Discovered in 111AS by a Watcher named Mike Hunt, these equine pokegirls are one of Cocooner's creations. Though this discovery was accredited to the watcher, the videos of the his Cameragirl were the proof found along with the first of the breed. The watcher and his harem had been studying a herd of Ponytaur when they found the pokegirls missing. Searching the area, the young watcher discovered that the pokegirls had been eaten by the Legendary. Mike approached Cocooner, and requested an interview, to which the Legendary began to bargain with him, he made the mistake of agreeing that in exchange for the interview, he would let 'everyone' be a subject of the genetics Legendary. True to her word, after the interview, he let his harem of four out, and Cocooner promptly sprayed all five of them with her genetic glue. Found days later after the Watcher failed to report in, the first of the Dullburro breed was discovered. Since then, small herds have been discovered in almost all the leagues, and it is speculated that Cocooner seeded these areas with her creations.

Dullburros have a battle form and a passive form like a Ponytaur, but that is where the similarities of the two equine pokegirls end. The breed's passive form looks completely human, and their bust in both forms ranges from a B to C cup. Eyes of the breed tend toward earth colors and their hair usually matches the fur of their battle form, gray with a black cross, brown, or black; though sometimes their hair may be white. On average, they're rather short, the breed reaching just under the five foot mark, though in their tauric form their height is around seven feet.

Members of this equine breed have a low intelligence, being compared often to Bunnygirls. However the breed aren't distracted easily, they simply don't have that much mental capacity. This doesn't get in the way of the breed's personality, as most are cheerful without the exuberance of most of the more `bubbly' pokegirls. They take direction well and whether as a pet or in a harem, the get along well with all but the most abrasive of personality types. They do however, have a stubborn streak, which extends to obeying their masters. Indeed, until the breed has been bonded and accepts a human as their master, even their old master's commands are followed. It's considered common courtesy to command a Dullburro to listen to their new master when transferring ownership of the breed, otherwise things become difficult until an Alpha bond forms.

When frightened, this stubborn streak has them choosing fight over flight in a majority of the time, and even when feral, these donkey pokegirls will not run away easily. Shifting to their tauric form for battle, Dullburro use kicks, earthquakes, and stomp attacks to mow down their opponents. One quirk of the breed is that this line of donkey pokegirls cannot learn how to Dig like other ground types, limiting their actions to above ground tactics. In it's place, however, is a more potent Yell that is unique to the breed line. Also called 'Bray' this empowered version of Yell deafens opponents and freezes them momentarily in their tracks; the move being considered a low powered sonic attack. Only deaf pokegirls and the Dullburro line are immune to this effect, though the freezing effect can be lessened if the pokegirl in question has ever been exposed to the breed's Bray. These pokegirls fare decently in sex battles, though they have to be taught moves.

Dullburro are fairly easy to tame, once an alpha bond is established, as they lean to the whims of their master in what ever positions and sexual preferences they have. They do get confused when faced with role playing and BDSM, though if explained carefully the breed can be subverted into the lifestyle. Light restraints are recommended for the breed, though a few positions are available that won't have as great a risk of injury to the tamer, particularly if the pokegirl is taken from behind and commanded not to move.

Feral Dullburros tend to stay in herds, quietly grazing and occasionally using a non-attack version of their bray to call each other back together. When faced with a threat, most of them will begin to Bray first before Stomping or using Earthquake. Feral Dullburros are somewhat territorial, so it's recommend that any tamer wishing to catch one use extreme caution and earplugs for themselves and their harem, though plant and water types can bring them down.

Threshold into a Dullburro is very rare, and wasn't recorded before the early 200's. Tresholders find their mental faculties slipping first, most often their memory, though their higher order thinking skills also slip. Their hair and eye color changes, though it isn't until they are fully a pokegirl that they're able to access their tauric form, the first transformation usually happening soon after they become a pokegirl. Some thresholders have the sense of mind to obtain a Dark Stone or Psi Crystal to regain their failing minds, others are simply shipped off to ranches to begin their new life as a pokegirl.
