“Chandra use Fire.” The magical flames flew from Chandra’s hands and quickly engulfed the Ladyba. Her attempts to fly off only managed to stir the dust on the ground as a pokeball hit her on the back and immediately fell silent on the ground with the Ladyba inside.
“Good work Chandra your getting faster at using Fire coming out of a Shadow Teleport.” Jack took the pokeball from Chandra and rewarded her with a deep kiss.
“Though I really wish we could find some more valuable ferals around here, the best we’ve seen so far is a Mossmelon.”
Jack placed the pokeball into his pokepack and Chandra took point leading the way through the woods her eyes able to see a path even in the darkness of a moonless night.
They continued hiking through the forest in silence attempting to find more ferals to capture. More than 30 minutes passed before Chandra suddenly stopped her sensitive ears twitching at a sound unheard by Jack.
“Master there is a fight going on up ahead, there are two of them and one seems to be wounded.” Chandra quietly whispered to Jack awaiting his orders.
“Continue forward, we’ll see what is fighting and hopefully capture them both.”  Jack followed in Chandra’s shadow keeping as quiet as possible to avoid bringing attention to themselves.
The dense trees abruptly ended giving way to a large clearing covered in grass. On the opposite edge of the clearing an Ulupi was being attacked by an Arachnae and appeared to have lost the fight. Half covered in webbing with two puncture wounds oozing a purple liquid the Ulupi was struggling to get away from the Arachnae that was waiting for her to succumb to the poison.
“Shadow Teleport and use Fire on the Arachnae.” Chandra quickly faded into the shadows surrounding them before reappearing behind the Arachnae.
Focused only on her prospective meal the Arachnae didn’t sense Chandra was there until the Fire spell hit her on the back. She whirled around to confront her new attacker and was rewarded with a Thunder spell to the face sending her to the ground in convulsions.
Jack threw two pokeballs out and each of the pokegirls disappeared into one. The Arachnae’s went silent after a single shake but the Ulupi’s continued to rock before finally going quiet after the 5 shake.
“Another excellent job Chandra. The Arachane should fetch a good price but the Ulupi is the real prize. Even as battered as she was she still fought and with some training and a dusk stone eventually there will be a powerful Nidhogg in the harem.” Jack smiled rolling the pokeball in his hand and feeling it’s weight. “We’ll set up camp here and have Lilith teleport us back to the pokecenter in Viridick to heal and tame our new addition.”
Jack was no stranger to teleportation but he still found it jarring that he would suddenly end up somewhere completely different then where he started without even feeling the trip.
After shaking off the shiver that always ran through him after a trip much to Lilith’s amusement. He entered the pokecenter thanking the fact that they operated 24 hours a day.  The lobby was empty save for a single NurseJoy on duty and Jack headed directly for her.
“I would like a healing cycle for all three  and a level 3 taming cycle for the Ulupi please.” Jack said recalling Lilith before handing over his pokedex and the pokeballs containing his current harem to the NurseJoy behind the counter.
“Alright I’ll have them out in just a few minutes.” She placed the pokeballs in a complicated looking machine who’s lights started blinking rapidly after being turned on. His pokedex went into a slot built into her computer and she began typing. “You are aware that you currently exceed the limit on the number of pokegirls you are allowed to carry don’t you?”
“I plan to transfer the excess girls while the Ulupi is in the taming cycle.” The machine gave a single ding and half of the lights shut off with the remaining ones blinking ever faster to make up for them.
The Joy grabbed two of the pokeballs from the machine and handed them back to Jack. “The healing cycle has finished, the taming cycle will be another 15 minutes though.”
Using the only spell he knew Jack sent the pokeballs into subspace before heading to the pokecenter’s transfer terminal.  Signing into his account with the Bittatits Ranch he quickly arranged for the sale of all the pokegirls he had caught excluding the Ulupi. Since most of them were common and easy to catch pokegirls he only received 40,000 SLC for all 10, the Mossmelon and Arachnae bringing in half of the total.
“Sir your pokegirls are ready now.” The NurseJoy called just as we was finished setting up the pokecenter transporter to send the pokegirls to the ranch.
“Can I also get a room please, taming in the wild doesn’t have quite the same appeal as a bed I’m afraid.” Jack asked receiving a pokeball and a key from the Joy.
