Marcus kept the blade tip resting against the canine's neck. “Where the fuck is my harem?” He repeated. The unknown pokégirl had shown up several hours after the attack. 'Greedy bitch probably isn't content with just stealing four of my girls, she wants the entire harem,' Marcus thought as he watched her. She looked like she might have been one of the fox types. Her fur was definitely blue, with a darker patch that looked like it had started at the base of her head and traveled down her back, with random stripes along the way down to her tail. She was every bit as animalistic as Anahi's battle form was. Her redish purple hair was definitely an oddity with her blue fur and white underbelly. “I ain't asking again.”

“Let me go,” the intruder struggled against the much larger canine and Dragon type. Despite her strength, both girls together were stronger than she was. There was also the monkey looking girl that was holding her down with a large rod that felt like it weighed much more than what it should have.

“Not until you tell me where I can find my sisters,” Sonja placed a foot down on the captive's breast, stepping down as hard as she could. The girl seemed to barely bat an eye at the weight though.

“I don't know! I was supposed to find someone around here that could help me track down the people doing this.”

Marcus wasn't buying it. “Right. And I'm the Sultan of the Jade Islands.”

“Check your pokédex, your Highness.” She knew that she could possibly get out of here if she wanted, she just wasn't sure if she could teleport away without bringing everyone touching her along for the ride. She waited patiently while the Tamer went away, slightly grateful for having the sword removed from her throat.

Marcus scanned their captive. He wasn't happy with what he seen. The girl might have looked like she was one of the Fox-based girls, but the 'dex showed that she was actually closer related to the same canines that Anahi was. “Let her up. She's a fuckin' Celestial.”

Sonja looked around confused. “Are you sure? There's always t the possibility that she's doin' something funny to the 'dex. That could be why she had you scan her.”

“We're not blaming her for what happened last night. Sonja, you heard the Master.” Anahi helped the girl to her feet.

“What in the hell are you doin' here?” Marcus asked. He might not of had the sword pointed at the Dire Wolf's throat, but it was still pointed in her direction.

“Wait you mean that some of your harem was kidnapped last night as well?” The Dire Wolf quickly scanned the mind of the Wolf Queen. She seemed to be a lot more willing to believe that her when she said that she hadn't done anything, and wasn't part of the reason that half of her 'pack' was missing. “I'm sorry.” She understood now why the Tamer was so hostile. He truly cared for his harem, and he blamed himself for loosing half of them.

“What. Are. You. Doin'. Here?” Marcus didn't want her pity, he wanted answers. He didn't want to trust the 'girl completely yet. She had already admitted to knowing what was going on, and where his missing harem was.

“I was sent here in order to stop a band of thieves from stealing your pokégirls, though I'm obviously a bit late.” The Dire Wolf sighed as she sat down. “I was also supposed to find the guy who was supposed to help me bring the criminals to justice, but I can't seem to find him.”She sat down.

Marcus stormed off, leaving the Dire Wolf to whatever it was that she wanted to do. He heard somebody following after him, but he was just to pissed to care who it was. A random tree in the forest became a victim of Marcus's rage. Punch after punch, kick after kick. Heavy blows barely made a dent in the ancient tree's bark.

Sonja kept silent as Marcus worked out his frustrations. It wasn't often that she ever saw him that pissed off. “It's not your fault you know,” her whisper was drowned out in an angry yell let out by Marcus. She stepped in though when she heard a snapping noise. Marcus had kicked the tree long and hard enough that he actually broke his shin. She rushed over to his side, cradling her injured Master. “It's not your fault.”

Marcus didn't want to hear it. He blamed himself for everything. For Mika and Leilah leaving during the Saint Padie's Day celebration. For his harem being kidnapped right out from under his nose. The build up of stress and pain from his broken leg was to much. Marcus pushed Sonja away as he rushed over to the base of the tree.

The Dire Wolf was the first to arrive at the scene, teleporting from where she was sitting to stand behind the Wukong. The Tamer was on all fours hunched over the trunk of a tree, puking. “What in the hell's goin' on here?”

Sonja ignored the Celestial Canine. She moved over to Marcus and kept his hair, which hadn't been cut in over a year, from falling into his face. “Come on, we need to get that leg looked at.” Sonja helped Marcus stand on his good leg. They were forced to stop however when the Dire Wolf got in their way. “Move.”

“I don't think so. Just keep him still for a moment.” The Dire Wolf knelt down. She took a claw and carefully cut the pant leg covering the wound. “Sorry, but this is seriously going to hurt.” She reached down and placed a hand on the swelling wound. She concentrated on the wound. She psionically moved the bone back into place, trying to keep it as painless as possible. When the bone felt like it was back in place she clasped a hand over it quickly, pouring healing magic into the wound. She tried to focus mostly on the bone first, healing the break. “It should do, but I'd still get that checked out at a 'Center.”

Sonja wanted to smack the bitch. She had healed Marcus, for that much she was grateful for, but she'd done so without dulling the pain. “Marcus, are you alright.”

“I just want to get out of here.” It took everything Marcus had not to piss his pants when his bone was reset and healed. “Thanks for healing me, now get lost.” Marcus stood up on his own. He walked passed the Dire Wolf and through the small gathering of what was left of his harem. “We're leaving. We need to report what's happened.”

'We both know that it won't do any good.'

Marcus froze as he looked around. He had heard the voice before, but yet at the same time it was still foreign to him. He turned back to the Dire Wolf, who was simply floating there in mid air. “Was that you?”

“Was what me?” She was honestly confused as to what was going on. She blinked when the Tamer that he had heard something talking to him in his head. She looked around and tried to remember everything she could about the breeds. Unless they all were Delta Bonded, then she was the only one able to communicate telepathically. But then if it was one of the members of his harem, he wouldn't have been surprised to hear them. He certainly wouldn't have thought it was her. She extended her psionic awareness, touching the consciousness of everyone that was around them. It was then that she finally realized that there was another pokégirl with them. She focused on the new conscience. It was emanating from the Tamer, “Hold on, I wanna try something.”

“What the hell are you gonna-” Marcus didn't need to finish. Before anyone could stop her she moved. He watched in wide eyed horror as the clawed hand of the Dire Wolf ripped through his chest. Marcus dropped to his knees as he dropped his head down. He slowly brought his hands up to his chest, feeling no pain and no wound. There wasn't even as much as a torn fiber on his clothing.

