Fairy types are known for their size changing abilities, though this oddity of the fairy line cannot change her own size, rather the size of others around her. In order to add to the confusion and disarray caused by the other fairy types in Sukebe's forces, the Layer Angel was sent in along with her other fairy cousins and would shrink down enemy forces with varying success. Indeed, one of the reasons this breed wasn't as successful as it could be was that the technique used to shrink her opponents relies on surprise or willingness, which usually meant that once a few humans were shrank, the technique no longer worked on the rest, putting the small pokegirl in danger of easily being captured or literally stomped. In addition to this, the shrinking technique requires the Layer Angel to remain calm, further limiting it's use in pitched battles. Once the technique is successful, however, it requires the pokegirl to use Enlarge on her shrunken foe.

Physically, Layer Angels are tiny pokegirls, standing around seven inches tall at their absolute tallest. Their skin is varies in coloration, from human colors to any color found in nature, most often leaning towards blues. Their hair varying shades of any of the primary or secondary colors. Unlike their pre-evolved form, Layer Angels have no wings, and cannot fly unless they learn magical spells to do so. They prefer simple clothing, though ferals make theirs out of leaves and other non-cloth items. Their bust is proportional, and is usually the equivalent of a C cup if they were regular sized, though studies have proven that enlargement spells do not work on the breed. Overall, these blue fairy types are rather slim, much like most of their cousin breeds. They gain the ability to summon armor, and some ferals are often seen wearing this armor in lieu of clothing. Armor and armor styles vary greatly, some even looking like ordinary clothing.

Retaining the helpful and friendly attitude from their previous evolution, Layer Angels are more naieve than childish, often trusting others much too easily until the individual has proven themselves to be untrustworthy. Usually, this tends to get some of the breed on the wrong side of the law when it comes to team activities, though most of the breed are still a bit too nice to be used in anything dangerous. Individuals usually see their Tamer as their defacto leader, and often turn to them for advice or instructions. The breed is also notable for being as loyal, if not more, than canine types, and most develop a magical link to their tamers in order to get fed directions directly, though only with their tamer's permission. They get along well with most other breeds, though tend to see domineering breeds or the more selfish and haughty breeds under a bad light. The kindness of this breed shines through though, since they can take individuals of the breed as individuals, and learn to look past their reputation.

Layer Angels are capable battlers, and pick up techniques easily from other pokegirls, however, they need to rely on their ability to shrink their opponents down to their size, which can fail, and make the breed extremely easy to defeat. Their most potent attack is Mana Bolt, but when used against a full sized pokegirl, the technique rarely does much damage. They're much better at sex battles, able to learn sex attacks easily, and since they're rather small in size, it's rather hard for opponents to find a way to stimulate them into orgasm. Unlike most of the other fairy line, most of the breed dislike playing living dildo, though this is suspected to be due to the blue skinned pokegirl's inability to fly. They're rather agile as a whole, able to make surprisingly high leaps of around two feet, and run about as fast as a non blood gifted human.

If her opponent is shrunken down to her own size, the tables are usually even, if not tilted in favor, of the Layer Angel. This is due to the disorientation of the new perspective of their surrounds being extremely large in comparison. Indeed, this small breed of pokegirl uses this to her advantage, already being used to viewing blades of grass as large fronds, or chairs the relative size of houses. Not only is this a very interesting form of battle, it also reduces collateral damage, and a few Leagues have looked into having this pokegirl on hand for official matches, or challenge matches held within the city.

Taming a Layer Angel is quite an experience, since it requires the tamer to willingly be shrank down to the tiny pokegirl's size. In this state, taming can go on normally, though the now enormous landscape of the bed or sleeping bag provides a very different vantage point. Skilled members of the breed, who know how control their magical powers, can actually shrink and grow things that come into contact with them, even turning certain portions of their tamers anatomy that come into contact with their vagina. This makes those tamers with more experimental personalities happy for the breed's unique abilities. As a whole, the breed is rather individualistic in their tastes for taming, and it is up to the tamer to discover and/or curb this breed's likes and dislikes.

Ferals of the breed tend to live in a rough existence, using their command plants ability to grow rather large mushrooms, which they then hollow out to live in. Their intelligence is actually that of a normal human, in that they can create tools or clothes and even farm small patches of ground to make their own food. Occasionally, ferals are found in human homes, 'borrowing' small discarded items from the larger humans and pokegirls in residence, while using them to scrape out an existence right under the noses of the residents of the house. The notable difference between ferals and tamed pokegirls is that ferals of the breed are notorious hoarders of random objects, as well as being highly skittish of other beings. Their memories also fade, to where they can't remember what they did the previous day, or why they're even so afraid of other beings. The easiest way to capture ferals of the breed is to place out old fashioned live traps for rodents (though reinforced for these fairy pokegirls are much, much stronger than mere rodents) baited with sweet food or shiny objects.

It's very rare for a human girl to threshold into a Layer Angel, though the first sign is the skin changing from normal skin tones into different colors, though this isn't always the case. Skin color change (if any) is followed by shrinking down to their new size. Thresholders often hide after becoming a pokegirl, often to the point of going feral and then inhabiting their own homes while their parents list their now 'missing' daughter as a runaway.
