A Pokégirl unheard of in Sukebe’s Revenge, the Pirouette was initially discovered during the golden age of evolution stone experimentation, before the catastrophe that created the Orange Islands. Which is ironic, because they were not found in an attempt to test E-Stone evolution. This Pokégirl was originally discovered by a Researcher from the Sunshine League, who, in an attempt to study a connection between evolution stones of different sorts, their composition on the periodic table of elements, and magic, allowed her Tomboy to handle a Water Stone. The result, although useful to the rest of the world, completely ruined her research, as the new Pokégirl (who had actually only recently undergone Threshold) was unused to her body and abilities, and accidentally destroyed all of the Researcher’s computers.
Pirouettes are quite similar to humans in form. Without touching them, the only possible giveaway to their non-humanness is their hair, which is typically a shade of green or blue (with black being another common color), and is always silky and damp in appearance. Upon contact with their skin, however, their true nature can be easily discovered. The flesh of a Pirouette is always slightly damp to the touch (indeed, dryness is a sign of illness in the breed), and as a result their skin is very soft and smooth to the touch, particularly their well-proportioned breasts. Although the breed has no natural ability to use the Eternal Softness technique, they have no need to; the sexual technique would not be able to improve their skin beyond the level it is naturally at. The breed’s eyes are typically rather cool in coloration, with stormy grey and oceanic blue being the most common colors.
An important facet of the Pirouette’s ability in combat is their ki. The ki of a Pirouette is unique in that it naturally spirals. In a motion reminiscent of a whirlpool, their ki is not restrained to their body but projects outwards in an aura extending about four feet in every direction, where it constantly spirals about the Pirouette. Invisible and undetectable to all but those capable of wielding ki themselves, this slow maelstrom of energy grants the Pirouette not only a great amount of ki and the ability to swiftly regenerate their ki, but also allows them to be aware of everything that occurs within four feet of their body.
Not only does this grant them several ki-based attacks, but it also influences their fighting styles. They tend to use such martial arts as Baguazhang or certain styles of Kung Fu that focus on the circular motions, although they often, rather than simply using the style, adapt the movements and techniques into a fighting style of their own. Pirouettes are able to best use the circular motions that come naturally to the breed due to their spiraling ki. Occasionally incorporating methods of ballet into their fighting style (indeed, many Pirouettes also know several Dance attacks), they tend to fight with extra spins and rotations than another Fighting-type would be likely to use, whirling and twirling across the battlefield and using centripetal force to their advantage. Another ability the breed possesses is related to their great ability to use ki, although not the spiraling nature of said energy. They are capable of withholding one ki attack, such as Chi Blast or Ki Cannon, and retaining the energy in one of their fists or feet, to be unleashed upon striking the opponent. This is what allows the otherwise physically weak (for a Fighting-type) Pokégirl to fight evenly with some of the more powerful Pokégirls.
The whirlpool-like nature of their ki does not extend only to their martial arts. As a Pokégirl possessing the Water-typing in addition to being a Fighting-type, the Pirouette is skilled at using their water abilities to bolster their ability to fight at close range. Their Water Gun is more powerful than most would expect from that level of an attack, as the rotation of the water increases the force of impact. They are also capable of combining Water Floor and Whirlpool, which becomes even more dangerous when combined with Ki Maelstrom.
Pirouettes typically have few problems with interacting with their harem-sisters. However, they are an incredibly competitive breed, and Tamer’s should keep on the watch for sudden fights erupting between the Pirouette and a more volatile breed, or another of the more competitive Pokégirls. They enjoy training and fighting, and like to get others to exercise along with them. However, part of their competitive drive leads them to always attempt to attain the position of Alpha, even if they may not be very well suited to the position. They have no greater or lesser ability in the position than any other Pokégirl does, although they do tend to maintain rigorous training schedules. As a rather competitive Pokégirl, many of the breed have found themselves entered in various competitions, from fighting, to dance-offs, and even beauty pageants. Although they aren’t particularly fond of being in the spotlight, they do love to compete, and devote themselves to success.
The natural softness of the breed makes them a wonder in the Sex Battle arena. In addition to possessing a couple of sexual attacks (and being capable of learning a great many more), their lovely skin makes many of the sensations of sex even more intense. For their Tamers, Pirouettes tend to be rather submissive, which many find odd for such a competitive and strong-willed Pokégirl. The soft skin of the breed means that fucking their breasts is an provides an incredible experience regardless of the size of the Pokégirls chest, and they breed is well known both for that act and for the incredible handjobs they can give. A fetish that many of the breed share is a love for surprise sex (particularly surprise buttsex). Because the constant moistness of the breed extends to the inside of their bodies, it is perfectly safe for a Tamer to sneak up on their Pirouette and surprise her with sudden penetration.
The most remarkable part of Thresholding into a Pirouette is how subtle the change is. Unlike many other Threshold Fighting-types, Threshold Pirouettes are unable to sense their own ki without training, and so are unaware of the energy that constantly roils about them; the only noticeable change that the Thresholder would notice is the softer skin and the constant wetness.
Feral Pirouettes are rather uncommon, because they have a tendency to die rather quickly. Their competitive drive goes into overload, which unfortunately does not limit itself to feats of speed and strength. Feral members of this breed have been found fighting some of the most dangerous predators in the world, such as the Manti. Needless to say, this is often rather fatal.
