Recommendation if you see a swarm: Evacuate the area immediately. If you have a powerful-enough Pokégirl, try to kill the Wasp Queen. The swarm will not pursue you if you do so, as they will stay to watch and find out who their new Queen will be.

Wasp hives are lead by their Queen, a powerful evolution to the normal, insectile Wasp. When the old Wasp Queen dies, her death causes three of the most powerful Wasps within the hive spontaneously evolve into Wasp Queens themselves. The newly evolved trio of pokegirls then fight until only one remains, and the new queen of the hive then assumes control. Researchers theorize that upon death, the old Queen releases a unique chemical cocktail of pheromones that trigger the evolution in the most experienced Wasps. Thus far, no researcher has been able to verify this however. Regardless, Wasp Queens are placed on the menace list for many Leagues due to their violent natures and breeding habits.

Wasp Queens are considered by most to be a vast improvement from regular Wasps, at least in appearance. Gone are the insectile appearances of the lower legs and forearms, and their face becomes much more human with only antennae and compound eyes that appear close to human in shape and coloration. The insectile abdomen remains, though occasionally it becomes slightly longer. The breed's near human variance comes into play with the amount of chitinous armor on their bodies, some having only ridges along their forearms and shins, while others appear to have stylized 'suits' of armor. Upon evolving from a Wasp, the breed gains as much as a foot in height, though their breast size remains the same (unfortunately for small breasted domesticated Wasp Queens, their Immutable form makes permanent bloom powder useless). Their wings are slightly bigger, but much the same in appearance as their previous form's.

Wasp Queens are dangerous. These pokegirls have a lighter feral state, able to function on a higher than animal level, though this breed remains incapable of planning, speaking, and is ruled mainly by instinct. Capable of leading their swarms through their hive link, these regal insect pokegirls give out simple commands to their workers, ranging from repairing their hive to foraging for food or hunting breeding slaves. Average swarms are from 15 to 25 Wasps plus the Wasp Queen, making these bug types a dangerous foe to the unprepared or unaware. The swarm's territory is a rough 10 mile circle centered on the hive itself, an imposing mass made of thick waxy 'paper' (wood chewed into fine particles) and mud.

Like Buzzbreast colonies, Wasp swarms are considered menaces by many Leagues, and the breed lines have been targeted for extermination to varying degrees of success. Unlike their honeybee cousins, Wasps and Wasp Queens do not carry off pokegirls to be transformed with a venom, the method of this bug type's procreation is terrifying to many. Wasps go on breeding raids, scouring the area for suitable pokegirls, usually picking weaker breeds such as Titmice, and killing any breeds that are unsuitable, such as the small Cutiepie or the tauric Ponytaur. These 'breeders' are brought back to the Wasp Queen to be impregnated.

Wasp Queens have no womb. Their reproductive system is modified and resembles a blend of human and insect. This breed of pokegirl is able to begin embryos, though lacking a womb, they must place the embryos into another pokegirl or human woman for gestation. Their vagina's are completely forward facing, much like those of the naga line. This positioning allows them to use their specialized reproductive tract to impregnate other females. This poisonous pokegirl breed has a modified phallic ovipositor which can extend out of their bodies and act as a pseudopenis. Utilizing poisonous coat to have this appendage coated in lust and painkiller venoms, the breed is able to implant their own embryos into other females' wombs.

Any humans captured on these breeding raids are subject to remaining under low doses of exhausting venom as males are kept as drones for taming the Wasp Queen. Female humans are used as breeders. Luckily, any held captive by a swarm are subject to being fed and cleaned regularly by their captors and are generally not harmed aside from doses of exhausting venom to keep them more compliant. Should any of the breeders or drones prove dangerous they tend to be attacked and killed, especially during escape attempts. Some feral pokegirls become accustomed to the treatment, living out their lives producing more Wasps for the hive. Should the breeder become pregnant with her own offspring, the similar pregnancy scents will cause the Wasps to treat the resulting offspring as Wasps. Once any non-wasp pokekits become of age, many are used as breeders themselves.

Due to the similar feral natures of Wasps and Buzzbreasts, the two pokegirl lines often engage in violent territorial battles, and in the cases of full hive conflict, these battles often result in the death of most of the combatants, including the reigning Queens. Wasp Queens are also highly territorial towards others of their breed, and any queen that dares to intrude on another's territory is often met with the full force of the hive. The surviving Wasp Queen then takes control of all surviving Wasps.

Actual recordings of a Wasp Queen battling are rare, since they prefer to work through their swarms, several Watchers with Cameragirls have managed to catch several films of a Wasp Queen's battle tactics. They tend to stay high in the air, diving down to sting their opponent's with their special venoms, leaving them paralyzed and unable to move, or leaving them too aroused to fight back before she either captures them or kills them. In the rare instances they are forced to fight hand-to-hand, they are capable of using their tail stingers with amazing dexterity, as well as utilizing their Saw Punch and Saw Kick with their serrated shin and forearm armor.

Due to the threat Wasp Queens pose, if evidence of a swarm is found, all Tamers are advised to evacuate the area and report to the nearest League officials immediately. No attempts to capture Wasps or the Wasp Queen should be made without support. Depending on the League Wasp Queens may or may not be allowed in harems (depending on any damage they've done), and due to their reproductive nature, the breed often shares the same level of ostracism as the Dildo Queen breed, though a majority of domestics do not use their ovipositer on males.

Tamed Wasp Queens are socially dominant, preferring to be in charge, though tamers that keep this regal insect pokegirl are able to keep in control of them with willpower and domination being a heavy factor. Unless heavily watched, a Wasp Queen in the Alpha position treats it in much the same way as being the queen of a hive; meaning, they use their harem sisters as they would Wasps. Overall, this breed's tamed temperament is variable. Some Leagues do not allow Wasp Queens to be kept as domestics at all.

Threshold directly into a Wasp Queen is nearly unheard of, the occurrence is rare enough that only a double handful have been recorded. This process is noted by extreme abdominal cramps followed by external changes and growth of the abdomen and wings. Thresholders tend to have a more human outlook and a less dominant temperament than their domesticated counterparts.