The Dire Wolf grinned as she tightened her grip on the Ghost-type. “You were starting to be possessed by this girl. What do you want done with her?” The Ghost-type tried struggling, but she wasn't strong enough to break free. The Dire Wolf tightened her grip around the 'girl's throat.

“What is she?” Sasha was having a hard time following the events. Just last night half the girls in the harem were stolen, then this strange Celestial Canine came in from who knows where, Marcus breaks his leg, and then he was possessed buy some unknown Ghost-type.

“I think it's a Ghostly.” The Dire Wolf opened her hand, allowing the Ghostly to escape. While the 'girl immediately vanished from sight, she was still tracking it mentally. As she fired a beam of psionic energy at the girl, she hoped that the Ghostly would find peace and finally move on. “Are you okay?”

Marcus had to nod. “Y-yeah. I'm starting to feel a bit better. But it still hurts like hell.” Marcus's memory was a bit fuzzy on what had happened. He knew that thieves had kidnapped his harem, as well remembering when he stormed off with Sonja behind him. He remembered kicking the tree, as well as feeling the bone break in his leg. He remembered every last detail of the past twenty four hours except for one. “When the fuck did she take my body for a joy ride?”

“I don't know.” The Dire Wolf tried to recall what her lessons included had taught her about most Ghostlys. “They usually just feed on a person's life energy. I guess this one had a thing for the taste of despair or whatever emotions you were feeling.” There wasn't any point in her staying around here. There was nothing more that she could do to help this tamer, and yet she didn't want to leave. It was her fault that she didn't get there fast enough to save his harem. She knew that the attack would happen, she should have prevented it.

“Well, thanks for that.” Marcus had everyone start packing up. He took his 'dex and started video logging the scene of the attack, and then went back and videoed the area where they had disappeared from all angles, including climbing a few trees to get a better view from up top. “Come on. We're leaving.”

“Umm.....” The Dire Wolf raised her hand to stop him, but when he turned around she got worried. “Umm, would you mind if I come back with you? I'm not really strong enough to teleport back by myself.”

“Then how in the hell did you get here?” Marcus asked. It didn't make sense for a girl to be able to teleport one way without being able to teleport back. Marcus leaned in when he heard the girl grumble something. “What was that?”

“I said I had help, alright?” The Dire Wolf actually looked ashamed of the fact she couldn't do it by herself.

Marcus tried to keep a straight face, swallowing his laughter. “Ok-ay,” Marcus nearly broke out into laughter, “how far did you teleport from?”

“I came from Bebja City. I was sent to live at the Gym with one of the Assistants. But when I got there I was told that I had another destiny by Gabriel's Megami-sama. My name is Isabella.” She extended her pawed hand, shaking the hand of the Tamer. She had to be very careful though. If she was to squeeze to hard she could easily break his hand just by flexing.

“Glad to meet you. I guess you can. I know that you tried your best to save my harem, but you have GOT to seriously work on your timing. You can't save anything if you keep showing up late.” Marcus turned away and allowed her to follow. The walk was quiet. No one seemed to be high spirits, and that was perfectly understandable. After a few hours of walking, the ocean started to come into view. “There she is ladies. Another day or two and we'll be in a city.” Marcus slid down a steep hill to the ocean, his harem following after him with Isabella floating along idly. “How about some lunch?”

Anahi had to cover for a lot of the slack. With half the harem missing, there was an increase work load. Anahi took care of both gathering drift wood for a fire, as well as fishing. She wasn't as proficient as what Jira used to be. Between her and Sonja they managed to gather enough fish and fruits to feed everyone, including Isabella. “I smell someone close. And they're pokégirls. They don't seem to have any human scents with them, so they're most likely feral.”

“Leave 'em be. They're just bein' drawn in by the smell of our food.” Marcus helped himself to a rather tasty looking fish. He was just about to enjoy another when Sonja came skidding across the sand behind him.

“Marcus! Mushrooms!” Sonja knew that Marcus liked the disgusting fungus. She figured that if he knew where they were at then he could pick 'em. She wasn't even going to touch them. If he wanted them, he could get them himself.

Marcus thought about it. Mushrooms would round out the meal nicely. True they'd taste better seasoned, dipped in cornmeal, and fried. But fresh worked too. “Show me the way. You girls want any you better come along. Other wise you'll just end up missing out.” Marcus was accompanied by just Sasha. The Jugguar seemed to be the only other one that shared his fondness of the delectable fungi. Marcus was glad to see that the mushrooms weren't that far, maybe a dozen or so yards from the fire. Marcus bent down over the log with Sasha and began picking the mushrooms that were safe to eat.

Anahi stared into the fire as the fish cooked. She felt responsible for the fact that her sisters were taken right from underneath her snout. She wiped a tear away as soon as she heard the approaching footprints of Marcus, Sonja, and Sasha. She needed to be the strong one, the one that everyone relied on. Her wolfish nose wrinkled, “How can you stand eating fungus?”

“Same way that you can stand eating uncooked meat. It tastes good.” Marcus skewered one of the mushrooms on a stick. “Besides, I told you before that you can only eat certain ones. Not all of them are tasty or good for you.” Marcus thought back to when Anahi had picked several mushrooms for him, ones that could have killed him if he ate them. “Just leave the mushroom and fungus gathering to yours truly.”

Anahi felt like Marcus was just putting on a strong front, just as she was. “Yes Master.”

Marcus ate silently after that. The six of them didn't seem to care to speak much any more. He was putting the fire out with sand when a clawed hand rested on his shoulder. “What's-” His sentence was cut short when he was unable to open his mouth again.

“Stay quiet. I can smell pokégirls and a human, but I can't read their minds.” Isabella sent the telepathic message to everyone in the group. She got a reply from each one stating that they could understand. She continued to keep in touch with Anahi. She knew that the Wolf Queen didn't trust her much, and while she didn't trust her she accepted the fact that she wasn't going to hurt her or her pack.

Marcus nodded. He didn't know why, but the Dire Wolf was sending what she seemed to see, which was three blurred figures walking their way. Isabella disappeared from view, probably using Invis or one of the other skills she might have possessed to disappear from sight. Marcus could tell that his four girls were all prepared for a fight, despite the fact that they all seemed to be goin' about what they whatever they were doing.

“I. Don't. Believe. It.”

