This breed is not recorded being in any combative, support, or capture records from the Revenge war. However, it is thought that these 'girls may not have been captured or seen by human forces, and the admittedly incomplete documentation from the time therein may have caused record of their existence to have been lost. This breed was first discovered in 20 AS as a group of ferals congregating in a veritable ghost town, a leftover relic from the time before Sukebe turned the world upside down.

The Rooder itself is an extremely mild case of the most basic of Very Near Human traits. She may vary within many of the standard norms for human women of her ethnic, regional, upbringing, and societal status. In a very, very literal sense; they are so close to being human that it is nearly impossible to tell the difference between a Rooder and a human woman, until they must fight or a pokedex is used. However, albinism does seem to find its way into this breed’s phenotype more so than other breeds for as of yet unknown reasons. This yet again can get the Rooder confused, if not for a human, just another breed entirely by the unwary tamer.

The Rooder naturally seeks out ghost-types and with her natural resistances to ghost attacks is an ideal pokegirl for capturing many ghosts if outfitted with the right equipment. It is because of this that they are believed to have been used by Sukebe to track down his incorporeal spies and to hunt down the wayward ones. This feat of ghosthunting is accomplished with what has been dubbed a 'ghost sense'. It is a natural sixth sense of theirs to sniff out the presence of otherwise incorporeal and often invisible ghost-types. They also tend to fixate on the hunt for ghost-types and get restless or impatient when not working towards it in some manner. When questioned on the subject there is often a lengthy pause in thought. Then the question is replied to with a near ubiquitous, 'I have to?' in a questioning tone that worries some researchers. It is unknown if this is a genetically programmed compulsion, an instinct, or something more sinister. And only more study can truly find out.

As stated previously, Rooder are often fairly restless 'girls if in one place too long. This, along with the ability to both see and bind unknown phenomena (typically with the help of the Binding Arrow technique) they almost always wish to be on the move. Which happens to be an odd upside to these 'girls, just the simple fact that they are every bit as impetuous and adventurous as their instincts and special senses make them. Making these girls fairly good for the starting tamer, along with being a rather common celestial-leaning girl to boot. There is a downside to the breed; however. It happens to be the case that most Rooders see things that others cannot. Sometimes this is a ghost-type pokegirl; other times there is no evidence of anything. They often claim these things they are seeing to be more ghostly entities and take offense when they are openly disbelieved or worse yet, chided for seeing "non-existent" things. This is attributed by researchers to be a false-positive for ghost-type pokegirls but many humans as well as the vast majority of Rooders believe there to be some sort of paranormal significance to these phenomena that only the Rooders can see. Because of this, Rooders tend to gravitate towards superstitious individuals socially.

However, along with the restlessness issue, Rooder are, also, a breed that prefers men to women. There are, of course; always exceptions to the rule, although few and far in between. And, there are also quirks in the Rooder’s taming that compound on a few other problems with their personaly. The first of which, involves heavy, woolen jumpsuits. The second, is fairly large majority's love of anal sex. Why this is seems to be under some conjecture as most tests involving reasons are inconclusive or false positive. It is thought to be a defect in the nerve tissue within their bodies as of the most recent testing. It may not be simply a fetish for some of the breed, it becomes the ‘end all’ of sexual acts and the claims of the Rooder in question to be able to tame them better. While one may not expect this to be an issue, it may become one if the Rooder refuses to engage in any other act. But like many other facets of a pokegirl’s personality; can be corrected or even quashed entirely if given to the correct taming cycle.

Combat for the Rooder is very much a battle of control of the field and wearing the opponent down. They are not the best combative girl around in terms of tournament style beat downs. As fairly speedy combatants and having a predilection and capability to summon ranged weaponry- distance is key. Tactics that are common involve usng binding arrow to catch an enemy on terrain while peppering them with lesser arrows. As it requires heavy training to learn more of the much more powerful techniques, most Rooder do not have the capability to actually be anymore than a battlefield controller. A role that, because of binding arrow, they excell at. Infernal and Ghost trainers beware, their technique set is uniquely suited to fighting these harems and they are not able to be fooled by any invisibility a Ghost or Infernal may use.

Feral Rooders are extremely aggressive and territorial creatures. They tend to gather around bizarre areas with no real rhyme or reason. There is no real current understanding of what draws the Rooder to these areas. They never seem to leave oddball areas except to find food and water or sometimes shelter if the climate takes a turn for the worse. In more dilapidated areas, Rooder will congregate in old ruins from towns that have been overrun by ferals and abandoned or far older places. Some of these areas are associated with “haunts” and local legends but these are but a fraction of the utterly bizarre places feral Rooders will find themselves in.

Sometimes when a group of feral Rooder capture a human or other quarry, rather than using them for food or sex as is the normal way of ferals, they will sometimes be kept as live captives until such a time where the Rooder kill them and yet do not consume them. This behavior is currently under study and is not well understood. This is enough to warrant a warning to tamers to not believe what they see, as one feral Rooder is likely not alone.

Uncertainty is the shroud that makes the Rooder's threshold one of the more 'insidious' of the Very Near Human-style pokegirls. Little, if anything, changes. Their eyes may get wider or narrower; hips may flare a bit; noses set and lips plump. But; rarely will the change be notable. As such, they run the gamut of human appearance with no two being exactly the same, cultural and regional differences in dress and clothing are applied to this as well. As such, there is no true and tried standardized look that can be immediately obvious. The most notable problems during threshold will often be an increase in appetite, joint pain, nosebleeds, and hemorrhaging of the eye. All of which are congruent with several breeds’ thresholds, along with normal injuries that can occur within the home and are not a sure fire way to tell the threshold of a Rooder.