He walked down the dimly lit hall passing a door that had been left open a crack and cries of pleasure could be heard. He finally got to his assigned room and sat on the bed weighing his options for taming the Ulupi. Finally deciding he released Chandra into the room.
“The Ulupi was pretty energetic out in the forest, I need you to help and make sure I don’t get attacked. Feel free to join in the fun though I wouldn’t want you to feel left out.” Jack said cupping her chin as he finished talking.
He released the Ulupi into the room watching her coalesce back into being. She was on the small side for an Ulupi only 9 feet long with only 3 feet above the waistline. Her body was colored in various shades of green mostly in the area of forest green.  Her ‘wings’ were spread showing their full 4 foot span and had what looked like a golden eye patterned on each. A lack of clothes showed her breasts to be a pleasant looking handful.
She sat there eyeing Jack and Chandra as they returned the favor. Liking what he saw he stalked over to her before drawing her into a kiss. “Jessica.” He said after breaking the kiss for air. “You will be Jessica.” He bent down and kissed her again before Chandra joined in and the taming began in earnest.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Not being able to sleep meant Jack had 24 hours a day to devote to training. Each one of his girls had 6 hours set aside specifically for them with two hours each day dedicated to learning how to fight as a team. The intense training showed with both Chandra and Lilith doubling in level after their week in the forest was almost up. Having joined halfway through Jessica didn’t gain quite as many as the other two.
Jessica’s transition into the harem went quickly. Outside of battle she showed the timidity her breed was known for. Lilith’s position as alpha went unquestioned and even Chandra’s position of being above her in the harem went uncontested. Jack was disappointed at how little spine she was showing following any order given and only talking in the rare instance where it was actually required.
His disappointment faded during her first battle though. Discovering another Mossmelon near camp Jack let Jessica fight on her own without instruction to see how she did. She became incredibly aggressive using Lance to spear her opponent before using Takedown unmindful of taking a lot of damage in return, relying on Grass Floor and Regenerate to keep herself healthy.
“Yes you will do well indeed.” Jack said to himself as Jessica defeated another Cutiepie.

“Alright ladies it actually took us 8 days to get here rather than the 7 I originally thought it would but here we are only 15 miles from Pewtit City.” Getting closer to Pewtit meant the feral encounter rate began to slow and the forest began to thin. Deciding to forgo the standard training in favor of getting to Pewtit faster Jack had Jessica and Lilith out as they started to finish the hike to Pewtit.
“You there, I challenge you to a 1 on 1 pokegirl battle with no substitutions for salvage.” Was suddenly called out from just ahead of them on the patch they were following.
The other Tamer came running up to Jack followed by a resigned looking Spinnertit behind him.
“I am Ryan Ervil and I will win your Succubus.” Ervil appeared to be roughly the same age as Jack at 16 and only having 2 pokeballs on him seemed to be new to taming as well.
“Very well, as required by Indigo Law I accept your challenge.” Jack said calmly turning his pokedex on to the record function so as to clear him of any potential liability. “As you made the challenge, named the terms, and named the prize it is only fair that you choose your pokegirl first.”
“Pinchy, I choose you.” Ervil called showing his lack of naming skill and creativity as he released a Pinchit into the forest.
“Chandra.” Jack released the Dark Elf before gesturing to Lilith and Jessica to remain on guard for ferals attracted by the noise a battle would make.
The Pinchit was 6’3” with a massive horn and armor made of chitin. Judging from the growling he could hear Jack thought she also showed the rage her breed was known for. In a strong dichotomy Chandra stood on the opposite side of the makeshift battlefield calmly surveying her opponent.
“Pinchy take down.” Ervil suddenly called starting the fight in earnest. While certainly strong Pinchit were not known for their speed. “Chandra, wait until she gets close and then use Shadow Teleport and Back Stab together.” Jack said in a low voice counting on her enhanced hearing so as to avoid the other tamer finding out his strategy.
It worked perfectly, the Pinchit barreling forward suddenly found her target nowhere near her and careened into the dirt from her built up momentum. Taking advantage of the moment Chandra Shadow Teleported back into the fight behind the downed Pinchit and stabbed her twice with a blade of psychic energy.