While the sound of the voice seemed familiar, it didn't register until after Marcus had started attacking. Marcus grabbed a burning stick while he jumped up. He intended to bash the Tamer upside the head, only to get suspended in midair. There was a buzzing sound as a saw blade was swung towards his neck. There was a flash of lightning out of the side of his eye, and he figured that it had to be Sasha.

“Will you calm down? Jesus, that's what's wrong with you. You never think about things. You're always jumping before you look. And tell your girls to stand down.”

Marcus tried to turn his head to see who the voice belonged to. He could have sworn he heard that voice before as well as that saying. “Shut the hell up and let me down. This damn stick is about to burn my fuckin' hand of.” Marcus yelped as he unceremoniously dropped to the ground. He let the stick roll out of his hand and down the beach. He looked up only to go wide eye. “JOSHUA!” Marcus scrambled to his feet, lunging at the Tamer. He wasn't stopped this time, embracing the male in a tight hug. “Girls, I want you to meet my big brother, Joshua T. Waters.”

Anahi watched as the others slowly began to relax. Marcus seemed to forget all about them, talking away non-stop with his brother. She walked over to Sonja, reverting back to her human form. “Do you know Master's brother?”

Sonja shook her head. “Nope. I think I'd meet Chisha a few times before when she was still human, but I don't remember. As far as I can tell, I'd only heard about him was when we stayed with Marcus's family for the Rainy Season.” Sonja waited patiently while Marcus made the introductions. When he seemed done it was Joshua's turn to introduce his harem.

“You've never meet, but here's everyone.” Joshua pulled five balls from his belt. When all of his girls were released he introduced them. “The Sorceresses are Morgan and Faye,” he moved around to the next pair of girls, “my Bonemaidens are Cleopatra and Nefritirie,” he moved around to a completely different pair of girls, “the Vampire here is Susan. The Lovebug is Mellody.” Joshua came to a stop at the last girl. “And my newest addition. This is Serori. She's a-”

“Sayjin.” Marcus finished the sentence. He couldn't place his finger on it, but the Sayjin looked familiar. He was certain that she wasn't some unknown offspring of his mother. “Where'd you get her?”

“I won her in a battle against some dude from Tyroon. Thought he could leave the life of a Coordinator behind and become an actual Tamer.” Joshua grinned. “So where's the rest of your girls?” He shrugged when Marcus gave him a questioning look. “I called home a few nights ago. We all got to talking about things and I'd heard that you had a full harem.”

Marcus nodded, swallowing a lump in his throat. “Yeah. I did have. But they were kidnapped last night.” Marcus suddenly didn't feel like talking to his brother.

Joshua kept silent. He had no idea that his brother had been through so much recently. He had so wanted to meet Rose as well. He sat next to his brother staring out at the ocean while the harems began to mingle. He looked back, seeing that Serori was trying to pick a fight as usual. “God, that girl's just as annoying as your Mother.”

“Then why'd you take her?” Marcus kept his head down, cradled in his knees and arms.

“Ehh, it was by luck. The battle was a pot luck battle. Winner picked a ball at random and kept the girl that belonged to it.” Joshua leaned over and bumped his little brother off balance and into the sand. “What do ya say? How about a lesson for old time's sake?”

Marcus gave a depressed chuckle. “Why? You can get the moves down, but you're useless in a fight.”

“Well,” Joshua shrugged, “I wouldn't say useless. Turns out I'm better at strategies and planning. Let me guess, you're still going for the 'Front Door' approach?”

Marcus took a deep breath before standing up. “Guess I am. It's worked pretty well so far though. Even got Shanti to start fighting hand to hand.” Marcus felt a sinking feeling as he remembered the Archmage. “Come on. Let's see if you still remember the steps.” Marcus stood next to Joshua facing the ocean. Slowly they worked through the katas that had been drilled into them. Before long everyone from his harem had joined in, even Joshua's Sayjin. The sun was starting to set, leaving them all tired from practicing all day. Joshua had to stop early, his body no longer use to the long hours of practice.

“Jesus. I haven't done that in forever.” Joshua felt exhausted, although it was a good kind. He was glad when he felt the healing spell coursing through him. He thanked Faye. “So, feel like camping out here for the night?”

Marcus nodded. “Hold on. Haleigh, come with me.” Marcus had spotted movement on the beach several hundred yards down the beach, where a mountain cliff meet the ocean.

“What is it?” Haleigh followed behind Marcus. She didn't move far from him though, just far enough so that she could pull him to safety if need be.

“Dunno. That's why we're goin' down to have a look.” Marcus stopped several yards back. On the beach were various kits all playing together. He could spot Kittens, as well as several water types that looked like Polishags. When he finished counting there were at least a half dozen.

“And I thought there was gonna be a fight.”

Marcus turned around to see Serori standing behind him. “What're yo- never mind. I know what you're doin' here. You said it yourself, you thought there was goin' to be a fight.”

“Well, look at you. Thinking that you're so clever. Tell me Officer Jenny, what was your first clue?” Serori crossed her arms below her rather modest breasts.

“Well, I know from experience that Sayjins are pig headed, arrogant, and have all the emotional range of a squash until they get put in their place.” Marcus snickered to himself when he heard the 'girl behind him stutter a nonsense sentence. “You might as well go back. There's no point in you bein' here, unless your power extends to only picking on 'kits.” Marcus ignored the insults flung back at him as the Sayjin stormed off.

Haleigh laughed as she played with several of the 'kits. The Kittens in particular seemed to be interested in chasing her tail around. “Hey, what are all these 'kits doing here?”

“My guess is that they're living together. I bet you right now that whatever's keeping them safe is only leaving us alone because we aren't gonna hurt them.” Marcus smiled as a one of the Kittens came over and hugged his leg. The young girl looked up at him and grinned. Marcus felt his heart swell with emotion at the little girl hugging him. His tail suddenly swelled in pain as one of the 'kits mistook his swishing tail as a string. Marcus jumped around in pain as the Kitten tried to hang on to her prize. He thought he would ask Haleigh for help, but the Dragoness was to busy laughing at him to do anything. Marcus spun around, swinging a leg over his tail. He was about to flick the girl on the nose when a loud splash came from the ocean behind him. He ducked as a long girl swooped over him. The Kitten had thankfully let go of his tail, which was instantly wrapped around his waist for protection.

