A G-Spliced is usually the result of some researchers mad experiment. As being such all their important stats tend to be quite varied and such. But G-spliced fall into a couple of categories: Hybrids, Amalgams, and Abomination. Also this type of gene-splicing tends to have chaotic factors, so the outcome may very well be unexpected. Even to the creator.
Their history begins around since 8 years before Sukebe's death. Since then they varied from mighty warriors to playful pets, many made illegally via genetic experimentation. And with a nigh limitless combination, thanks to the number of Pokégirl breeds, we've still yet to see how many combinations there really are.
Around the world there's people whom specialize in the study, capture, and care of G-Spliced, known as 'Splicers'. Contrary to what their name suggests, they don't create them. Though they may know how it's done. And among them, there's two G-Spliced that remain famous. the Legendary Sisters, Bastit, and Sexmet. The first G-Splices in history. They walk the thin line between Hybrids and Amalgams, though something extra may have been used in their creation.
Their creation gave rise to what we now know as the G-Spliced, Pokégirls fused by either genetic experimentation, magic, or through the infamous 'G-Stylus'.
G-spliced usually come in three different types, each with their own uniqueness and oddities. Though it should be noted that a vast majority of G-spliced are Sterile, some from all forms have been found to be able to breed. Nonetheless they're considered to still be G-Spliced.
Hybrids: This type of G-Spliced is best known for their tendency to be surprisingly strong. They are when two or more Pokégirls are blended in such a way that their bodies work in an odd manner. Unlike most G-spliced, they usually retain all of the typing of the component Pokégirls, templates included. They'll often have the combined strengths, weaknesses, enhancements, disadvantages, and attacks of the component Pokégirls as well. The main difference between a Hybrid and an abomination is that the Hybrids typings are close enough, and the components similar enough that it comes out as a viable and often attractive creature rather than a monstrosity. They're the easiest to find, due to their being able to survive, unlike the Abominations, but are by and large the most dangerous should one turn hostile. About one in every 600 Hybrids are capable of breeding, due to the chaotic nature of their DNA.
Amalgams: This type of g-spliced comes around when the component Pokégirls are brought together with extreme caution and care, and are what normally result from the use of the G-Stylus. This is the type of G-Spliced seems less like the Hybrid and more 'natural' than either the Hybrids or Abominations. Unlike the Hybrids, they're usually more of the average between the various component breeds, and rarely with more than two elemental types, more than three is unheard of. They're among the rarest kind of G-Spliced to find or create, due to the nigh-surgical accuracy and care needed. They're rarely strong enough to be a major threat, but tactically, they're a major security risk. They're also the luckiest as far as breeding goes, with approximately one in every hundred being viable.
Abominations: The classic image of a Mad Scientist's monster. These are sadly all too common creations, though few are seen in the wold as they're often unable to survive. It's nearly impossible, but not unheard f for them to breed. A vast majority of Abominations result from poor care and caution in the lab, or fusing far too many component breeds together, or reeds of viciously polarized elements. The end result is a freakish and disturbing mockery of life that very rarely is safe to be around, the few times that one safe to contact is found, they're usually timid, afraid, or even in physical pain from the mutations, and even rarer are they something sexually attractive. Unless f course monstrosities are 'your thing'. The Leagues usual policy for dealing with these creatures is their elimination, both for their sakes as well as that of others, though exceptions can, and have been made for special cases. Sadly, or luckily, the Abominations have the hardest luck, with almost every single one found to date being sterile, only a singular one found able to breed whom lived only long enough to give birth once, the child stillborn.