The Pinchit’s armor prevented the worst of the damage to her back but the second strike hit her on her upper thigh, a thin spot in the armor to allow for flexibility. Roaring in anger the Pinchit stood up trying to knock the Dark Elf off of her and into an attackable range. She was too late as Chandra had already jumped off and stood 10 meters away awaiting further orders.
Bleeding steadily from the wound to her back and mobility severely limited by the injured leg the Pinchit was thrashing around in a rage trying to reach the cause of her pain.
Ervil tried to issue orders to the Pinchit but she wouldn’t listen through her rage.
“Come on Pinchy fight, kill that Dark Elf.” Her name managed to pierce the fog over her mind caused by the combination of pain and rage making her redouble her efforts to reach Chandra having closed the gap between them to 3 meters but leaving behind a trail of thick red blood during the attempt.
Even knowing there was no chance of it successfully happening someone trying to order the death of one of his girls brought the beginnings of a fiery rage on Jack.
“Chandra, Back Stab again aim for her knees.” Jack said without emotion trying to suppress the rage coursing through him.
Without a sound she disappeared from sight and reappeared behind the Pinchit, forming another blade of psychic energy she stabbed through the Pinchit’s left knee cutting through most of the ligaments and leaving the lower half of her leg hanging by a thread.
“Only immediate help can save your Pinchit from permanent damage now, do you yield?” Seeing the other tamer staying silent he called out again “There is only so much more Chandra can do without it being immediately fatal, even if she does nothing your ‘Pinchy’ will bleed out soon.”
The calm manner with which Jack foretold his girls death and the smirking image of Chandra, hands stained with blood convinced Ervil. He recalled the Pinchit, who even now minutes away from bleeding to death continued to flail trying to get to Chandra.
Crossing the distance between them Jack took care to step over the grass soaked in blood. Coming up to the tamer still standing still with his Spinnertit behind him, Jack held out his hand. Coming out of his daze Ervil looked at the proffered hand and snorted saying “I won’t shake your hand, monster.” He grabbed the Spinnertits hand and started to walk away when Jack called “I’m sad that you won’t shake my hand but that isn’t why I offered it, the battle was for salvage and you have lost. I want your Spinnertit as my prize.” He continued to hold out his hand waiting for the pokeball.
Ervil sneered and batted Jacks hand away. “Too bad, I need her now that my only other pokegirl is so injured thanks to you.” He continued to walk away and Jack felt the rage return and he was unable to control it. He snapped an elbow hitting Ervil in the back of the head taking him down in a single blow. The Spinnertit spun around only to find Chandra in front of her and was wrapped in her Rune Chain before being recalled into her pokeball by Jack.
He stood in the middle of the field the Spinnertit’s pokeball in hand breathing deeply trying to quell the rage. Lilith came up behind him and drew him against herself to help him calm down. Several minutes later he finally calmed down enough to think clearly.
“We’re almost to Pewtit let’s move out.” Jack said stepping out of Lilith’s embrace in order to head for the forest’s exit. They left behind an unconscious Tamer, face first in the blood spilt by his Pinchit’s loss.

Forest gave way to grass and grass gave way to rocky plain. Pewtit city was known for their rock types and the area around city gave credence to that claim.
Originally a played out quarry Pewtit had expanded through the years by using earth and rock type pokegirls to carve more room. The path from Viridick forest however is the original narrow path that once led into the quarry. At the edge of town the road from Viridick begins a steep 30 degree decline carving through the walls of rock marking the perimeter of the town. Here both a pokecenter and a police station stood.
The pokecenter was built when it was realized that most Tamers came in to town through Viridick and by placing the pokecenter there the Tamers had easier access to healing and a place to stay. That it cut down on the inevitable property damage when you had multiple pokegirls in one place was left unsaid. A police station was built across from the pokecenter when it was realized that being out of the town proper just made the inevitable clashes more destructive.
Jack approached the pokecenter accompanied only by Jessica in order to avoid the Tamers that might want to challenge him for a rare pokegirl like a Succubus. He could still decline a salvage battle for the rest of the day as a result of the battle with Ervil but it was far easier to just avoid the battles to begin with.
