Not recorded during the War of Revenge, this plant type was first discovered a handful of years afterward. It was believed that this breed did play a role in the war, though may have been confused with other plant types. One marked difference in the Rosebreasts and other plant types (barring the Juniper/Thorne Slut) is that this pokegirl breed is a fighting type, one with an affinity for swordplay. It was soon discovered that this breed evolved from the non-fighting Flowergirl after a pokewoman gave birth to the unevolved form. Intensive research discovered the method of the evolution, allowing tamers at large the opportunity to evolve the Flowergirl breed with time and effort.

Athletic and lithe, a majority of this plant type have runner's physiques. Averaging on the short side, heights range in the breed from about 4.5 feet to just over 5 feet. Bust also tends to be on the modest side as well, with the breed rarely seen with over a B cup naturally. Like the Flowergirl, the Rosebreasts has light green skin, though their eyes are more human, with an iris that can be almost any color. The hair of the breed remains vegetative, though now the flowers adoring this plant type's head are exclusively roses. The breed photosynthesize, and prefer to wear very little clothing, many feralborn members of the breed opting out of clothing entirely.

Personalities are highly variable among the breed, though some show an increased aggression or confidence, likely due to the breed's better battle capabilities. Other personality trends are less distinctive, though the influence of the tamer seems to be a very large factor in the expressed personalities of the breed. The only constant worth noting is that more than half of Rosebreasts enjoy activities that require grace and poise, such as finer forms of dancing. This leads some to attempt to learn dance magic, with varying degrees of success.

While this breed is considered to universally able to learn swordplay, as a whole these plant types aggregate toward fencing and more agile forms of sword fighting. Usually the Thorn Cutlass formed by the breed is a thin rapier, often studded with rose thorns. While variations have been noted, the 'Rose Rapier' is often a notable sign of the breed. Coupled this with the breeds use of rose petals for their Petal Armor, this fighting flower pokegirl makes a formidable opponent for those she is strong against. Understandably, the breed generally fares poorly when faced with elements she is weak to. It is notable however, that the breed fares better than a majority of plant types in general cold weather conditions, though the breed is still weak to ice attacks or severe cold conditions.

Like the Rosebreasts' personalities, taming preferences are highly variable. It is noted among most that the preferences of the tamer are preferred. For members of the breed who were sex battling Flowergirls, their knowledge and use of various techniques is still intact, and any preferences remain. Unfortunately, the breed loses some of the famed sexual endurance of their pre-evolution, leaving them a competent but average sex battler.

Feral Rosebreasts are found mainly through parthogensis instead of evolution, and as such most ferals know little of the sexual techniques that Flowergirl's possess. These plant types are mostly sessile, often moving to sunny places with water nearby in order to feed. If disturbed, however, these pokegirls can attack quickly and without much warning, making them a nuisance pokegirl when found near cities.

Thresholding directly into a Rosebreasts is rare, though less so among those with heavy Flowergirl ancestry. Threshold is an extremely slow process, taking almost a year to complete, as the skin slowly becomes embedded with chlorophyll cells and the body converts to being mainly photosynthetic. Conversion of human hair into grasses and vines is the last and fastest part of the transformation, usually happening in the last weeks of threshold.
