Used mainly in colder regions during the Revenge War, the evolved form of the Rhynodame quickly earned a reputation for devastation and their ability to withstand heavy blows. Used in the modern era as heavy cold weather transport, the Coldonta is able to push aside heavy snow and ice to create large pathways in deep winter conditions. This living snowplow is a useful battler, and many tamers who are willing to keep a Rhynodame enjoy the benefits of this arctic rock pokegirl when they evolve.

Like their previous form, the Coldonta have a taming and a battle form, though their taming form takes on a much greater range of variability upon evolution. Human appearing members of the breed exchange their slate grey hair for winter colors, whites, blues, and occasionally a near transparent ice-like clear. Their skin tones, like their previous form, run the gamut of human tones, making them hard to distinguish from human women. This breed is also split into more animalistic looking taming forms, those sporting anything from rhino ears, odd skin tones, to slight or full muzzles and large prominent horns from their foreheads (or on the bridge of the muzzle for more animalistic types). On average, the breed gains about a foot in height and a cup size in bust, though it tends to stay proportional to the rest of their bodies.

The battle form of the breed is impressive, averaging 9 feet in height as their lower bodies expand into the quadruped body of a white rhinoceros. The breed tend to keep their upper torso's appearance in their battle form, though it does considerably expand to be proportional to their new lower body. In their battle form, this icy breed tends to feel cold to the touch, unlike their taming form, which is more human in temperature. The Coldonta's voice sometimes deepens in this battle form, adding to the intimidation factor that the breed is known for.

Unlike many ice types, this rhino breed is just as compulsive and competitive as their previous form, making them one of the more emotional ice and rock types. Most are able to temper their compulsive nature with time, though others become even worse at flying into action before thinking things through. Due to their immense strength, this makes them a poor choice for more delicate jobs, though the breed is surprisingly gentle and patient around children.

The dermal plating of the breed in battle mode is extremely tough, though the overall durability of the pokegirl makes the Coldonta breed hard to damage. This icy rhino breed uses their durability and strength to their advantage in battle, wading in and taking blows until they can land a solid (and often battle ending) hit. For fast pokegirls, the breed tends to box them in with rock walls before sniping their foe down with ice beams. If caught unprepared in their battle mode, this tundra pokegirl is easier to take out, though when attacked the breed's first reaction is to transform. Depending on the level of an individual's compulsiveness, the breed may or may not attack pokegirls with an elemental advantage, though if ordered to, this rhino pokegirl attacks without hesitation and fights until she can no longer stand.

Like the Rhynodame, Coldonta need restraints in the taming room, as the breed sometimes lose control of their strength. Due to their compulsive nature, tamer's shouldn't be tempted to engage in spur of the moment tamings with this impetuous breed, at least not without proper precautions. Unlike the breed's previous evolution, these ice types do not have dulled senses in either form, and are quite content with any form of clothing, taming equipment, or bedding. Caution should be advised for those experimental enough to attempt to tame this tauric breed in their battle form, as they require salves to tame without injury. Their taming form, as stated previously, is safe at just below normal human temperatures.

Wild Coldonta move in family herds, though unlike their more temperate pre-evolution, this breed prefers the cold. It is noted that ferals are stuck in their battle mode until the ambient temperature reaches above 85 degrees Fahrenheit. After this temperature is reached, the breed reverts to their taming form, making taming ferals a less daunting prospect due to their decreased size and increased temperature.

Becoming a Coldonta directly is very rare, though one of the easier transformations for a thresholder. Chills followed by a rapid drop in temperature render the thresholder unconscious, where the transformation into the breed's battle form quickly takes place over the course of 24 hours. Afterward, the new pokegirl awakens, able to return to her taming mode, which often only has a change of hair color to note them as pokegirls.
