Chapter 6

Lucretia leaned against him as he draped an arm around her waist. They stood together and watched the ground fall away as the airship climbed. Propellers bit the air and it turned and lumbered east towards the rising sun. The Ladyien glanced at him. “Where is Isabella?” She smiled teasingly. “This is becoming a habit when we leave someplace.”
He smiled back. “It’s not the same this time. She’s been on airships before, so this isn’t new to her. She’s having a drink in the lounge.” He glanced at his watch. “I’ll be joining her in a little bit for lunch.”
“How are things set up for your harem during the trip?”
“First class passengers are allowed to have one pokegirl out at a time during the day, as long as she isn’t too heavy. During the night, all pokegirls are supposed to be in their pokeballs. There’s not enough room to have separate taming accommodations, so we’re expected to tame our harems in our cabins.” He shrugged. “Isabella and I’ll make the necessary arrangements for privacy. When one of us is taming, the other will be in the lounge. That’s why she’s there now.”
“Oh? Who are you going to tame?” She gave him an amused look.
“Remember when we looked over the pokegirls we recently acquired?” She nodded. “I decided to keep the G-Poindexter as my noncombatant.”
“Her name is Brenda, isn’t it?”
He gave her an amused look. “Cute. As if I’d forget you have total recall. Brenda isn’t an unusual name and I don’t see any reason to change it. She’s been trained to be a medic and that will come in very useful for us.”
Lucretia nodded. “Good. We need one for you, if no one else.” She pulled her pokeball from his belt. “Then you need to put me up and go bring her into the harem. I’ll talk to her about the details as soon as you can arrange for us to be together.”
“That may not be until London.”
She shook her head hard enough for her hair to slap against his shoulder. “No, it won’t. Just arrange with Isabella to put up whichever one she has out for a while and Brenda and I’ll be able to talk.”
He cocked his head. “I’ll talk to her about it over lunch. I don’t see where she’ll have a problem with it. Tomorrow sometime should be good.”
Lucretia offered him the pokeball. “Sir, I have a question. What do the regular passengers have to do about taming their pokegirls? They sleep in a dormitory style.”
Nicodemus smiled. “They tame there, too. Battling isn’t allowed, and staring is rude. Still, it happens. I’ve heard it’s a great way for voyeurs to get their kicks.”
She made a face. “I’m glad we’re in first class.”

Nicodemus slowly drifted towards wakefulness. An eye slitted open and glanced around without moving. When he realized it was too dark in their stateroom to see anything, he closed it again. His nose tickled and he nuzzled into her hair to press his lips against a warm neck. There was a quiet murmur and she shifted to press her ass against his groin. He woke a little more and realized that he was cupping her breasts almost protectively. His lips curled in a smile and he teased her nipples into hardness.
She gasped slightly and rubbed herself against his growing hardness, lifting a leg just enough to let him slip between hers before she closed it, trapping him against her warmth.
His fingers slid slowly down her body and traced through a light scattering of curls and she gasped again as they slid into her slick warmth. He slipped two fingers between her lips and rubbed lightly against the hood of her clitoris. She groaned almost soundlessly and pushed towards his fingers, but he carefully didn’t enter her and continued to tease her clit.
Abruptly, she pulled his hand away and twisted in his arms to kiss him hungrily, draping a leg over his hip. Nicodemus returned the kiss; his tongue dancing with hers as he slowly let her pull him on top of her. He broke the kiss and moved to kiss his way down her throat. She arched beneath him with a happy noise as his lips moved down her body until he captured a nipple between them. He sucked gently and she hissed in pleasure.
That hiss became a moan when he slipped his hand between her legs and teased her clit again. He slipped a finger into her as he suckled and she shuddered beneath him. Her hands slid over the back of his head and pulled him against her chest as he slowly thrust into her until she moaned again and clenched around his fingers.
She reached down between them and wrapped her hand around him, pumping slowly before pulling him toward her. “Please,” she whispered. She slid his head up and down in her wetness before pressing him against her opening. “Please,” she whispered again.
She sighed with pleasure as he sank into her. He pulled back until only the tip of his cock rested inside her before sliding back in. She moaned loudly and wrapped her legs around his waist, urging him faster. He complied, speeding up until her pussy tightened around him and her nails dug into his back before she pulled him down to kiss him again.
He rose up and began moving faster, burying his full length with each thrust. Her hips rose to meet him each time and her breath began coming in gasps as they built together. She locked her legs tightly around his waist and pulled him deep as she convulsed beneath him from her climax. A heartbeat later he joined her, filling her with his essence.
She pulled him down on top of her and wrapped her arms tightly around him as she almost purred beneath him. She stroked his hair slowly and he snuggled against a soft breast and drifted off.

