Cherries are notoriously difficult pokegirls to keep from evolving via an Orgasm evolution, though for the few tamers who can manage to evolve the healer pokegirl into her normal evolution find a strong celestial fighter added to their harems. Rarely seen during the war of revenge, it is believed that the Juniper, sometimes called the Thorne Slut, was utilized among the numbers of plant types as a field commander. These fighting plant types were powerful martial battlers, though the breed tended to focus on more defensive maneuvers. In the modern era, these Celestials are used in fighting harems, League militaries, and in the private sector as bodyguards.

While a small increase in height is sometimes noted, very little changes for this plant breed in regards to appearance. The unique scents of the Cherry sometimes fade upon evolution, though the Juniper always loses their lactation. Some tamers have reported that the breed tends to look more muscular, though this may be attributed to the plant types more active lifestyle with fighting and training. While the breed remains physically the same, their abilities and outlook change focus.

Most members of the breed lose their introverted tendencies, often becoming completely opposite in personality. As such this breed is known for their extroverted natures, as most Junipers are unafraid of meeting new strangers or becoming accustomed to new Tamers and harem sisters. Coupled with this is a new found protective streak, the breed almost instinctively protects those weaker than herself (though this is dependent on her own personal perceptions of who is weak). This drive to protect those weaker than herself makes this celestial a popular choice among wealthy pure bloods who require body guards.

As a breed, the Juniper has no distinct fighting style. This is due to individuals using their knowledge and aptitude for any form of close combat to train themselves in fighting. While this can include the use of swords, any form of melee fighting can and likely has been used at some point by one or more individuals of the breed. The single head vine remains for the breed and many use this vine to grapple, and a rare few have been noted to develop a triple weapon fighting style.

An unsubstantiated rumor tells of how more prudish Celestials started the nickname of Thorne Slut to the Juniper pokegirl, as these plant types take a more Elysian attitude to taming. While not as shunned at the self proclaimed 'Sexlestial' pokegirl, some Celestials do look down upon this plant type, as the breed has even been found in the Sex Battle circuits. Some of the breed try different positions with their Tamer as often as they can, to better try and enjoy the taming as well as to exercise.

Unlike many Celestials, the Juniper's connection to the cosmic awareness is dulled, the breed often only feeling a sense of certain actions being good or bad. This guesswork is often a source of frustration with the breed, and reactions to the more thorough visions range from jealousy to reliance should they share a harem with another celestial. Many members of the breed dislike the enigmatic and cryptic answers that some Celestials give, believing those pokegirls to be squandering their gifts and endangering lives needlessly.

Ferals are more common in tropical areas, though the breed does show a tolerance for more temperate climates. Like the Cherry's feral state, Junipers are not animalistic, however the breed does lose track of time easily and finds focusing on complicated tasks difficult. This fighting plant breed is often found in small groups, called Communes, tending gardens and training. Often Cherries are found within the group, and any attempt to capture any member of the group is met with the full fighting force of the Commune. This breed can be overpowered with Fire or Ice types, though more liberal tamers have found that bargaining for or convincing a member of the commune to join their harem is often met with success.

Threshold directly into this celestial breed is very rare, though not unheard of. Sharp headaches in the area of the head vine and slowly changing hair colors are the only symptoms of threshold, which takes an average of a week to complete. Thresholders are often prized in the private sector for body guards and assistants, as most thresholders have at least a partial education.