Haleigh was quick to switch from play mode to protection mode. She knew that the Kitten was only playing and didn't know she was hurting Marcus, but the 'kit's protector was another thing. She shot into the air, knocking a few of the pokékits down. Haleigh didn't know what the girl was, but she was definitely Draconic in nature. It almost looked like the girl was swimming through the air, Haleigh didn't see any wings propelling her. Haleigh was about to strike when she heard Marcus yelling from below. She steered away, coming to a landing next to Marcus. “What?”

“I said don't hurt her. She's a Dracare, and a MILF templated one at that.” Marcus put his 'dex away back in his pocket. The 'dex said that they were usually calm. The only reason for the outburst was probably because he was about to flick the Kitten on the nose when she bit his tail, which was still throbbing in pain. “She's just protecting her kids.”

“The next time she feels like protecting her 'kits, I'm going to protect my foot straight up her ass.” Haleigh puffed. She knew Marcus would never hurt a child intentionally. She wasn't even sure if he could bring himself to do that to a 'kit if his life depended on it.

“Come on. As long as I keep the tail wrapped up it should be f-fuck! Stop her!” Marcus pointed over at Serori. The Sayjin had started to throw Chi Blast after Chi Blast at the Dracare. One of the Chi Blasts seemed to miss, and it fell towards the group of 'kits. Marcus had to act quickly. Haleigh was already intercepting the Sayjin, and the Chi Blast was on it's way down. 'Who ever heard of a ball of chi? And why is the damn thing falling?' Marcus thought as he ran around the kits. He had to wait. If anything touched that chi it would most likely explode. “Fuck, this if going to hurt.” Marcus grit his teeth as he ran and jumped. The sand didn't offer much protection, but he was still able to get high enough to intercept the blast of chi. As he thought, the chi orb detonated when he touched it. Marcus didn't even have time to blink. The force of the detonation was enough to send him flying over the heads of the children. Those with sensitive hearing were affected more by the concussive blast that followed.

The Dracare suddenly knew something was wrong. She felt her children in trouble, even though she had been drawing fire away from the 'kits. The tailed male wasn't a threat to the 'kits, she could feel that. But the one that was a threat was the other tailed ones. She screamed as she saw the orb descending towards her 'kits. She raced as fast as she could, but she wasn't able to get to it in time. The tailed male had sacrificed his body to protect her children. She could just tell that they were all going to be alright. She looked back to see why the tailed attacker had stopped. The winged one that had started to chase her earlier was restraining the tailed threat. She circled her children and the man, dousing them with a rain cloud that had formed within her circle.

Anahi was quick to arrive. She felt the rain pelting her fur as she keeled next to her Master. She gasped when she saw his right arm, or rather, she gasped when she couldn't see his right arm. The entire arm was gone, with the shoulder looking like it had been lost to a shredder. At first she thought about turning around and calling for Shanti, but then she remembered that the Archmage was one of the ones stolen last night. She could have tried the various potions that Shanti had left behind, but she didn't know what any of them did. The wound seemed to be healing itself, but it was all wrong. The shoulder seemed to be stitching itself back together without the arm growing back.

“Get out of our way.” Nefritirie squirmed between the Wolf Queen and her tamer, with a bit of help from Morgan. Grabbing hold of Master Joshua's brother's shoulder she glanced up. “Keep him as still as you can. He's gonna be in pain, and he's gonna buck.” Nefritirie nodded towards Morgan.

Morgan replaced Nefritirie beside Marcus's lost arm. A soft blue orb of light wobbled into view just under her hand. She placed her hand on the wound, trying to ignore the sudden pain filled roar from her Master's brother. She had to regrow the entire arm before the rain finished closing the wound. She concentrated, using a bit of Nefritirie's powers to manipulate bone.

Anahi had to shift forms to keep Marcus under control by herself. Everyone had gathered around them inside the rain, except for the one that had caused this. She watched as the few stubs of bone left from his shoulder elongated and reformed, muscle reforming and stitching itself back together. Horrified, amazed, scared, and hopefully she watched.

Haleigh punched through a red light that was just a split second ago was the Sayjin's head. She saw Joshua standing in front of her, the Sayjin's 'ball in his hand. “She'll pay for that.” Haleigh turned and ran towards Marcus’s screaming. When she got there she gasped at what she saw. Marcus's arm was in ruins, though it seemed like it was trying to fix itself. From his fingers to his elbow was nothing more than a skeleton. Muscle and blood vessels crept forward from his upper arm like a nightmarish creature with to many legs. She helped restrain Marcus. He was thrashing around and Anahi couldn't successfully restrain him by herself without getting in the way.

Marcus was in more pain than he ever knew. Tears streamed from his eyes as he thrashed about, only to gain very little in progress since he was now being restrained by two girls phenomenally stronger than himself. The lack of muscles in his arm was preventing him from moving his right arm, and a strong hand on his shoulder was preventing him from moving his shoulder up and away. The more pain he felt, the more he thrashed. The more he thrashed, the more his captors held him down.

Morgan thought about using a sleeping spell on the Tamer, but that thought was quickly squashed by the fact that Master Joshua had come up behind her. “He's almost done. I've still got several bones to regrow, but with Nefi helping me, I should be able to have his arm regenerated in just a few moments.” She looked up, the rain having stopped. Without the rain trying to heal the arm shut her work was going to go much faster. With the rain stopped she was able to see that the regeneration was going much smoother and quicker.

Marcus sat up when he felt everyone get off him. His head was swimming, he was nauseous, and his entire being was screaming in pain. “What the fuck did you do to me?”

“Is that the thanks they get for giving you your arm back?” Joshua kicked a bit of sand in his brother's face. “If that's how you're gonna be about it I'll just have them take it right back off.” There wasn't any reason for his little brother to be coping an attitude after his girls healed him. True it was his pokégirl that had caused him to loose an arm, but he'd taken care of it. “Don't worry about it. Serori's gonna be either Leveled 5 for that, or I'll give her to another league to use as PokéPower.”

Haleigh looked around. All of the pokégirls were dead silent at the mentioning of those two fates. The only sound that could be heard in the setting sun was that of Marcus rasping for breath. He slowly got his breath back, the pain subsiding with a spell from Faye. “Are you sure those are her only options?”

“She injured a human. Whither she intended to do it or not, the fact still stands that she blew the arm of a Tamer. And he was my little brother none-the-less. What would you have me do?” Joshua crossed his arms. He wasn't enjoying the fact that his brother's girls were starting to question him about the best way to discipline his harem.

