As the war dragged on human forces eventually learned that a direct approach to fighting the more powerful breeds often seen in combat only lead to heavy losses, requiring new combat tactics. In order to counter the rise of guerrilla warfare, Sukebe created a new breed to aid his many existing elf breeds in hunting down and eliminating targets hiding in forested regions. These new pokegirls had the ability to summon armor that covers the entirety of their long serpentine bodies. While lacking any inherent method of camouflage, the breed was designed to use a combination of their florakinesis and command plants to cover their steel armored bodies in a layer of thick foliage, allowing these pokegirls to disguise themselves with whatever local plant matter is available. After the war, being rediscovered first in the white lotus league, the breed gained the title Nagini, not to be confused with the Naga, due to their resemblance to the female deities of the same name commonly found in Hindu mythology. It wasn’t until 108 AS, almost two decades after the rediscovery of the Ulupi, that researchers studying this line of plant based serpents discovered that a metal jacket was a viable evolution catalyst for the evolution of the Kadru into the Nagini. Today these pokegirls are most commonly seen in the harems of wandering tamers and hunters.

Upon evolving, these pokegirls gain the ability to take on a very near human bipedal form, with physical attributes that run the gamut of human appearances. Builds, skin tones, heights, and breast sizes found in this breed generally vary within human norms, though hair and eye colors can be almost any color in the visible spectrum. Upon shifting, Naginis gain elongated lower bodies similar to other serpent breeds. These snake-like bodies often range from four and a half to seven meters (15-25 feet), starting just under their vagina, which, while similar in appearance to that of a human's, is completely forward facing and in the area of a human woman's mons pubis. The scales on the lower halves of these pokegirls can vary just as wildly was their hair and eye colors, giving these pokegirls a wide range of appearances.

In their natural state, these pokegirls could be easily confused for a Naga. It is only when the need for combat arises that these arboreal armored serpent pokegirls live up to their namesake. Like breeds such as the Battle Angel and Shadetaura, in both their bipedal and serpent forms, these pokegirls have the ability to summon a set of form fitting armor that covers their entire bodies, including their heads and long serpentine bodies. This armor doesn’t impede their movement in any way due to the fact that, on closer examination, it attaches to each individual scute on the ventral part of their long serpentine bodies, allowing a full range of motility and full protection. The style and design of this armor varies between individuals but typically takes on a scale-like appearance, with many small joints, along their lower halves. This allows the Nagini access to their great flexibility while armored. In addition to this, the breed often covers themselves with local flora not only to help camouflage their large forms but to bolster their incredible defenses even further. While not as powerful as the Elfqueen's command plants ability, the Nagini's aptitude in using this ability is generally very high, allowing them to grow whatever plants they need at speeds which allow them to be used in combat.

Using their enhanced sense of smell and heat sense, these pokegirls make excellent trackers. This combined with their camouflaged armor allows the Nagini to sneak up on their prey and strike at the opportune moment. Offensively, the breed often relies heavily on their command plants and leaf blade techniques to create weapons for themselves out of their environment. Unlike most pokegirls, the Nagini’s leaf blade tends to take the form of spears, lances, and pole-axes rather than the typical sword configuration common to other elemental blade techniques. Using their long lower bodies for balance, Naginis often make potent combatants using their pole weapons to keep their enemies at a distance while dealing damage in return. When in combat in areas that lack heavy vegetation these pokegirl are at a minor disadvantage but they most often fall back on their speed and defense to tire their opponents out before finishing off with their offensive plant and steel techniques. Overall, they often do extremely well against elemental types that they are strong against and poorly against those elements they are weak to.

Other than a competitive streak found in many members of this breed, personalities vary greatly from individual to individual and whether or not they can make a good alpha or beta should be decided on a case to case basis. Unlike some snake-like Pokegirls, Nagini generally prefer to tame in their serpentine forms due to the added intimacy afforded to them by their scaly coils. Due to their lack of enhanced strength in their tails, restraints aren’t needed. The taming habits of these pokegirls vary from one individual to another but in general most have no inhibitions for taming. Physical contact is generally very important to the breed. Coiling their bodies around their partners is their primary form of intimacy, with many preferring to remain coiled with their partners throughout the night. Bonded Nagini, can be difficult to pry off. When deeply bonded with their tamer, many tend to almost never leave his or her side. These pokegirls are fiercely protective of what they consider to be theirs, usually their tamer and harem-sisters, and often think of them as extensions of themselves. Their competitive tendencies become much calmer after a fight, win or lose, or after a thorough taming. Most tend to also become happy and content after cuddling with their tamer and harem sisters. Nagini are skilled lovers, with many preferring to coil around their partners bodies and do the thrusting themselves while holding their partners closely. When they are particularly pleased with their tamers they often prefer to coil around them and use their vaginal muscles to slowly constrict and caress their tamer’s member, doing most of the work. For female tamers and their harem sisters, not only does the Nagini retain the long tongue technique from when they were a Kadru but they also gain the grass cock and fruit juice techniques, making them quite capable of pleasing both genders as needed. After a session with their sexual partners, Nagini tend to prefer curling tightly around them in a protective manner before falling asleep.

Ferals tend to be very shy, preferring to run away rather than fight. If backed into a corner and unable to run, they have been noted to defend themselves with their Plant and steel based moves until they are either captured or have found a way to escape. Feral Nagini usually make their homes in heavily forested regions away from humans, living as solitary creatures that carve out their own territory using their ability to speed up the growth of plants around them to make dens for themselves out of the local flora. Because their dietary requirements are so close to that of a human's, feral Nagini often are found using their command plants ability to grow edible plants around their dens for food. Threshold is rare but becoming more common in those with Nagini and Kadru ancestries. Within the first week, thresholders are usually terrified as their human skin on their lower haves is sloughed off in large sheets. Leaving their legs covered in fine snake-like scales that have grown in underneath. Within the next couple of weeks their legs begin to fuse together and elongate, leaving them with a fully developed tail in the place of their legs.