Well acquainted with the procedure by now Jack handed his pokeballs and pokedex to the NurseJoy on duty and sat down to relax and wait for them to be healed.
A sense of foreboding suddenly came over Jack after a few minutes of waiting as he saw an OfficerJenny and her Growlie enter the pokecenter.
I’m fairly certain this won’t end well Jack thought to himself as the two went up to the counter and began conversing with the Joy. He soon proved his worth as a fortune teller as the Joy pointed him out and the two walked over to him.
“Are you Jack Rivers?” The Jenny asked stopping only a few feet away from him and making sure to keep between him and the door.
“That depends on why you’re asking.” Even as the words left his mouth Jack began cursing his need to go against anyone who presumed authority over him, cops fit that description unfortunately.
“Jack Rivers is under arrest for assaulting a human and pokegirl theft. Are you he?” The Growlie had moved behind him and was growling low in her throat as the Jenny talked.
“I am Jack Rivers.” He said with a sigh of resignation standing up and putting out his hands. The Jenny placed the handcuffs around his wrists. A sharp pain suddenly bloomed from his shoulder as the Growlie put a hand on his shoulder her claws digging in as she pushed him forward. The formerly boisterous Tamers occupying the center quiet as Jack was led out.
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Interrogation room, Pewtit city secondary police substation
Designed for maximum discomfort and intimidation the interrogation room was painted white with only a one way mirror and a door linking it to the outside world. Three hard plastic chairs and a single wooden table furnished the room and they were all bolted to the cement floor using one inch bolts.
Two hours after his arrest found Jack sitting on his still handcuffed hands in one of the chairs when the door finally opened and a male officer, the chief if his badge was to be believed, and an OfficerJenny walked in.
“I want to” Was as far as Jack got before the chief slammed his hand on the table silencing Jack.
“I don’t really care what you want boy, we take a dim view of thieves and assaulters here in Pewtit.” The Chief remained standing hand on the table glaring at Jack. The OfficerJenny took a seat and placed a folder on to the table.
“In the folder is a confession form, if you sign it and save the trouble of a trial you may get a reduced sentence.” The Jenny quietly said watching Jack and the chief out of the corner of her eye.
“I refuse to sign that on the grounds that I’m innocent of the charges being brought against me.” With how often Tamers ran afoul of it a class on Indigo League law was required at Ridgeville and Jack was silently thanking the many nights he spent further researching them and more specifically how to get around them.
“What do you mean your innocent, Ryan Ervil was found two hours ago by a passing Tamer who teleported him to Pewtit for medical treatment. After being treated for a concussion and lacerations a psychic pokegirl verified the truth of his claims that you attacked him from behind before taking his Spinnertit and leaving him unconscious in the woods.” The smug grin on the chiefs face began to bother Jack immensely and he set out to wipe it off.
“First of all if you’re going to have a mustache you should really lose some weight. When you talk your chins start knocking together and with your mustache moving as it does it looks quite ridiculous.” Happy to have sent the chief into a sputtering rage Jack continued. “Secondly if he was knocked unconscious how would he know that I stole his Spinnertit rather than some unscrupulous Tamer taking advantage of his unconscious state.”
The Jenny had been taken aback as most 16 year old Tamers could barely talk to the police without stuttering let alone make a reasonable argument. She quickly rallied her thoughts together though. “So you admit to assaulting him but deny the theft is that it?”
“I hit him but I didn’t assault him. Completely different you see.” The chiefs smug grin had returned when Jack started talking but his denial of assault changed it to confusion. Like most people with any amount of power he did not deal with confusion well Jack thought.
“What do you mean that’s not assault, it’s the bloody definition of assault.” The chiefs Irish roots began to shine through as he cursed.
“For a police chief you sure don’t know the law very well if you think hitting someone is the definition of assault. As per Indigo law Tamers are authorized to use a reasonable amount of force in order to stop an attempted pokegirl theft.” He stopped there deliberately making his statements vague in order to enjoy messing with them.
“Are you claiming that Ervil was just collateral damage when you attempted to stop a theft.” The incredulity she felt at such an event was clear as she talked.
“Not at all, I am ‘claiming’ that Ervil was attempting to steal my Spinnertit and the elbow he took to the back of the head was a reasonable use of force to stop him.” He couldn’t move his hands to make the air quotations as he spoke but Jack felt he conveyed them reasonably well just through speech.
