At some point, a report of the construction material Pykrete fell into the hands of Sukebe's side of the Revenge War. Soon after, reports of the enormous pokegirl Coniferice (Cone-if-er-ice) was first spotted, one of the many dinosaur pokegirls unleashed upon humanity. Used to create large platforms, bridges, and other temporary constructs; the breed was ultimately captured by humanity's side and used to the same end. Today, the breed is commonly used in colder climates, particularly where temporary or permanent constructions are needed.

Coniferice (plural as well as singular) are based on sauropods, and are most notable for their long necks even in taming form as well as their overall height. Even in the most human appearing of this plant-dino, the neck is elongated, usually 1.5 times the average human neck length at the shortest. Coniferice tails are on average at least twice as long as an individual pokegirl is tall, usually thinning drastically into a whip-like tip at the end. The dicplodocus is the most common base for the breed, though there are a large number of sauropods that have been documented. Typically, the breed's height in taming form ranges from 5.5 feet (1.68 meters) to 7.5 feet (2.29 meters) with weight and build generally within the range of human norms, proportionally sized for the taller individuals. Skin, while scaled, has tones that are typically solidly within the green spectrum, due to chloroplasts within the skin, occasionally dipping into herbaceous browns. Hair can be of any color, and occasionally is more akin to coniferous needles than true hair.

Perhaps one of the most massive pokegirls in their battle form, Coniferice range typically from 6 feet (2 meters) to 12 feet (3.66 m) high at the shoulder with the neck generally being held about 3-6 feet (1-2 meters) higher. Their massive size is measured better in their length, which is typically from 18 feet (5.5 meters) to 36 feet (11m). Usually, the breed falls between the two extremes at 9 feet (2.74 meters) high and 27 feet (8.22 meters) in length. In this form, they completely match their dinosaur base, being quadrupedal in stature, with their necks and tails each taking up over half their length. Due to the sheer size of some individuals, many fight in their taming form, as there are no differences between the two in regards to strength and ability.

Due to the configuration of the tail, these plant types are able to utilize their vine whip technique by their tail alone, even though most are also able to produce vines from either the base of the neck or their backs. Though primarily a plant type, the breed is also able to produce ice beams, and tend to combine the two elements effectively in battle. Often, frozen mixtures of Lance and Icicle Spear are used, adding the possibility of freezing in addition to the danger of attacks. While this makes the breed have an edge against a variety of elements, they also have a wide range of weaknesses, with fire in particular.

Most often, the breed is used to create their specialty, pykrete, which is a mixture of wood fiber and water frozen into ice. Pykrete is only slightly more dense than ice, while being between ice and concrete in regards to resisting being crushed and exceeds both ice and concrete in tensile strength by a factor of around 3. This construction material is often used for temporary bridges and platforms, usually kept whole with the Coniferice or other ice elemental pokegirls and fixed with simple additions of water. Some enterprising Tradesmen have built ships and even buildings with pykrete, though these are always dependent on staying frozen. The breed is very popular in cold-climate Leagues.

Personalities vary greatly among Coniferice, with gentle and aggressive being nearly tied in polls of tamers, with lazy coming a close second. This sauropod pokegirl also shares the same undefined nature in their taming preferences, as some enjoy attention to the neck while others seem to shy away from the same treatment. These plant-ice pokegirls should be taken on an individual basis. Unlike many ice types, this breed is actually warm to the touch, with a normal body temperature slightly above the human norm. The breed can be tamed without any restraints or special salves, though some individuals need their tails padded, as exuberant slaps can draw blood.

Grouping into herds of 7 - 35 individuals, ferals of the breed are often found near fresh water sources. Unlike many ferals, litters are usually single births, with a high possibility of twins (~40%). The breed photosynthesizes for most of their nutritional needs, typically standing in sunny patches and grazing on foliage. If threatened, the most dominant member(s) of the herd confront the predator or tamer, while the rest of the herd flees. Temperature plays a key role in the breed's form, as temperatures above 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32.2 C) causes them to revert to their taming form, below this, the breed assumes their battle form with no locked in time.

Threshold into a Coniferice requires an ancestry of the breed, or that of dinosaur breeds in general with strong plant and ice ancestry. The transition typically begins with alternating chills and sweats, and a strong aversion to meat. Chloroplast cells begin to grow within the skin, altering it's color quickly. Sunning typically brings relief from symptoms, though the taming form of the breed comes in full before the pokegirl gains the ability to transform into her battle form. Total threshold time usually lasts close to three weeks, at the end of which the new pokegirl is usually sold to tradesmen or into the ranch system.
