Gypsy Moths rarely engaged in actual combat with humans during the Revenge War, but that isn’t to say that they didn’t do their fair share of damage. By mapping out human bases, locating and deactivating traps, and uncovering human ambushes, these gentle pokegirls provided their more violent sisters with a strong advantage. When human armies did manage to capture pokegirls units, it was often the Gypsy Moths who would sneak in and break them out. Thankfully their gentle natures, combined with their habit of coming close to human territory, would quickly lead to their domestication and use by the humans to deactivate pokegirl traps and rescue their soldiers.

Gypsy Moth’s are metamorphic pokegirls with two different forms. In their more humanoid form they tend to stand between five to six feet tall as pokegirls or pokewomen, measurements varying within human norms. All of these pokegirls have small antenna, usually four to six inches, and large compound eyes that are usually dark in color. Skin color varies, though the original Gypsy Moths tended to have dark skin, and all of these pokegirls have a small layer of chitinous armor around the shoulders. Their second form is less humanoid, covered in fur that ranges from light gray, to tan, or white. Their antenna grow another two or three inches and a large pair of moth wings sprout from their back. The wings are usually the same color as their fur, though covered in a brown or black stripe pattern, and when folded down the Gypsy Moth appears to be wearing a cape. Gyspy Moths will wear whatever their master desires, but many of these pokegirls have an interest in the harem girl style and long flowing outfits. Of course whatever they wear will usually be made to let their wings out.

Gypsy Moth’s are light hearted and social pokegirls for the most part, enjoying good times with good friends. They’re often drawn towards singing, dancing, or an instrument, some Gypsyies enjoying all three. Whenever they have the chance they like to pull friends, harem sisters, and lovers onto the dance floor, and if no one wants to dance they’ll take to the sky and dance in the air. They dislike being alone and do quite well in large harems. They also suffer from claustrophobia and thanks to their ability to escape from traps many of these pokegirls will not stay in their pokeballs. It takes a considerable amount of training or a high level taming cycle to make one do so. These pokegirls have amazing memories for sites and locations, and when combined with their natural talent for cartography, make excellent map makers. Many of them experience a strong desire to travel and are most at home in a tamers harem or as the pet of a traveling salesman.

Many leagues allow Gypsy Moths a certain level of freedom not granted to most girls in return for their services. Humans will often supply Gypsy Moths with food, clothing, and taming partners. In return, Gypsy Moths travel the league’s routes in caravans, mapping out roads, monitoring local feral populations, and keeping a record of any threats to travelers along the way for shared use. Most people have no problems with these caravans since the pokegirls are peaceful and they provide a service to their league, though others say they set a bad example for more restrained pokegirls. Tamers are advised against attacking tamed caravans as not only is it often illegal, but they usually surround themselves with booby traps whenever they decide to rest.

Gypsy Moths are not the most ferocious fighters, but they do have a certain fondness for battle. To most Gypsy Moths a battle is like a dance and they seek to offer the most beautiful performance possible to all who watch them. This mindset has made them very popular on the burgeoning coordinator circuit though many fighting types find there idea of combat embarrassing or foolish. For the most part these pokegirls fight by keeping their distance, using wind attacks to blow away their opponents. If that doesn’t do it then they’ll try to sing them to sleep. Close combat is usually a good option against them as they’re not too strong or tough compared to most pokegirls. Otherwise electric, fire, and ice attacks are all great for clipping a Gypsy Moth’s wings.

Taming preferences vary, but most of these pokegirls prefer to be tamed outside, under the stars. They have no real preference in form when taming though many of these pokegirls do dream of being strong enough to tame in midair. Many Gypsy Moth’s love the sensation of air flowing through their fur and letting them fly about in the nude is a great way to get them excited for taming. Sex battles are something that they have no great specialty in, but can pick up with no great difficulty either.

Feral Gypsy Moths still travel in caravans just smaller and simpler ones. They’re often smart enough to know they need taming and if a tamer approaches peacefully and brings them a treat he can often catch an entire caravan very easily. Often this is the only way to catch a Gyspy Moth because if left on their own after their sisters have been captured a solo Gypsy Moth will just stalk the tamer and his harem. If these pokegirls are threatened the oldest will take their flying form and allow the younger ‘girls and ‘kits to flee while they protect them.

Thresholding into a Gypsy Moth is usually a week long affair. It starts with general muscle aches as they’re bodies develop their new strength and toughness. Then they begin to itch where their chitin and antenna will sprout. During the last few days it’s best to blindfold them as the transformation of their eyes can be very disorientating and painful otherwise. When done most of these pokegirls will be able to morph into their winged form at will, though a rare few actually have to threshold through their second form as well, dealing with skin irritation where their fur will grow and severe back pains as their wings develop. These unlucky girls usually need another week to finish their transformation.
