Unlike many fish-based pokegirls, the Seabra is a breed based on a seahorse, but doesn't have the immersion requirements of other fish-based pokegirls. Indeed, thanks to the breed's duel capabilities of their hydrokinesis and vaporous aura, this breed only begins to need immersion in deserts (and then only about every two to three weeks). While it seems that the breed was used alongside other aquatic breeds during the War of Revenge to attack ships, submarines, and other sea craft, it has also been frequently speculated that this breed 's ability to create hydrating salves was also utilized to allow aquatic pokegirls to move over land to inland lakes when the rivers and streams were otherwise impassable or watched over by human forces. Today, that same ability to create salves that allow other fish-based pokegirls to forgo their need for immersion is highly valued and marketable.

These aquatic pokegirls are a blend of human and seahorse. Typically, all Seabra have webbed hands, webbed feet, a head 'crown', dorsal ridges or spikes, and a long prehensile tail. Webbing on hands may vary from partially to fully webbed, though the feet are almost universally fully webbed. Notable among the breed is the head 'crown'; a collection of bony ridges and peaks that often resemble a stylized crown. This crown is unique to the pokegirl - no two individuals have the exact same arrangement, which has been likened to fingerprints among individuals. Skin tones among the breed vary, though the most common color is blue, reds, browns, yellows, or greens have also been found. Usually this coloration is designed for passive aquatic camouflage, either by mottled colors for sea/river beds, or counter coloration for more active travel. Feet may or may not be digigrade, and faces may or may not have muzzles. Ears vary among the breed, some appear large and fin-like and may blend in with their crown, while others have only a scaled circle to note where the ears are.

Often described by tamers as bold, intrepid, or fearless, Seabra (in some areas called Whoresea or Seawhore) typically have confidence in themselves enough to be nonplussed by most challenges. There are notable exceptions, often portrayed in comedic media where this seahorse pokegirl is cowardly as opposed to brave. This reputation is often carried through to battle expectations by tamers, who believe fearlessness equates to battle prowess. While Seabra are indeed able to battle effectively with little training (and even more so if their tamer dedicates time to train them), they still have the usual elemental weaknesses to electricity, ice, and plant types.

This breed is often said to be a rival of the Soleria, due to the two breed's similar potion creation abilities. The Seabra does diverge in this area, however, and the breed specialize in the creation of a salve that keeps water types hydrated and other aquatic themed salves. Many tamers often make extra spending money by having their seahorse pokegirl create the hydrating salve for sale, as well as other salves and potions as the individual can create. Another common potion is one that allows for temporary water breathing, which is very popular among tamers with water-loving pokegirls. Seabra's are not above this themselves, and many have shown an enjoyment of underwater taming, augmented by their own created potions and salves. Personal preferences, of course, vary by individual.

Ferals of the breed can be found inland just as often as they are found in the water thanks to their unusual out of water capabilities. They tend to be somewhat territorial, and can be overly savage when protecting kits or food. Usually, the breed eats fish and forages for plants, though they are most noted for being one of the few pokegirls that prey on Titacool and Titacruel, being able to crudely create antidotes to their poisons from easily found ingredients. Early poison antidotes were created after rocks coated with the bad tasting remedy were discovered at the water's edge. It didn't take long for humans to emulate this to their betterment.

It isn't too uncommon for a Threshold girl with water pokegirl ancestry to become a Seabra. Usually the first symptom seems to be bad acne near the hairline. Soon it becomes apparent that the 'acne' is actually the beginnings of the crown. Color changes to the skin typically begin around the middle phase of crown growth, with the tail coming in last. While the social changes are often traumatic, the threshold process is thankfully only marked by mild itching.
