idea, as consequent lost limbs can quickly wear away at the breed, leaving them thin, weak, and in desperate need of nourishment.

Glasses have a small bit of the transformation ability in the breed's Flowing Form, allowing the pokegirl to form her body in different ways. The breed can sharpen parts of their body to a deadly thin blade, harden their bodies against attacks, and quickly recover from hits by absorbing whatever was lost.  Or even (though their form noticeably thins while doing so) form great thin glass wings with which the Glass can use to break away from land-bound foes or bombard them with shards from above. Also, they can merge or move through normal glass without any difficulty, letting them move through closed windows or some doors without notice or leaving evidence of their passage. The Glass can also set things on fire by using their body like a magnifying glass - note that the sun or a light source must be available for this to work.

The breed's unique ability to refract and reflect light that grants them their Mirage Cloak and Blurring Form attacks, also allows them to color themselves to look close to their former human forms. Thresholders of this breed pick this up easily, and domesticates show a similar inclination to learn the technique. When utilizing light this way, members of this breed look very close to human, though their 'skin' is too shiny and smooth to allow them to pass themselves off completely as human. Ferals of the breed first have to work on detailing their humanoid form, and most have trouble learning the finer nuances of this form of light refraction.

In combat, this breed either moves into melee, with fingers sharpened to a deadly point, or stays back and bombards their foe with thin shards, broken off from the pokegirl's body. Also, depending upon the environment, the breed can supplement these attacks with light-based effect moves, such as Flare, Mirage Cloak, or Blurring Form. As fighting in full darkness makes it difficult for the breed to pick up enough ambient light to utilize their light refracting abilities. In desperation, they may use Shatterstorm to escape pursuit, or strike down a particularly agile foe.

These semisolid pokegirls vary in personality, most often expressing rather fluid personalities, though some take on a more serious nature. The breed particularly enjoys that they have a firm shape no matter how much they loose control now, their bodies smooth and firm but pliable, tamers only needing lube and light restraints for taming. The breed enjoys finding new positions in which to tame, which is possibly from their metamorphic nature. Tamers should be warned not to be too rough to these pokegirls, as they do literally break easily, which makes them a poor choice for a match up for dominating pokegirls.

Glass pokewomen are very interesting to watch when carrying a human child, as the placenta and unborn infant is clearly visible, this is the only time during the life of the breed when they eat anything other than minerals, and tend to drink heavy amounts of water as well. The food is poorly absorbed by their own systems, but children have been born to Glass pokewomen for over two centuries without any indication of malnutrition.

The Glass was created to act as spies and saboteurs - the Glass’s specialty was getting inside the defensive perimeters of enemy bases, and damaging key defensive components or slaughtering enemy command posts in preparation for an offensive. Under the influence of the Mirage Cloak, it was hard to tell when this breed was around, and combined with the breed’s complete lack of a smell (or sense of smell, for that matter), security dogs (or later, other pokégirls) rarely took notice of them. If caught, these rock types could easily hold their own, their attacks, though weak against heavy armors, were all too adept at taking down groups of enemy infantry or officers in a short period of time. Earning the breed the nickname 'Mobile Shrapnel Units' from the human military. Lacking a sense of pain, and easily being able to take a certain level of physical punishment, the Glass could reach their destination, fulfill their mission, and get out alive.

It should come to no surprise at all that this Pokégirl loves eating glass, it naturally being the perfect supplement for them. Sand and other minerals, while also a fairly digestible food, take a bit longer ‘going down,’ so to speak. Depending on the minerals that she eats, the true color of a Glass can change and vary (not the refracted light), sometimes taking on weak hues of red, green, or blue, though it takes a focused diet of the proper minerals to fully change into a rich hue of a specific color. Many of the breed who use refraction to appear human choose not to do this, though will at the behest of their tamers. Some of the breed are used as showpieces, fed a particular diet for a vibrant hue and allowed to pose as living artwork. The Glass's color has no effect on the functionality of their Mirage Cloak, though it may slightly alter the appearance of Flare.

While feral Glasses can use Flare, the finer abilities of light refraction escapes them, and they tend to wander about, looking for choice areas of sand and other minerals. This breed becomes a particularly dangerous nuisance once they've tasted actual glass, as the breed seems to prefer glass in taste, and ferals will sneak into human habitation areas to shatter windows and greedily eat the contents. When met with hostility, many of the breed will simply flee, though if cornered, they use their very dangerous Shatterstorm before fleeing. Tamers are cautioned to have well armored pokegirls when fighting ferals of this breed, as well as having something interposing between the rock type and themselves during the fight, as thrown shards can easily kill a human.

Threshold directly into a Glass is very rare, as thresholders are more apt to becoming other rock types first. Chills are the most often recorded symptom, followed by their skin and other tissues slowly loosing any hue as their bodies are changed from flesh to the living glass like material. This swap from carbon to silica based tissues is actually completely painless, though the threshold itself is still unnerving, as most often, the body changes in layers, starting with the skin and working down into the muscles, viscera, and finally bones and cartilage.