“According to records you do not and never have possessed a Spinnertit, the Spinnertit found in your pokepack matched Ervil’s records though.” The chief brought back his smug grin for a third time as the Jenny spoke though she kept a reserved look on her face knowing that Jack hadn’t simply forgotten he never had a Spinnertit.
“We had finished a salvage battle that left me the victor when Ervil tried to leave without handing over the Spinnertit. Under the law ownership was transferred to me immediately upon conclusion of the battle. That I had never taken physical possession of her pokeball didn’t matter so I knocked him out and retrieved my newest pokegirl before heading on to Pewtit city.”A smug grin of his own came over Jack’s face as he finished. “The entire event was recorded by my pokedex and if you’d like to verify my claim feel free to view it.”
“Why did you leave him in the forest, he could have been killed by a feral.” The Jenny asked watching as the chief began to smolder with rage before become oddly quiet.
“He was a pokegirl thief and I have no intention of helping someone like that. After all I, like Pewtit city, take a dim view of thieves.” Jack threw the chiefs line back at him somewhat unnerved by his lack of reaction.
“We will need to review the evidence before we can let you go, since you’re so familiar with League law you know that we can hold you for three days and it might just take that long to sort through the evidence.” A smile came over his face even as apprehension came over the Jenny’s. There was nothing technically illegal about it so she stayed quiet though.
“If you feel it would take that long I understand, I would appreciate it if I could go ahead and file the papers need for that Growlie’s destruction now though.” Jack understood the chief’s game and started his own in order to get out of jail as soon as possible.
“What reason could you possibly have for that?” The Jenny asked with an edge to her voice as they were talking about her own partner.
“Why she assaulted me of course, during my arrest while I was peaceably following the Jenny here. She dug her claws into my shoulder and shoved me almost knocking me face first onto the floor as I was handcuffed at the time.”
“Like you said earlier the law allows reasonable force to be used.” The Jenny saw what he was going for.
“Yes reasonable force. I do seem to recall that someone who is handcuffed and peaceably following doesn’t need any further force used. As you know the law is quite clear on pokegirls assaulting a human, level 5 conditioning or execution at the victims preference.”
“You would really try to get her executed just for that small act.”
“Normally I wouldn’t however my having to stay here for three days will give me a lot of free time and using that time to help make sure everyone follows the law would be a good use of it.”
Jack ignored the look of horror on the Jenny’s face and the sounds coming from the other side of the glass. He focused on the chief who was gritting his teeth, face turning red. In almost any other league the Growlie’s actions wouldn’t have garnered any attention and even in Indigo had Jack been guilty they wouldn’t have mattered.
Unfortunately for her all the upper level person that would make the decision as to the Growlies fate would see was that an innocent person spent three days in jail and all he wanted was the one that attacked him dealt with. It was unfortunate for the pokegirl but Jack was confident that the chief would rather let him go then lose a member of the force.
“Cut him loose.” The chief finally announced before getting up and heading for the exit. What happened to the Growlie didn’t matter to him but the fact that it happened under him would affect him and that he couldn’t allow. “The name’s Durbin kid, and I don’t want to see you in this town anymore.” He opened the steel door and slammed it shut behind him leaving the OfficerJenny to remove Jack’s handcuffs.
“Would you really have gone through with it if Durbin had held you here.” The Jenny quietly murmured as she removed the handcuffs allowing him full circulation once again.
“The best way to never get called on a bluff “ Jack said as he stood up rubbing his aching hands “is to never bluff.”
<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
With all three members of his harem out Jack recapped the day’s events. Chandra immediately volunteered to burn the police station to the ground much to Jack’s amusement.
“You really have taken to the Fire spell haven’t you? I’ll have to keep an eye out for Fira I think, but no we won’t be burning down the police station.” Jack chuckled at the thought imagining Durbin’s mustache on fire.
“Master we can’t just let them get away with treating you like that.” Chandra had only been with him a short while but her devotion to him was strong as steel.
Jack silently considered her before pulling her into his lap with a squeak. He wrapped his arms around her and she leaned against him as he lightly kissed her on the forehead.
