The second discovered evolution to the Dullborro, the Smartass was a product of pokegirl evolution research. The ground type pokegirl's mind expands when given a Psi-crystal to include the psychic element. The breed changes little physically, their bust sometimes increases a cup size or two, though the breed average is a large C cup. There are less instances of the black hair/fur color, and the breed as a whole leans toward lighter hair and fur colors, white and platinum blond being common colors. Any increase in height is minimal in both forms, often leading to mistaken identity between the evolved breeds and their un-evolved form.

Due to the breed's mental deficiencies, Smartasses tend to take themselves seriously, and many of the breed have sarcastic and cynical attitudes. A times confrontational, this breed often attempts to point out the faults in others to compensate for their own shortcomings from their previous evolutions. Once bonded, however, tamers are free from having this personality quirk turned upon them if it exists in the individual (and there are also varying degrees of this quirk). Mentally confrontational, the breed overall enjoys mental challenges, be it a debate or working through complex problems. They also enjoy learning in general, and a few have been known to memorize anything they have read. This does not mean that all Smartasses have photographic memory, but that some can retain information better than others. Like other donkey pokegirls, Smartasses have a fight over flight mentality, but unlike their pre-evolved form are able to learn their limits and know when a situation requires a strategic retreat.

Smartasses are highly variable in terms of taming preferences, though many show a preference for using their telekinesis for weightless taming sessions. Rumors of the breed being domineering in the taming room contradict studies done in several Leagues, which show a myriad of individual preferences as well as a tendency to adopt the preferences of their tamer once an alpha bond is formed. Members of the breed should be taken on an individual basis.

When found in the wild, feral Smartasses travel alongside other Dullborro herds, though usually defer to Z-Bras should there be any of their sister breed in the herd. Presence of Smartasses in a Dullborro herd make capturing either of the breeds a challenge, though strong plant and water types are still able to easily scatter the herd. These psychic donkey pokegirls are more intelligent than their pre-evolved form, and are able to form rudimentary tactics as well as signal each other silently using their telepathy (though research has shown that these signals are more feelings and images than actual words). Caution is advised for tamers who wish to take on these donkey pokegirls.

Threshold directly into a Smartass is rare, though those girls who do are often thankful that they are allowed to keep their minds. Like the threshold of the previous form, transformation takes place relatively easily, the thresholder being unable to transform into her tauric form until after she becomes a pokegirl. Only differentiated from threshold into a Dullborro by the subject keeping her mental facilities, the only marked difference from other donkey breeds is picking up of surface thoughts by the thresholder. Many threshold Smartasses are sold into the private sector as steady draft pokegirls with an added bonus of their psychic abilities for both defense and increased carrying capacity.
