Succubi were originally designed by Sukebe to be spies that would infiltrate the Human Forces of the Revenge War. The breed was created to range from any size, hairstyle, eye color, breast size, etc. Due to the breed’s Youthful enhancement, Succubi will retain their young appearance, though this enhancement may not take effect for many years, due to the breed’s Longevity. In other words, some Succubi may appear to be in their late teens, whereas some will appear to be in their mid-twenties. Aside from normal human attributes, there are two things that distinguish a Succubus from an extremely attractive human female. The first thing is their wings, which are somewhat bat-like in appearance. The second characteristic is a set of horns. The size and location of these horns can vary, but are usually located either on the top of the Succubus’s head or near their temples. The size of these horns can range from being small nubs to just under one foot in length. The breed is indeed a Flying-type, though they do not seem to be able to sustain flight without flapping their wings. They generally do not use their wings for flying, but to entrapment victims to either feed on their life force or to begin a taming session. It should also be noted that the span of their wings also tend to vary, though the average is proportionate to the Succubus's height.

Succubi are almost unbearably condescending towards anyone that has not earned their respect, especially those who are easily taken in by their allure. Their dress and manner is almost always provocative and attire that is very revealing is quite common for the breed, making them seem very inviting at a glance. However, once someone has failed to impress a Succubus, they generally turn vicious, sadistically abusing the "offending" person verbally (and sometimes physically) while flaunting her superiority. Oddly enough, this does not mean the Succubus will turn down an offer for a taming. The breed’s reputation as sex fiends is well deserved; few people who approach one looking for taming are actually turned away. Though the breed could be considered promiscuous, their condescending attitude also extends to the bedroom and it is rare when a Succubus will choose to be submissive. This attitude especially extends to her tamer and harem sisters in most cases. Until they earn her respect, she will generally turn any encounter they attempt to initiate into a session into dominating them thoroughly. Should a tamer able to gain her respect, the Succubus will have nothing but contempt to submit to them. Succubi tend to get along well enough with other dominating Pokégirls, at least until they fail to impress her.

There is a more appealing side to the Succubus's attitude. Should their tamer manage to earn a Succubus’s respect (this is usually done by forcing one to submit in the bedroom), her world view shifts to place him above herself and her contempt. The Succubus will still look down on others and will often instigate conflict by glorifying her master through ridiculing others. Though this may seem troublesome to modest Tamers, this is to be considered a sign of the breed’s extreme loyalty. It should be noted that since the revelation that Succubi evolve from Daimon through a Dusk Stone, Daimons who respect their tamers prior to the evolution are generally much easier to bring into line than those who have not.

When it comes to fighting, Succubi are fairly decent combatants. Not only are they fast and capable of learning a wide array of techniques, but their endurance that sustains them for hours on end in intimate affairs also allows them to last for quite some time in combat. As far as a Succubus’s actual battling style goes, there is not a standard to speak of. The main thing that the breed shares amongst themselves is a sadistic tendency on their opponents. On a related note, Succubi and Demonesses do not get along well, with both breeds tending to be extremely passionate about fights in their own ways. In the case of the Succubi (who see Demonesses as both annoyingly serious and as inferiors who need to learn their place), this resentment is generally manifested by attempting to turn the physical fight into a sex battle, which both allows them to use their abilities more effectively and to humiliate the Demonesses. Should the Succubus win a fight against an opponent in a one-on-one match, they will generally initiate a taming session. This is due to the breed wanting their defeated opponent to completely submit to them. Should the Succubus lose the match, she will generally become sulky and more vicious than usual in an attempt to reaffirm her superiority. It is rare to see a Succubus accept the loss of a battle humbly.

It is almost impossible to create an accurate description of the breed's taming style without having several volumes of material when one was finished, so a much shortened version much be presented. Succubi are considered by some to be sex fiends, sex experts, and perhaps even sexual connoisseurs, with their bodies designed to accommodate most sexual acts. Aside from having an array of sexual techniques and flexibility, Succubi literally require sex to live… or rather, the energy the act creates. Using a somewhat modified version of the Energy Drain technique, a Succubus takes in this sexual energy during taming to sustain herself, which is likely one of the reasons that the breed is so fond of sex. This technique is not at all detrimental to the Succubus’s taming partner and the extraction of said sexual energy generally results in being a bit more tired than normal afterward.

Feral Succubi are almost unheard of, but not impossible to find. The breed actively seek out taming to attain their needed energy and since they can be a bit brutal towards those preventing them from obtaining their dietary needs, it is recommended that Tamers who encounter a feral Succubus simply allow themselves to be tamed and capture the feral once they go into taming shock. So far, there have been no recorded cases of thresholding into a Succubus.