Before becoming a tamer he had always shied away from physical contact. After bonding with his girls he found the sensation a lot more pleasurable though and would often relax at night simply holding them and softly stroking their hair. That it almost always led to a taming session or three simply made it even better to Jack and the girls.
“Durbin is an annoyance and I won’t allow us to risk everything just for a bit of petty revenge.”
“But master.” Chandra started to say when Jack cut her off.
“Forget Durbin, is that clear.” Chandra nodded as a shiver ran down her back. One of the most important lessons in having a harem was to set out the rules and if they were broken punishment must follow. The infernal types in particular required a strong willed tamer and his affinity made common sense to him what others could never see.
He resumed stroking her hair making sure to play with her sensitive ears as he did so.
“Will we be leaving the city without going to the gym Master?” Jessica asked interrupting the moan from Chandra at Jack’s treatment.
“No, this incident with the police is annoying but I won’t allow them to intimidate me. It does mean however that we’ll have to remain above board for the rest of our stay here. The smallest infraction could be used against us. I didn’t want to remain in the city for long anyway so as soon as we win the badge tomorrow we’ll head out.” He refused to consider that they might not win the badge.
“Where will we be going Master.” Chandra asked eyeing the map Jack had marked up in Viridick city.
“Cerulesbian city is our ultimate destination. Normally the way to get there involves trekking over Mt. Moon taking approximately 3 weeks total. One week to get to Mt. Moon, one week to go over Mt. Moon, and one week to go from there to Cerulesbian. However I managed to find a Tamer going to Celaboner tomorrow and for a small fee he is willing to teleport us along with him. From Celaboner we’ll head to Saffron and from there we can go north to Cerulesbian.” Jack had begun marking out the route they would take as he talked much to Chandra’s disappointment.
“We’ll cut the time to get to Cerulesbian in half and gain some teleport points along the way. Celaboner is also going to host its annual festival in a week and from what I hear it’s supposed to be fairly amazing to attend.” He returned to tending Chandra gently caressing her along the side and front avoiding any primary erogenous zone.
“Alright lets go over the plan for the gym battle tomorrow and then we can get to the more enjoyable part of the night.”
(May 30,306 Viridick City, Indigo League)
The sun was shining, the temperature was a balmy 78 degrees and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky. In other words perfect weather for any number of activities feral hunting and taming outdoors being only two of them. While Jessica enjoyed the feel of the sun during the act as most plant types did, she did not enjoy strangers watching which meant a trip back to Viridick forest would most likely be in Jack’s future. Instead of having a lot of fun with Jessica and more than likely Chandra in the forest he had to waste such a beautiful day sitting next to a tamer who seemed to be unable to figure out the complexities of bathing.
“Note to self, do not attempt gym battles the week after every school for tamers lets out.” Jack muttered glaring at the clock on the wall in the vain hope he would manifest the powers of a Tick-Tock and it would speed up.
“Tamer Matthews your battle with gym assistant Sven is ready.” An Ingenue called from just inside the doorway leading to the battle arena. To Jack’s relief Matthews ended up being the tamer next to him and for the first time in an hour he could breath air that wasn’t completely toxic.
Second note to self, change rules on manslaughter to exempt him if I ever obtain position of power he briefly fantasized about a world without foul smelling morons when the Ingenue returned.
“Tamer Rivers your battle with gym assistant Mac is ready.” Jack followed her through the doorway and into the hallway leading to the arena proper.
As she led him down the hallway she cleared her throat and began to talk. “As this is your first gym battle in the Indigo League I am required to inform you of the rules all gyms must follow. Individual gyms may add additional rules as they please so you will have to check with them before any battle. No battle may have more than 6 pokegirls for each side. Tamers are not targetable for attack unless the battle type is grand melee. Willfully disregarding this law will result in loss of Tamer License and summary execution of the pokegirl in question.” She paused for a breath and to make sure he was still listening, at his nod she continued.
“The Indigo League has recently adopted a two tier badge system. A regular badge which is the same as it has always been is given after defeating a gym assistant. The second tier is called the heroic mode badge and has a black border surrounding a normal mode badge. The heroic mode badge is only given after defeating the gym leader in a 6 vs 6 single battle elimination. In order to challenge for a heroic mode badge you must have a regular badge of the gym in question and have met their minimum standard to challenge. This is generally a tamer rank, however Pewtit believes in the strength of an entire harem rather than just one and so their requirement is an average active harem level of 50.”
