The Psyche breed were mostly noncombatants during the Revenge war. They were one of several pokegirls designed to keep Sukebe’s forces tame, but they also served as mediators and morale boosters amongst the pokegirl forces. Despite their dislike of violence, they did fight when backed into a corner and there are a few confirmed casualties among human armies caused by Psyche arrows. Eventually many of these pokegirls would find the constant bloodshed of the war to be pointless and would surrender in droves, often bringing many more pokegirls along with them. Today, Psyche are mostly owned by tamers looking to compete in sex battles, either participating themselves or training their harem sisters. They are also bought to act as relationship counselors and diplomats.

Psyche are metamorphic pokegirls, but for the most part appear largely human. They can change their skin color to any of the human norms, alter their hair and eye color to any in the rainbow, and alter their measurements on a whim. The only true constant on their body is the large pair of wings that each Psyche bares. These wings can either be insect-like, in the fashion of butterflies and moths, or the feathered wings of birds. Whatever the form, they tend to be brightly colored in a pattern that is unique to each Psyche. When changing form a Psyche’s face will retain most of it’s features no matter what appearance they take. Like the Witch line, these pokegirls are capable of summoning their own clothes. They tend to dress modestly, with a preference for white silk robes and backless outfits that don’t restrict their wings. As they bond to a tamer they’ll often change their style of dress to fit their tamer’s fetishes.

As a breed, Psyche are definitely what some might call a sexlestial pokegirl. These pokegirls are not shy about their sexual desires and see a healthy physical relationship as being vital to interaction between tamer and pokegirls, harem sisters, and even plain old friends. An ideal world to a Psyche is one where everyone is enjoying the most positive relationship possible. To this end, these pokegirls are always doing their best to strengthen the relationships of those around them, and will try to Delta-bond to their tamer as soon as possible, also encouraging a Delta-bond with the rest of her harem sisters. The high level of empathy these pokegirls experience helps them settle disputes between others, analyzing the feelings at the heart of conflicts and doing their best to help each side express themselves and find a peaceful solution. Because of this behavior many Psyches quickly find themselves promoted to the harem’s alpha. While these pokegirls usually have good intentions some Psyche are more manipulative than others when it comes to interactions with their harem sisters and tamer. They more readily rely on magic to fix their problems than talking things out. Tamers are advised to nip this behavior in the bud, especially if the Psyche seems to be doing it to them. Some of the spells Psyche use can have addictive effects when used repeatedly and allow her an unhealthy amount of control over her harem sisters and tamer.

With their focus on sex and emotion many people forget that these pokegirls are fighting types and very capable combatants. They have a natural talent for archery which they pursue with a passion, practicing with their bow whenever they have the spare time. Their level of skill is comparable to many of the elven breeds or a Amazon that specializes in the use of a bow. Because of their affinity for magic, they are capable of producing multiple trick arrows to alter the mind of their opponents. For the most part these pokegirls rely on Cupid’s or Eros’ Bow to take the fight out of their opponent and put them in a more loving mood. If they are particularly angry at an opponent they have other arrows they can create that cause less positive emotions. Magic that causes fear, sadness, depression, apathy, or anger can all be easily focused into arrow form and shot into an opponent. If the enemy is strong willed enough to resist these arrows a Psyche will reluctantly fall back on their more damaging attacks, imbuing their arrows with chi or celestial energy. While powerful ranged fighters these pokegirls aren't strongest physically, usually not much stronger or tougher than a healthy human female. As a result most Psyche rely on their flying attacks to push the enemy back and often set up some kind of magical shield to protect themselves. While getting past these barriers can often be difficult, a Psyche has very little they can do to fight an opponent when they get in close. For this reason, speedy and agile pokegirls that can dodge easily and quickly close the gap between themselves and the Psyche are their best counter for this breed.

A Psyche will try just about anything once when it comes to taming. They’re very enthusiastic when it comes to learning new sex techniques and their empathy means they always know how to get a reaction out of their partner. The feeling of their partners pleasure effects the Psyche as well and these pokegirls enjoy few things more than basking in the bliss of their tamer, and a few harem sisters, during and after a taming session. These pokegirls are excellent for sex battles, save for the fact that many Psyche refuse to compete in them. They feel that turning taming into a competition sullies the point and drives people apart instead of bringing them together. Surprisingly some of these same pokegirls have no problem using sex attacks in normal battles, seeing it as the lesser of two evils. While some have no problem competing their empathy is a bit of a risk as the more they please their opponent the more pleasure passes on to them.

Feral Psyche become extremely happy and become very easy to amuse. They feel the need to spread their happiness to others and constantly fire those they meet with Cupid’s Bow. If they encounter children or pokekits they shoot them with a different arrow that just places the child in a happy and playful mood. If they encounter people behaving violently then they shoot them with arrows designed to fill them with a crushing depression instead.

Psyche Thresholds are rare, most girls becoming Rooders or other pokegirls based on their genetics. The process is quick, usually foreshadowed by the girl in question acquiring random insights into the emotions of the people around them. The actual physical transformation happens in less than a minute, the girl’s back will start to glow and then her wings will manifest themselves.
