Recently discovered, this breed is odd amongst pokegirls due to the dual-nature of species. Evolving via use of a Fox E-medal, both the Firemaiden and Ice Maiden breed evolves into their own versions of the Foxymaiden. As the breed comes in two varieties, each has been listed as either "Hot" (the ones that evolve from a Firemaiden) and "Cold" (the ones who evolve from an Ice Maiden). As often happens with e-medal evolutions, both breeds that evolve into this one gain characteristics of the vulpines, namely a fox-like tail and ears that are reminiscent of a Kitsune's, though typically twice to three times longer. This often makes them teased by other fox-types as being a hybrid of fox and elf. Researches have found no record of this pokegirl from records of the Revenge War, supporting the theory that they are an accidental evolution in their own right.

Physically, the pokegirls that evolve do change quite a bit. Other than sprouting long, furry pointed ears and a tail that is about as long as their own legs, the Foxymaiden's hair often changes color from what they used to have. If the pokegirl used to be a Firemaiden, often the resulting hair color is in darker shades- black, purple, etc. If the pokegirl was an Ice Maiden, their hair will be a lighter color, perhaps not changing much from before- white, light blue, or blonde are the most common shades. The pokegirl averages around five and a half to six feet tall, almost never growing any taller than that. The main 'change', as some might consider it, is the temperament of the two varieties of the breed. The "Hot" Foxymaiden, as they have come to be known as, is typically passive, aloof, and quiet compared to their previous breed. In comparison, the "Cold" Foxymaiden is loud, friendly, boisterous and often have trouble shutting up once they start to talk. Researchers don't understand the changes, but the quirk is something that makes it quite simple to tell which variety any specific individual happens to be.

In battle, the two types of Foxymaiden are just as different as they are in personality. The "Hot" kind like to strategize, conserving motion and energy while striking fluidly and with precision to maximize the effectiveness of their techniques in order to finish a battle quickly. As a result, the "Hot" Foxymaiden is one of the few pokegirls that should be watched carefully if one wishes to take the opponent alive, or else they may use deadly force when it is unwanted. "Cold" Foxymaidens, on the other hand, enjoy battling all-out and are wasteful with their tactics and techniques, typically using their abilities to cover the battleground with snow before using both the temperature drop and the snow itself as her own weapons. This tactic also allows her, after the battle, to start a snowball fight, which has been recorded on many occassions over the years. Both breeds typically use their ghost-type techniques to confuse and disorient larger numbers of pokegirls during a battle, often enveloping themselves with Scent Alteration and Invis to infiltrate the opponents ranks before striking out with their brand of mayhem (also known as their fire or ice type attacks). Researchers have found that Foxymaidens do not naturally develop true Ghost-type attacks, instead naturally gaining support techniques upon evolution.

Both types of Foxymaiden are affectionate with their tamers, though the "Hot" kind prefer to be in private before allowing themselves to show too much affection with their tamer. The "Cold" kind don't seem to care at all about their surroundings, their immunity to the cold allowing them to (and it seems to be a preference) be taken outdoors, regardless of the weather at the time. In a harem, however, these pokegirls are not suited for any position of authority. Though the "Hot" Foxymaiden is more serious than their "Cold" sisters, their aloof personality makes them a poor choice even for becoming a Beta within a harem, let alone an Alpha. "Cold" Foxymaidens prefer to play and have fun, and get along great with just about any pokegirl that doesn't mind having an ear yakked off. Both do well in harems of any sort, though both have strong personalities that may conflict with other pokegirls at any given time. One thing that the breed enjoys is giving Omikuji, which is an ancient form of fortune telling. Oddly, their fortune telling skills are rather accurate, as one once told Bellarophon Jones his fortune no more than five minutes before a fateful encounter with Macavity. As a result, Foxymaidens as a breed are banned world-wide from any casinos or gambling establishments.

There are few feral Foxymaidens, though they have been seen from time to time in the wild. These pokegirls are often in packs of other feral vulpine pokegirls, typically defending any weaker Kitsune or other member of the pack from attack while others go after their prey. Few ferals escape the massed fire and ice tactics of such explosive feral packs, and it is known that some Vulpine packs have taken over smaller Buzzbreast hives after killing the Buzzqueen and her supporters with their massed flame and ice techniques after using Phase to enter the hive and confuse the pokegirls inside using Scent Alteration and Fear Aura techniques. In one recorded instance, a Dronza was fought off through these oddly intelligent feral tactics, leading researchers to recommend that tamers try not to take on a pack of vulpines without a plan that includes a teleport-capable pokegirl. Due to the nature of the evolution of two pokegirl breeds into a Foxymaiden, there have been no known thresholds, and pokekits are extremely rare.