“Should you lose a battle for the heroic mode badge you must either wait one month or win a heroic mode badge from another gym in order to attempt the challenge again. At their pleasure gym leaders may waive any and all rules regarding heroic mode challenges.” She stopped as they came to the end of the hall and entered the actual arena.
Comprising 75% of gyms total area, the arena was one large open space with 4 battlefields spread across the floor. All 4 were covered in boulders that ranged from the size of a cantaloupe to twice the size of a transformed Rhynodame.
Bench style seating carved from rock wrapped around the room and surrounded the fields providing an excellent view of all the action no matter where you sat. The Tamer from earlier was currently on the field closest to them commanding a Slutge against a Geogal.
“Upon obtaining a badge your Tamer Rank will be updated accordingly and should that badge put you at an even number of badges you will receive the corresponding reward. Regular and heroic badges from the same gym only count once towards your total. Sex battles have only one type of badge for each gym and do not count towards your total badge number. Do you have any questions Tamer Rivers?” she had finally led him to a field where a tamer was already waiting for him.
“No, you explained it well.” That he hadn’t need it explained was held back as she nodded bid him good luck and went to retrieve the next tamer.
“Are you ready kid, I’ve got another dozen brats I’ve gotta beat before I can head out for lunch and the faster you lose the faster I can leave.” Mac called from across the field, radiating the disdain he felt.
“You should gain some patience, I had to wait an hour in order to beat you and I intend to enjoy it.” Jack replied calmly retrieving a pokeball from the subspace he kept his in. “Will a 2 vs 2 single battle elimination be alright with you?”
“Aye it’s fine with me.” Mac pulled a pokeball from his belt and waited for the referee to announce the beginning.
“This is a 2 vs 2 single battle elimination with no substitutions and no time limit. Tamer Rivers are you ready?”
                “I am.”
“Gym assistant Mac are you ready.”
                “Aye.”
                He dropped the flag. “Begin.”
Mac immediately released a tough looking Jade and Jack followed suit sending out Jessica.
“Jess Grass Floor” Jack called out to make the boulder strewn field into a more favorable battleground.
Jessica closed her eyes and lay flat against the ground. Grass began to sprout radiating out from her location. Three feet thick on average the grass served as an effective camouflage from the Jade’s sight.
“Melanie Rollout.” The Jade tucked herself into a ball and started to spin in place before suddenly shooting off towards Jessica.
“Dodge and use Lance.” Jessica’s movements were hidden by the tall grass and the boulders served to slow the Jade enough for her to get away before the Jade even got close to where she had been. Her attack failed the Jade began to spin in place again as she charged up for another Rollout attack. She began to move forward again when she ran into a dozen sharpened bamboo spears. Placed at a 45 degree angle the Jade’s momentum drove the spears deep into her body before they snapped leaving the tips still in her.
The Jade lay on the ground groaning in pain trying to regenerate from her wounds. The spears tips were interfering with the process however.
“Lance.” Jessica began to focus again and a dozen more bamboo spears shot up from where the Jade had been until Mac withdrew her.
“Plant and water types are fairly commonly used against the gym though this is the first time a Lance attack actually succeeded in piercing one of the gym’s pokegirls and doing some serious damage.” The prospect of an actual fight rather than one with a utter rookie had changed Mac’s attitude and he pulled out his second pokeball with a small amount of glee.
“Jess has been training very hard in order to make the bamboo shoots as sharp and sturdy as possible. Combine that with the Grass Floor, the momentum from a Rollout, and a Jade’s severe weakness to plant type attacks and you’ve got a pretty nice attack.” Jack replied winning a bout and taking no damage putting him in a much more genial mood.
“I can’t tell you how many idiots come here with just a plant or a water type and expecting that to see them through the fight, as though we wouldn’t have taken that into consideration when we decided to specialize in Rock types.” Mac chuckled and threw the pokeball onto the field revealing his answer to a grass type adversary.
A Hotgoblina appeared and immediately used ignite to surround herself in fire. The grass near her began to smoke as a result, the new grass was not dry enough to spread the flames beyond her body though.
