Research into Jusenkyo began after the Indigo league fully settled, and over time the effects of the dangerous area were carefully cataloged. In 117AS, researchers made a startling discovery. When preforming a test on an uncatalogued pool, the test pokegirl, originally a Chickenlittle, transformed into an entirely new breed. This new pokegirl, dubbed the Sowlectra, a breed that Researchers believe was designed late in the War of Revenge as an additional food source, but never put into production. Regardless of the mysterious circumstances in which this Pokegirl has been found, they quickly became popular foodsource pokegirls among tamers, and were subsequently shipped across the globe through trade. Thanks to some escapes and the occasional abandonment, these electric pokegirls are now found in wilderness areas in every League.

These electric pokegirls range in height from four to five feet tall, with a bust ranging from a 'flat' A to close to a D cup. The breed's skin varies in color along human norms, and hair colors range from blonde, electric yellow, with a rare few having blue or silver hair. Very rarely, these pokegirls are completely bald, though this often happens with more animalistic members of the breed. Physical features vary slightly, some appear human, though with upturned noses, slightly pointed ears, and closer set, slightly smaller eyes. Close inspection usually reveals four more nipples and a small curly tail as well, which is common to the breed in both the closer to human and more animalistic forms. The nipples are actually 4 more breasts, which only appear as nipples until the breed is lactating, and recede once the milk has dried up. This is due mainly to the fact that a normal Sowlectra litter is 4-6 Pokékits via parthenogenesis. The breed tends to be somewhat plump, hearkening back to what pre-Sukebe historians call the Renaissance.

More animalistic members of the breed often have porcine ears that adorn their head, and coarse, sparse hair, giving the pokegirl the appearance of balding upon close inspection. Despite the breed's differences in hair, this pokegirl has the ability to charge their hair with electricity, causing their heads to glow. Animalistic Sowlectra tend to have lower canines that are large, usually around 4 inches long, that jut out from their mouths.

One of the most interesting features of this porcine breed is a specialized section of their back. This section, which covers about a foot diameter section of the lower back, produces meat much like a Kangasscunt, but in a very different manner. The meat is held within a thin layer of skin and surrounded by some connective tissue. When the Sowlectra actively chooses to, the meat and skin is literally flash-fried off by applying a large surge of electricity to the area. The meat is formed depending on the protein intake and time given for the meat to grow. For the first few days after the meat starts growing, it is composed entirely of fat and interspersed with only a few protein cells. As the meat is allowed to grow, the protein cells begin to use the surrounding fat for energy to replicate, and over time the entire back of the Pokegirl becomes literally a large, thick steak. This is a survival mechanism for the breed, much like some small lizards that lose their tails when attacked. When faced with a predatory Pokegirl that the breed is unable to shock away, a Sowlectra will flash fry her back, leaving behind slightly cooked meat (or fat) to distract the Pokégirl. The cooking makes a scent almost indistinguishable from real bacon frying, which is usually enough to distract all but the most violent of Pokégirls. With such a technique, this breed is rather popular as a foodsource for traveling tamers, as well as being an alternative and sometimes cheaper source of pork.

Many Tamers may see this Pokegirl to be a very good replacement for a Milktit, as these pig-based pokegirls are capable battlers, and have none of the problems of constant lactation. However, in order for the breed's food to not be made mainly of fat, harvesting the meat can only be done once per week. This limits the breed's production of food somewhat. Some members of the breed, particularly younger feralborne members of the breed, tend to be skittish in nature. Sometimes more skittish members of the breed are called Giltlectrics, though in reality, the difference between 'gilt' and 'sow' is used to denote if the pokegirl in question has had children. The breed has no real preferences in Taming, though most have shown that they dislike lying on their backs, as the section of their back can be torn off easily with vigorous activity.

These porcine pokegirls are considered fierce combatants, using their durability to shrug off damage that would incapacitate other speedier electric types. The breed tends to be comfortable both at range or in close combat, and uses some forethought to their fighting. Often times an opponent has dodged a thunderbolt only to find that the Sowlectra has maneuvered them into position for another attack. While this often gives them an advantage with flying types or water types that stay out of reach in their respective elements, the breed's lack of non-electric techniques tend to make them easy to defeat by pokegirls with elements that are strong against electricity.

Ferals of the breed tend to be omnivores, eating carrion as well as finding their own vegetative and meat food (the easiest for them to catch is fish with their electrical powers). They tend to be easily startled, and shock when threatened. Younger members tend to fry their meat patches if harassed further and flee, though older ones will attack with thunderbolts and mock charge. Of note is that feralborne members tend to have a mottled dark and light pattern of skin when younger, while older individuals have a single line of coarse hair that runs from the top of the forehead to the end of their shoulder blades. These 'razorbacks' tend to be much more aggressive due to leading the feral group. Some predatory ferals learn to target younger members of the breed to harass for a satisfying (if somewhat fattening) meal.

Threshold into a Sowlectra is rare, with only general aches and skin irritation depending on what features of the thresholder change. Itching in the area of the back patch is often the most notable symptom, though random electrical discharges in the form of static buildup has also been noted. Luckily the thresholder only gains full power to her electrical abilities when they finish their transformation into a pokegirl. Hair loss is sometimes the most dramatic change, though many threshold members of the breed are often sold to farms or given to Ranches.