“Trade her to Marcus.” Sonja shrugged when everyone whirled her way. “I'm serious. Marcus was the one that she injured, so let him decide what she deserves.” Sonja scratched her head. There wasn't any reason for Joshua to decline. “We've got a couple of Doggirls for sure, and then there's a few more.” Sonja ran to retrieve the 'pack they'd been using to store the captured ferals in. “There's Doggirls, a couple of Ladyiens, a Spidergirl, and a Dao.”

Joshua thought about it for a moment. It was true that he had a hard time controlling the Sayjin, mostly because she didn't like the idea of everyone in the harem relying on 'trickery' to win battles. The use of magic in a fight was down right disrespectful to the Sayjin. The Dao sounded like she could be of better use, especially if she'd obey orders better. “You said a Dao right?”

“Yeah, the evolved form of a Earthmaiden.” Sonja nodded. Hopefully she would be able to spare the Sayjin's life.

“Fine. But for the Dao and the Spidergirl.” Joshua looked at Marcus. His little brother nodded, agreeing with the trade. Joshua and Marcus traded 'girls, Joshua having the extra space for the additional girl. He'd figure out which of them would be better in the last Non-Combatant slot once he got to town.

Marcus stood up and staggered over to where the camp was pitched hours earlier. “I'm goin' to bed. Think you girls can handle sentry duty without me?” Marcus grinned weakly when his harem nodded. “Anyone need a taming?”

“Well, we could all use one, but we'll settle for a couple of quickies tomorrow. You need to sleep and regain your strength.” Haleigh stretched. She'd take first watch. Keeping watch for only a couple hours a night was easy. She was becoming more of a night Hooter more and more. Red flashes signaled that everyone else had retired to their pokéballs for the time being. She wasn't alone, Joshua had stationed his Lovebug, Mellody, to stand guard for the entire night.

“Are you sure you're alright?” Isabelle walked across the rooftop of the home. She didn't know where she was, but she was willing to bet that it was some place Marcus knew. Digging into his head a bit she realized that the rooftop belonged to his parents, as well as the house it sheltered.

“I'm fine. Tell you what I don't need. A Celestial poking around my brain without permission while I'm tryin' to catch some Z's.” Marcus tried to out run her, but every time he turned around there she was. At least he knew he was dreaming, meaning that he was finally taller than her. “You saw the entire fight, but you didn't stop any of it. What kind of Celestial is willing to sit back and watch as innocent pokékits are in harm's way?” Marcus wasn't exhausted, but he was tired of trying to pointlessly out run a Psionic girl while dreaming.

“Hey, I had my reasons. If I even thought that the 'kits were in any real danger I would have stepped in.” Isabella lounged comfortably on a recliner that had appeared from nowhere.

“And another thing. Why in the hell did you disappear once my brother showed up?” Marcus wanted an explanation for that.

“It's because I can't read his mind.”

“Yeah, that'd be the Blank Mind curse he's got.” Marcus shrugged.

“Because of that I couldn't tell what his true intentions are. Hell, even his Harem is magically fortified. I get the feeling that both of his Sorceresses were the ones casting the mental shielding spells.” Isabelle sighed. She knew that most of the things happening in the world were done by either science or magic. By focusing more on her psionic power she figured she'd have the upper hand.

“How much longer do you plan on sleeping?” Joshua kicked his little brother lightly. Not enough to hurt him, but just enough to wake him up. He rubbed the back of his head when Marcus did little more than roll over and continue snoring. “You asked for it.” Joshua made a quick trip to the ocean. Taking an empty canteen he filled it up with water. When he returned to the tent he stood over Marcus pouring out the water onto his little brother's face.

Marcus sat straight up when he felt the water on his face. A fine mist blew from his lips as he puffed out a quick breath of air through his lips. “What the fuck man?” Marcus dragged himself out of the tent. He wrung the water out of his hair before tying it back. He looked around. Most of the harems were already out and moving about. He must have been the last one sleeping. “Okay, let's get out of here.”

Marcus helped out with the packing there wasn't any way he was going to allow anyone to take care of his share of the slack when he had two perfectly good hands. There was some competition between him and Anahi. His new Alpha was insisting that he take it easy a bit, but she couldn't think of any remarks when he told her that his arm would get any stronger if he babied it all the time. “Which way you heading?”

Joshua hadn't been heading any way in particular, so he decided to stay with his brother for a while longer. “You wouldn't believe who I ran into while walking.” Joshua waited for Marcus to finish guessing. “I doubt you remember her, but I ran into Auntie O.” Joshua snickered. “Figured you wouldn't be able to remember her. She was the Denmother that couldn't stay away from you when you were younger. Pops was just getting out of the traveling game when he had me, and it was a few years before he had you or Chisha. By the time she came around we'd already moved to Woods.” Joshua pushed aside a tree branch so he could pass. There weren't to many guards, and the 'girls that they had out each were carrying spare pokéballs in case of ferals.

Marcus took the pokéballs that Haleigh handed to him. “What're these?”

Haleigh rotated her right shoulder, trying to get it to feel better. “I picked up a couple of girls for ya. I found a small den of Vixxens that went down easy before running off, and there were a couple of Kangasscunts that didn't belong to anyone. There was also a Joltina that was following you for some reason.” Haleigh had taken a Spike Canon at close range to her shoulder. She could still feel the small barbs digging into her skin, but when she ran her hands over the area there wasn't any sign of the barbs present.

Marcus nodded, adding them to the growing population. “Need a rest?” Marcus recalled Haleigh when she nodded her head. “Guess that leaves us without a scout.” Marcus wished that Rose was still around, better yet, still a Venuswhore. Her being able to almost pinpoint where there was someone moving around was sorely missed. Joshua must have tamed the Dao last night, because he was using her to watch for tremors in the earth. She was handy as well, even if they couldn't understand a word she was saying.

The day started growing short, causing the grasslands to turn a milky orange in coloration with the setting sun. They would have stopped for the night, but Mellody had reported that there were farms just ahead. Marcus and Joshua recalled all of their Pokégirls as they approached, hands raised as they crossed the fence. “Hello!” Marcus shouted out to get anyone's attention. It wasn't long before a rather busty Hound showed up and escorted them to the main house after making sure that they didn't take KATTLE. They received permission to stay in the barn. Several of Marcus's girls seemed to protest, but they were quickly signing a different tune once they all started taking a roll in the hay. To avoid each other, Joshua spent the night in a tent inside the barn.