Light shining in through the window finally woke him. A warm body was wrapped around his and he slowly extricated himself before sitting up and looking around blearily. He frowned slightly and picked his watch up to check the time. “It’s morning.” He stared out the window for a moment as that information sank into his mind. “It’s morning? I spent all night here with Brenda? Crap. Isabella is going to be pissed.”
The blankets moved. “Nicodemus,” a sleepy voice asked, “what are you babbling about?”
                He froze. “Isabella?”
Blue eyes looked up at him curiously. “Who did you think it was?” She sat up and kissed him gently. “Good morning.” She stretched languorously and draped herself against him. “Are we going to go for breakfast or did you want to spend more time in bed?”
He eyed her nude form for a heartbeat before giving a tiny shrug and wrapping his arms around her. “I think breakfast might be a good idea.”
She sighed. “You didn’t know it was me, did you?”
“No, but I don’t regret it.”
                “You don’t?” She sounded skeptical.
“Well, not much. I was content with our relationship the way it was and I know you thought that you had to reward me with your body for letting you travel with me. I never intended that.”
She smacked him lightly on the shoulder. “I figured that out while we were traveling to the Slot League. At first it was cute, but then I got horny and it got frustrating.”
“You’ve got three pokegirls. I know you’ve been taming them.”
She gave him an incredulous look. “I am not a lesbian. I like sleeping with pokegirls just fine, but I like men too. I didn’t want to sleep with Murchison because I didn’t have a choice about it.” She frowned. “If you’d insisted, I’d probably feel that way about you as well.”
“How do you feel about me?”
Her frown deepened. “I’m not sure. I don’t mean to insult you, but there’s something about you that’s not quite right.”
He responded with a faint smile. “That’s actually rather perceptive. I’ve been told there’s something wrong with me.”
                “Oh? What?”
He shrugged. “I’m not completely sure, but I don’t seem to feel the same way other people do. Naomi says I’m kind of empty inside. It’s why I wasn’t allowed to become a Tamer. They were worried that I had no social compassion or morals. I know what’s wrong or right, but I only value it if it affects me.” He snorted. “They figured I might take a harem and do things to hurt society. As if so called normal people don’t do that all the time.”
“That has got to be one of the dumbest reasons to refuse to let someone become a Tamer that I’ve ever heard of.” Isabella sat up abruptly. “You’re an exemplary Tamer. I’ve never seen a harem jell so quickly before.”
“That’s the natural trainer blood gift. It helps me to see what my pokegirls need to motivate them to learn and to give me their all when I need it.” He grinned briefly. “Thanks for helping me to become a Tamer, by the way.”
She smiled warmly. “It seems to have been a good deal of benefit to me as well. Without you, I’d still be Murchison’s whore.”
“You were never a whore, Isabella. I don’t know how you got involved with Team Zenith, but you have always been a lady. Perhaps you were a bit over proud and haughty when we met, but still you were a lady.”
She blinked. “Thank you. That’s quite a compliment.” Her eyes narrowed slightly.  “Are you using that natural trainer thing on me?”
He shrugged. “It’s not something that I can just turn on or off. It’s in my best interest if you’re happy with me. Fortunately, this time I could please you with the truth. I’ve known whores. You aren’t one.”
She nodded slowly, her face somber. “If I’m not one, then why was I raped?”
He frowned. “When you said that many men want to have sex with you because you’re a human and they think it’s different somehow, you were right. A lot of people think that and I suspect they did too. However, what you need to remember that they won’t ever hurt you or anyone else ever again.”
“If I’d listened to you, would I still have been raped?”
“What I wanted to do would have made us harder to find. I didn’t know they would come after us like that or I would have insisted on hiding the camp. Even with those precautions, if they had found us, yes, they would have still raped you if the opportunity had arisen.”
“And you killed them for it.”
He watched her cautiously before nodding. “I don’t really understand why, but I didn’t want them to rape you again. I’m sorry I was away when you got attacked.” That was some of the truth. The rest covered the tiny detail that they had proven themselves to be enemies and had been dealt with appropriately.
“Are you really sorry about it?”
                He looked suddenly uncomfortable. “Yes.”
“Perhaps you aren’t as unfeeling as you think.” She leaned over and kissed him on the cheek. “Nicodemus, one night of sex does not make us lovers. You can relax.” She looked thoughtful. “Still, we do have a week before we get to London. Who knows what might happen by then.” She laughed at his expression and wrapped the blanket around her before heading for the bathroom.

