Seeing the results of the experiments that produced the Vanguardia, colonial scientists were eager to attempt another, more controlled adaptation. This time, using the DNA coding from the Bombshells that were part of the invasion force. This time they had a better understanding of the processes and reaction involved with pokégirl DNA, and their results were more in line with their original concept. Resigned to the idea of not being able to replicate the power source of the Furia, and as such not being able to create a pokégirl transport, they managed to take elements of the Bombshell and make themselves a support/bomber pokégirl to aid the Vanguardia and Furia in their operations.

Continuing with their uninspired naming, this new breed was simply designated Vanguardia B Type by the scientists, though most refer to the breed as simply B types, and she was specifically constructed to act as a bombing and ground support pokégirl. As such she was build with an ability to produce the weapons and ammo she needed much like the Vanguardia. In her flight form, she has a single machinegun mounted in the nose, and her underbelly conceals the bomb bay behind retractable doors. Inside the bay, while closed, the B type can construct the ordinance she needs on route to a mission, or between strikes. Usual payloads consist of either one or two large bombs (Penetration attack) or several clusters of small, but powerful, bombs (Saturation attack). Both types are guided to the specific target, or target area, by the B Type after the release, increasing the effectiveness of her runs, which have to be made several minutes apart to allow for her to construct more bombs. Flight wise, she is between the Vanguardia and Furia, not as fast or manueverable as the former, but more so than the latter. On the ground, she of course loses the bomb bay, but instead gains a powerful morter over her right shoulder. Her attacks for the weapon are similar to the ones for her flight form, a single round with HEAT(High Explosive, Anti Tank) properties for the Penetrator attack and a HEAP(High Explosive Anti Personnel) submunition for the saturation attack. In formation, they tend to hang back, usually near the Furia theyr17;re escorting and use their support abilities to cover the faster and more aggressive Vanguardia. Though not a hand to hand fighter, she is more than capable of defending her self in close assault, but will try her best to remain far back in the field to utilize her most powerful support attacks.

A B type is the midrange size-wise for the colonial flyers. Standing at about 7ft in height, she shares the same armor style and abilities of her sisters, and also tends to adopt emblems or insignias when operating in assigned groups. But while her sister the Vanguardia is the aggressive type, the B Type is for more calm in her approaches. She is not as easily excitable as the Vanguardia and is more concerned with getting it right, than just getting it done. As such, she is more than happy to be the passive one when engaging in tamer, though can be forward if it suites her Tamer's preferences.

The B type also shared the Vanguardia's dietary needs, since many of her requirements for her abilities are the same ones as her sister, but again the Colonial Council has deemed this as an acceptable trade off for the usefulness of the breed. Another trait shared with her sister is the lack of a cockpit in fighter form, making her unable to carry a tamer, unless it was inside her bomb bay.