“So, just another few hours before we get to town.” The farming community was roughly six hours southwest of Cameltoe. Traversing the mountains would be a challenge, especially since he couldn't simply fly over it any more. Haleigh seemed to be sure that she was strong enough to be able to carry all of them, as long as the harems were put up. Marcus hated to do it, but Joshua was bent on parting ways. There was a quick goodbye, as well as the swapping of Com-numbers, and Marcus found himself setting out alone.

“You know, I thought I was about to cry.”

“Shut up. What're you still followin' me for?” Marcus sighed as the Dire Wolf came out of hiding. He hadn't seen hide nor hair of her since Joshua showed up, and here she was back again. “I thought you left or something. You could find your own way back from here.” Marcus crawled below the electric fence.

“True, but I thought I'd stay here and protect you.” Isabelle shrugged. She didn't know why, but she still felt like she owed the guy. “And you didn't have to get in the way of that Chi attack. I was neutralizing it before you had to go an cause it to go and blow up.” Isabelle was touched that this tamer would put himself in jeopardy for a group of feral 'kits that he didn't know.

“Well excuse me. I didn't see you doin' anything, and I'll be damned if I let a bunch of little kids get hurt.” Marcus pulled the ball containing the Sayjin from his belt for a while before placing it back. He'd deal with her when they arrived in Cameltoe.

“Calm down.” Isabelle drifted silently along side him. She used her psionic powers to force away any pokégirls that tried to get close. She didn't mind when he released Anahi. She rather enjoyed the company of the Wolf Queen. The large lupine pokégirl didn't seem to mind the chatter either. Isabelle grew tired of waiting around for Marcus to reach Cameltoe. She needed to get to Bebja as quickly as possible. “Hold onto your lunch.” Isabelle carefully picked Anahi's pokéball off of Marcus belt with her psychokinesis, recalling her psionically. With the largest being safely tucked away back inside her pokéball, Isabelle had no problems levitating Marcus. She didn't mind when he released Haleigh. The Dragoness could fly on her own, and even better since she was carrying most of the packs.

Marcus felt odd zooming over the top of the landscape with nothing but air below him. He could see fields rushing past him as Isabelle created a psychic tow-rope that connected them all. Haleigh had the hardest time, she was the one pulling the two of them along behind her. While she was fast, she never went fast enough to damage him. The city of Cameltoe began to appear just on the end of the horizon, and before noon had past Marcus was already walking through the Police Station's doors to report the theft. It was another hour, and several scans by Isabelle and other police psychics, before Marcus was able to leave.

With the thefts reported, Marcus felt a little more at ease with himself. He no longer felt like he was just doing nothing about it. “Now, to take care of that Sayjin.” Marcus found a place that seemed to be like an arena in town. He pulled Serori's pokéball from his belt when he reached the building. When he entered he found his way to the weight room, knowing full well what he was going to do. Switching hands Marcus pulled out the rest of his harem and allowed them to work out to their heart's content. Serori, on the other hand, had a price to pay. “Well, I suppose you know what we're doin' here?”

Serori looked around. The weight room had dozens of girls working out, some of them lifting so much weight that the metal bars they were attached too seem to bend under the strain. “Yeah, we're here for a work out.”

“Wrong. They're here for a work out. You're here for blowing my arm off.” Marcus started with something that he knew Serori would be able to do, three hundred pushups. Marcus had her count them out, making it easy on the Sayjin by keeping track of them himself. When she finally reached three hundred she barely seemed tired. “Good. Now, give me another three hundred. This time I want you to clap when you come up, and then when you land I want you to flip your hands over.” Marcus demonstrated a few times. When he pushed up he did so enough that he was able to clap his hands before landing on his wrists. He lowered himself and then pushed off again to clap and land with his palms down. “Your turn.”

Serori didn't understand how a pushup could be so painful. She had barely reached the midpoint when her wrists started giving her problems, and by the time she had finished her wrists were on fire. 'What in the hell is he trying to do?' Serori keeled on both legs, rubbing one wrist after the other.

“Wrists hurt?” Marcus asked. He already knew that her pride wouldn't allow her to admit it. Marcus simply nodded and said 'Good,' when he heard her say no. “Then let's move on,” Marcus had her follow him to a corner. “Tail out,” Marcus ordered her to keep her tail unwrapped for the next bit. “Back to the wall.”

Serori fell forward into the resting position.

“Feet up on the wall.”

Serori growled as she scrunched backwards, her feet walking up the wall by her toes.

“Another three hundred,” Marcus counted as Serori began. She was going much slower than before. And despite telling her over and over she could quit if her wrists hurt to much, the Sayjin stayed true to her breed and refused to give in. Marcus nodded when she was done, sweat now starting to show visibly on her clothes. “Okay. You're almost done.” Marcus pulled her away from the wall. “Know how to do a handstand?” Marcus nodded when Serori nodded. “Good, saves time. You only get to do a hundred fifty of these,” Marcus said as he lowered his hands to the floor. Kicking his legs up he balanced himself before slowly lowering himself until he was perfectly level with the ground, the only part of his body touching the floor were his hands. Without making any more contact with the ground, Marcus pushed himself back up until he was vertical. He showed her a few more times before standing up. “Your turn.”

'You've got to be fuckin' kidding me!' Serori stared in disbelief at what she was being asked to do. Her pride told her that she could do it, especially if this human could. Serori got up on her hands, stabilizing herself as Marcus walked around to her face.

“Oh, if you fall or let any other part of your body touch the ground, you've gotta start them all over.” Marcus smiled as he saw the look on her face.

'You fucking bastard.' Serori slowly lowered herself until she was level-ish with the ground. She was raising herself up when she felt someone grab hold over her tail. Her arms gave out, dropping her on her face. “What the fuck are you doing you bastard!?” Serori carefully pulled her tail from the Tamer's grip.

“Hey, you blew my fucking. Arm. OFF.” Marcus crossed his arms before forcing her to continue. “You've got three sets to do, make sure you get 'em done.” Marcus walked off, telling Sonja to keep an eye on her. “When she's done, have her do leg presses for an hour, three fourths of her maximum weight.” Marcus started his own work out, doing whatever looked interesting to try.

Sonja didn't help Serori at all during the pushups. She couldn't resist grabbing the Sayjin's tail several times during the sets either. She soon grew bored just watching, so she joined in.

