While the Mystic is known for their card creation abilities, it isn't until they evolve that they realize their true potential in their unique form of magic. Called the Starmystic, this powerful magic breed is limited only by their knowledge and imagination. Used primarily in magic schools across the globe, this breed has been touted as a prime choice for those studying fields of magic.

Upon evolution, the most startling change in this magical breed is that their age jumps a decade, averaging around 26 but appearing as young as 22 or as old as 30. A stylized star also appears on the breed's foreheads, this symbol allows a Starmystic to absorb energy into their bodies to power their techniques. Other than the age progression and star symbol, the breed changes very little.

While many tamers claim that their Starmystic acts more mature upon evolving, psychology evaluations done in research studies have indicated that this is only a perceived increase in maturity, likely due to the breed's appearance increasing in age. Marked interest in curiosity and information gathering urges have been confirmed, meaning that this breed tends to enjoy and seek out subjects and knowledge that interest them. These explorations are often expansions on subjects the individual pokegirl had been studying before her evolution, though occasionally this changes. Other personality traits should be taken on an individual basis, as with the rest of the main line of this breed.

Though Starmystics typically carry a long ornate staff (that is battle ready despite any looks to the contrary), the breed rarely uses it in battle, relying on their cards as their primary source of techniques. Mana Bolt tends to be used as needed, meaning that opponents to the breed should be wary that this final form of the Tarot is not totally helpless without her cards. While the breed can utilize any card they previously had, they also have an easier time making up cards on the fly, as well as creating more complex cards from scratch. Like the Mystic, creating cards instantly drains the Starmystic of a large amount of power, and is generally used as an act of desperation. While the breed can recover some energy through conversion of star energy (note: the sun is a star), this cannot sustain the pokegirl in battle indefinitely.

Researchers have determined that should a Starmystic, a Zodiac and a Mysticangel all join the same harem then a psychic link is formed between them which bonds the three Pokegirls together for life. While this bond has been compared to a Delta bond since it allows them to sense each others location and emotions at all times, it actually goes much deeper since they can communicate over it telepathically. This allows all three Pokegirls to co-ordinate their attacks making them an almost unbeatable team, which most researchers believe was Sukebe's intention. They have also determined that if a tamer has a Delta Bond or later forges a Delta Bond with one of the Pokegirls then he automatically gets a Delta Bond with the other two.

Like the breed's previous forms, Starmystics have no reservations about taming in general though personal tastes vary. The breed has been called more sensual, though studies have shown that this is likely a result of perception, as a few tamers have lamented over the loss of their pokegirl's youthful form. Like their unevolved form, the breed's feral state is one of skewed time perception and uncontrollable cards. Due to the breed's concentration in research, many have accidentally gone feral in universities and slowly lost track of time. Some have suffered from malnutrition as well as becoming a danger to students as their cards activated without their knowledge.

It is rare for a human girl to become a Starmystic as typically thresholders become Tarots or Mystics. Threshold is typically highly noticeable, as the girl in question usually wakes up one day apparently aged a decade. While this is often startling, some clever thresholders have passed themselves off as an older relative and attempted to keep their transformation hidden in that manner. Due to the breed still having the youthful enhancement, thresholders do not seem to age physically beyond the initial jump.