Jack was about to recall Jessica when a glow began to overtake her. Her body started to elongate reaching just over 20 feet from head to tail with only 4 feet above the waist. Her wings which had been too small to even glide with before grew out to a 14’ span. Her breasts increased in size as well growing from an A-cup to a small C-cup. The glow finally receded to reveal her skin had gained a mottled brown appearance. The new brown intermixed with her previous forest green and created an even more effective forest camouflage for the new plant/dragon type.
Jessica finished transforming and smirked at the Hotgoblina showing off her now much longer fangs glistening with venom. Deciding to give Jessica’s new form a chance since there were no substitutions Jack desperately tried to remember the Dragon type attacks she would have learned with her evolution.
“Jess use Twister.” Her eyes began to glow purple with an ethereal light and her hair twisted around her in an unseen wind. Gathering the wind in front of her she moved her hands in a circle thrice before finally pushing out towards the Hotgoblina releasing the Twister on her.
The build up in smoke from her ignite obscured the Hotgoblina’s vision enough that her attempt to dodge sent her tripping over a small boulder and was caught on the legs by the Twister. As a result of the uneven force on her body she was flung spinning through the air into one of the larger boulders on the field, landing with a crack.
The injury only seemed to make her mad, the flames surrounding her grew and the boulder next to her began to glow and the edges started to become malformed.
“Gob, rage and fire punch.” Gob bellowed in rage before concentrating her flames around her fists and charged Jessica.
“Minimize the damage as best you can and use Dragon Coil.” Unused to her now greater agility Jessica moved too far on her dodge and when she went to use Dragon Coil took a Fire Punch to her side. Ignoring the pain she began wrapping herself around the Hotgoblina, Dragon energy coursing through her as she began to crush the Hotgoblina.
“Gob use ignite to get her off of you.” Gob stopped struggling and used Ignite in an attempt to break free from Jessica, only to find that she could only produce flames on the few parts of her body not bound by the new Kadru’s powerful tail.
“Finish it with Lust Bite.” Her fangs dripping with the powerful venom Jessica found an opening she hadn’t completely wrapped over and harshly bit down injecting the Hotgoblina.
Still wrapped up the Hotgoblina stilled before suddenly redoubling her efforts to break free panting from the artificial desire caused by the venom.
“Return Gob.” The capture beam hit the Hotgoblina returning her to her pokeball as Jessica unwound herself and headed for Jack .
“The winner is Tamer Rivers.” The referee announced once more waving his green flag to signal the end of the fight.
“You did well Jess, I’ll give you your reward for such a good performance tonight?” Jessica’s eyes closed at the pleasure she felt from Jack running a hand along her newly evolved body. Jack returned her to the pokeball and met Mac on the outside of the field.
“Ya did well for a rookie kid, here’s ya badge.” Mac tossed a boulder badge to Jack who caught it and put it in a pocket. “Your Tamer Rank is gonna go up a few notches after this so you had best be prepared at the next gym you visit.”
“I’ll make sure to keep that in mind when I get to Cerulesbian. Now if you’ll excuse me I have a Kadru in need of her reward for a job well done.” Jack left the gym never noticing the disguised cameras hidden around the arena that had been watching him.

“So what do you think about that new Tamer?” Alex’s job at the Pewtit city gym was one he enjoyed immensely. Taking the footage from the cameras all around the arena he produced videos of the more interesting fights. Selling the more interesting fights and sex battles brought in a rather large amount of revenue for the League. It also allowed those with access to watch potential Tamers at their leisure as Brock was fond of doing.
“He’s good, that a newly evolved Kadru managed to sweep the fight and only took a single hit in the process is quite impressive.” That Brock was impressed surprised Alex as Brock was generally loathe to express his feelings one way or another.
“So how far do you think he’ll go?” Alex was curious at this point as only a dozen rookie Tamers had ever gotten the good label from Brock.
“It’s still far too early to say. Mac is used to dealing with rookies and his girls have gotten used to it as well which may have been what gave Rivers an easy victory. Rivers showed the beginnings of promise though and if he can keep it up he’ll go far.” Brock went silent again and started watching the next tape featuring a girl and her Ivywhore.