Serori was surprised that the other Monkey-like girl could do any of the pushups. She was having a hard time completing the sets, and with everyone grabbing her tail it was taking her forever to finish. She had to redo several sets over. Serori gratefully laid back on the leg press's bench. Serori didn't have any problems maxing out just a few hundred pounds shy of a ton. Her babysitter set the weight down roughly a quarter of the way from her max. Serori grunted a bit as she pushed up with her legs. The exhaustion she felt was beginning to take it's toll on her, and she had to do an hour of these?

Marcus grinned as he saw how exhausted Serori seemed. “So, how'd it go?” Marcus only laughed when Serori seemed to ignore him. “Good. Let's go.” Marcus recalled the harem scattered around the gym. There only one challenger that stopped him on the way back to the 'Center, and the poor boy seemed to be someone that'd just gotten their girl. The match was over before it'd barely begun, Anahi scaring the poor Catgirl so bad she fainted.

Once he got into the room he'd been assigned, Marcus released the harem. “Okay girls. I know you've already met before, but allow me to re introduce everyone. Ladies,” he presented Serori, “this is Kiki.” There was a stunned silence by everyone in the room. Marcus knew that all Sayjins were named after the Edo names for vegetables and some other foods, but it always seemed silly to him. Besides, he knew that the Sayjin wouldn't approve of it.

“WHAT!” Serori screamed at the top of her lungs. She reached out and grabbed Marcus by the shirt, ignoring the sudden action of the rest of the harem surrounding her.

“Unless you wanna wind up dead, I'd suggest letting him go right the fuck now.” Sasha's teeth were bared in a snarl. Anahi seemed to be much more intimidating, though she didn't have arcs of electricity jumping about her.

“I'll let go of this little piss ant as soon as he changes my fuckin' name. Kiki is no name for a Sayjin warrior.” Serori started lifting Marcus up, trying to intimidate him into doing what she wanted.

“And I might, just as soon as I see an actual Sayjin warrior, instead of a Sayjin coward.” Marcus's face grew stern. He pulled the knife from behind his back and cut away the part of his shirt Kiki had a hold on. “Grab her.” Marcus didn't even have to say it. As soon as he hit the floor Haleigh had put the Sayjin in a Full Nelson hold.

“I dare you to say that again without your girls holding me back.” Serori spit.

“Oh? So you don't like this? Funny. I thought this is how cowards like you operated.” Marcus placed the knife back in it's sheath. “You attacked an unprovoked feral. Normally I wouldn't mind, but in this case, you're in deep shit. That Feral wasn't being hostile, she was protecting her children. As soon as she saw that we meant no harm to her kids we were fine, but then you show up and start blasting away at her.” Marcus growled. “One of your attacks nearly killed her children. Is that what a Sayjin is? A bully who does nothing but attack a woman protecting her little girls?” Marcus could see the color drain from Kiki's face. “You want a proper name? You better fuckin' earn it.” Marcus stepped back. “Work her over, but not to much. I still want her conscious so she can reflect on what she did.”

Sasha cracked her knuckles as she stepped in front of Kiki. “Do yourself a favor. Accept your punishment with some dignity.” Sasha's fist crackled and glowed with an electric current as she drove her fist into the Sayjin's gut. There was the faintest hint of a scream on the Sayjin's lips, but it never rose to anything more than a grunt in volume. “You doin' okay there Hay?”

Haleigh nodded. “Yeah. I'm fine. You might wanna lay off the electricity though.” Haleigh's body still tingled from the attack. Haleigh continued to hold the struggling Sayjin as the harem took turns striking her. Sonja seemed to be the most brutal, striking her repeatedly with her staff. Anahi didn't hold back. Since the room was only large enough to accommodate her while not in her battle form, the Wolf Queen used other attacks. The Magic Fists she was dishing out almost threw the both of them across the room. Finally it was Haleigh's turn. Normally it'd be tough for Sasha to hold onto Kiki, but with the Sayjin battered and bruised she wasn't able to put up much of a fight.

Marcus wasn't a fan of this, but he remembered the stories his father told him about his mother when they were just beginning. Kiki was a lot like his mother when she first met his father. Proud, arrogant, and had a lust for battle. It didn't matter who it was, or what it was. Because of her battle lust it almost cost her her life when she tried to take on a Panthress. Kiki was going to learn when to fight, and when to run away. Hopefully his harem would be able to beat some sense in her. “Alright, enough.” Marcus recalled Kiki.

The tamings weren't all that spectacular that night, even when they took turns giving Marcus a show with Sonja's staff. Marcus admitted that he enjoyed the strip shows, but just remembering what he'd just put Kiki through. He knew that her wounds wouldn't worsen, but she could spend the entire night in pain to remember her lesson.

The morning light found Marcus explaining the situation to the Nurse Joy at the counter. Instead of having her ran through a healing cycle he paid the cost to having her healed with potions and other ways. It didn't cost much, and the price was worth it if she learned her lesson. Marcus retrieved the harem and took them out to eat, Kiki included. At first she seemed quiet, almost pissed off at what had happened last night, but with no one holding anything against her she began coming out of her shell. “Come on ladies. Time for practice.” Marcus was about to head out of town when his arm was grabbed by a rope.

“I challenge you for your Dragoness.”

Marcus cursed underneath his breath. He turned around to find another Tamer standing behind him. “Are you sure you wanna do this? I haven't exactly had the best time of my life the past few days.” Marcus tried to warn the guy, but the tamer just didn't listen. “Fine, but we're taking this away from town. I don't wanna pay for any property damage.” Marcus couldn't run. Cameltoe still had the Forfeiture laws in place. Marcus led the way out of town so they wouldn't cause to much damage. Marcus pulled his 'dex out, getting it set up to record the battle. How the guy even knew that he had Haleigh was beyond him. When both 'dexs were ready Marcus released Haleigh.

Haleigh popped her back as the tamer released his 'girl. “What in the world?” Haleigh hadn't ever seen a pokégirl like her before. The skin on the girl had a metallic sheen to it. It was odd, even odder once Haleigh noticed the her twin pig-tails were two different colors. Her entire head of hair was two different colors, her left side blue while the right side was red. Dual bars seemed drawn on her face under her eyes. “Marcus, what is she?”

“She's a Maggieton,” Marcus answered after checking his 'dex. “Watch out. She's got three personalities, and who knows who she is.” Marcus had heard that they were a bit crazy, then again he'd heard the same said about him. And he only had one personality.

Haleigh nodded. She started warming up as the Maggieton started floating. Haleigh studied the girl, she seemed almost reluctant to attack, which meant that the assault would have to begin with her. Haleigh rushed forward, claws ready to strike. Haleigh was stopped when she ran into a large rotating triangle of orbs. Electricity visibly connected the three together, preventing her from closing in. 'What the fuck?' Haleigh backed away from the spinning triangle. When she tried to go through it there was something in her way. She shook the tingling sensation from her arm, only to miss the orb the size of a pokéball zooming at her face. Haleigh was going to have a headache from the number of times the orb hit her in the face.

'This ain't good,' Marcus thought as he watched Haleigh getting manhandled. That Maggieton's barrier was preventing Haleigh from getting to close, and that single orb was zooming around the field to fast for Haleigh or anyone else had a hard time following.

Haleigh was starting to be able to keep track of the sphere. Her eyesight was pretty good, it had to be in order to be able to see while flying at high speeds. She batted the sphere back with a strong swipe of her tail, rushing forward to take advantage of the delay in attack. She shifted right when a large bolt of lightning came arching her way. She managed to get behind the Maggieton, though the shield still stayed between them. Using Agility Haleigh increased her speed, following it up with Double Team. Haleigh's double was doing just what she wanted, confusing the Maggieton. The barrier began to orbit around the Maggieton, trying to decide which one was the real threat. Even escaping into the air didn't help, Haleigh following after her with ease.

Marcus sighed in relief. Haliegh was keeping the Maggieton confused with Double Team, and wearing her out with Dragonbreath. It took a while, but the Maggieton seemed to be growing weaker and weaker. Her shield wasn't as fast as it used to be, and the fourth orb that was previously pelting Haleigh senseless was now bein' used to reinforce the barrier.

Haleigh hoped this trick would work. She started building up all the energy she could in her chest. Using Quick Attack she was able to get above the floating metal girl. Haleigh released all the pent up energy in a single blast, the Hyper Beam engulfing the Maggieton completely. When the energy was spent the Maggieton was lying motionless at the bottom of a crater in the ground. Haleigh was to tired to continue flying after the attack, which lead to a rough landing next to the crater. She waited for a few seconds that seemed to last a lifetime as she regained her energy in case the Maggieton wasn't down for good.

“You win. Take her, and good riddance.”

Marcus caught the pokéball that was thrown at him. He recalled the Maggieton, placing the ball in the furthest slot on his belt. He recalled Haleigh as well, letting the Dragoness rest after a well deserved victory. Marcus continued until he finally reached the river. There didn't seem to be anyone around, which meant that he didn't have to worry about dealing with anyone challenging him for his harem. When the harem was fully released, he released Kiki. “So, you gonna charge off again and pick a fight with the next feral you see?” Marcus leaned forward when he heard Kiki mumble something under her breath. “What was that? I couldn't hear you.”

“I said no.”

“Good. Now, how about some practice? It's something you might like. It's all combat.” Marcus swore to all of the Thousand that Kiki practically shone with delight. “Don't think I'm just gonna be sitting on my butt either, I'm joining in as well.” Marcus placed the Maggieton's ball in the PPHU before beginning. To keep the field just a bit more fair, Marcus was the only one to carry a weapon other than claws and fangs. The Gauntlet training was just what he needed to get in good graces with Kiki. By the time the practice was over the Sayjin was practically swooning over him like a love-drunk Vixxen.

Marcus had to admit it, Kiki was quite the looker. For some reason, her hair didn't spike upwards like the typical Sayjin's. Her brunette hair fell down like the rest of the world's. Her skin was a soft mocha color, much like that of a 'kapoeraa's. Her skin was stretched across her toned body, leaving her lean looking with still some softness to her look. Her breasts seemed a bit small when compared to that of the rest of the harem. If Marcus had to guess, it was that her breasts were barely a C in size. Her eyes were light and gray, with her right eye being constantly hidden by her hair whenever she failed to keep it pushed aside. She was taller than him, like all the rest. She stood almost tall enough to look haleigh in the eyes, and his Dragoness was roughly six-foot-seven. Marcus knew that her hair had to be her natural color, unless the Sayjin had grown accustomed to dying the fur on her tail as well as the hair on her head.

“Where did you learn to fight like that?” Kiki asked as she sat in Marcus's lap. Leaning forward she draped her arms around her new Master's neck, kissing the side of his face softly.

“You serious? Josh never told you that we're dojo brats?” Marcus questioned the confused look on Kiki's face when she leaned back. “The two of us grew up in a dojo. My mother's a Sayjin, just like you. Hell, his is a War Hound.” Marcus judged that by the stunned look on Kiki's face she had no idea of Joshua's heritage. “Did he teach you any martial arts?” Marcus groaned when Kiki shook her head. “Okay, get off. You're training right now. Sonja! Get her started with Muay Thai. She should be able to do that one pretty easy. Don't work her to hard though, she's bein' welcomed tonight.” Marcus slipped out of Kiki's grasp. “Okay, time to meet the other new one.” Marcus retrieved the 'ball containing the Maggieton. It had long since finished the healing cycle, leaving the ball and box just sitting there. “Sasha, I want you with me just in case.” Marcus had no idea what the personality was going to be like with the Maggieton, and unless it was the one he fought, then she wouldn't know why there was a stranger standing before her. Marcus took a deep breath and released the girl.

The Maggieton looked around when she materialized. The first thing that she noticed was that she was all alone with a Tamer and his Harem. “You fuckin' coward.” Her right hand shot out, the Thunderbolt firing at the Tamer. The bolt arched the wrong way, getting drawn towards the large black furred cat standing next to him.

“Cool the jets. I won you fair and square in a battle.” Marcus threw his hands up in surrender. Just his luck, getting stuck with a hostile personality. “Can we talk?”

“Let your fists do the talking.” The Maggieton rushed forward on her own legs, preparing to punch the hell out of the man. She threw a wild haymaker that the man seemed to effortlessly dodge. “Stop running away and fight you bastard.”

“Seriously, what is it with everyone thinking I'm a bastard or a coward lately?” Marcus asked no one in particular. He didn't have to worry about retaliating however, Sasha did that for him. The black feline brought a heavy right hand down on top of the girls head. The girl's attention was switched from him to her with the hit, leaving him safe for the moment. Marcus recalled the pissed off Maggieton, resolving to tame her later once he was sure she could be restrained properly.