Isabella swirled the wine in her glass and glanced at Nicodemus as Lucretia talked quietly with Brenda. “She doesn’t look anything like me.” Her tone was almost as cool as the ice in his lemonade.
He shook his head slowly as he sensed danger in the air. “She’s a brunette where you’re a blonde. Her eyes are brown and yours are blue. But her hair is short like yours and her figure is slender, too. Still, you’re right. If I had been wide awake, I would never have made that mistake and confused the two of you.” He decided to change the subject before she could wonder if she should be upset. “I was thinking that once we’re in the Blue League, we might head for Glasgow. Scotland and Ireland are much less developed than England. It might be a good place to set up a base and hunt.”
The look she gave him said that the previous discussion wasn’t over yet, but she didn’t pursue it for now. “I don’t know much about the Blue League. I never expected to end up there.”
“It’s not a bad place to live. The people are supposed to be friendly as long as you don’t offend them. It’s cooler and dryer than what we’re used to, but I hope it won’t take long to acclimate.” He pulled up a map on his pokedex. “Here, take a look.”
“How would we get to Glasgow?’ Isabella frowned at the map. “How far is it?”
“It is four hundred miles or, as they calculate things, six hundred kilometers. There are wagon trains that travel between the major cities and, if we book passage on one of those, we can get to Glasgow in less than a month. It’s slower than going it alone, but it could be safer. If we headed off by ourselves, we could be there in a week or so. I’ve checked and airships are also available, but we’d have to hunt to get the money for the trip and, by the time we had it, we might be nearly to Glasgow if we’d taken the wagon train.”
“Do you want to book passage or go alone?”
“I haven’t decided yet. It’ll depend on the local conditions and feral issues between the two cities.”
She nodded. “What are you going to do for the rest of the trip?”
“I’m not sure. Training is out. I suppose I’ll be impatient.”
                Isabella chuckled.

The alarm was an understated two tone chime that sounded softly. The attendant in the lounge froze for a second and then began hurriedly gathering glasses and plates, ignoring the protests of the people using them.
The PA clicked and hummed. “May I have your attention please? All first class passengers please report to the lounge immediately. All standard class passengers need to proceed to their dormitories. Crew, rig the ship for violent maneuvers.”
Nicodemus leaned around Isabella and looked at Kay. “What are they worried about?”
She blinked and her eyes unfocused. “We’re being tracked by a flock of feral pokegirls.”
“Lucretia, go to our cabin and get my pack.” He turned his attention back to the Kay-D-Bra as the Ladyien hurried off on her mission. “What kind of ferals?”
“They don’t know yet. The captain is hoping they’ll go away.” She frowned. “They’re concerned because most pokegirls would be put off by the sheer size of the airship.”
“Why do you think that they want everyone to go to the lounge?” Isabella gave him a curious look.
“It’s in the center of the ship. Our cabins are on the outer portion of our deck and are vulnerable to attack.”
Lucretia raced back and dropped the pack in his lap. “Sir, here you go.”
“Thank you.” He rummaged through the bag and pulled out his electronic binoculars. “Let’s go to the observation room.” He frowned when Isabella bounced to her feet. “You don’t have to come.”
“Every time there’s trouble and I let you out of my sight, I get hurt. Apparently, it’s safest around you,” she shot back. “Now let’s go. Come, Kay.”

There were two crewmembers in the observation room when they arrived, sweeping the area with binoculars. A Foxglove and two Harpies stood around watching them and looking bored. One of the men glanced at the new arrivals. “Please return to the lounge.”
Nicodemus shook his head. “I’ve got a Thundrix I’ll loan to the defense and a G-Poindexter who’s trained as a healer.”
The crewman blinked. “Just a sec.” He keyed his throat com and whispered into it for a moment. Finally, he nodded. “The captain says you can stay, but not to deploy unless we tell you to. Hopefully, we’ll take care of any threats without you ever having to become involved.”
“Very well.” Nicodemus pulled his radio out of his pack and clipped it on. He glanced at Lucretia. “Radio check.” She nodded.
He released Elena and handed her a bag. “Load your pouch. We may be fighting a force of feral pokegirls, type currently unknown. Their number is also unknown.”
She nodded. “Do we know anything, sir?”
“Not really, but I do know that if you have to fight and you lose, they might crash the airship and we’ll all die.”
“Then I won’t lose.” She shook out her wings. “I will not let you die, sir.”
“I’d appreciate that.” He chuckled and she smiled. “Lucretia will keep an eye on you and help to guide you if necessary.”
“I would expect no less from my alpha.” The Thundrix handed the bag back. “My pouches are full. I’ve got a couple of potions and a bunch of toys.”
Both crewmembers stiffened. “They’re moving in.”
One of them pointed and Nicodemus raised his binoculars. “There are two of them.” He paled. “Dragons of some kind.” He plugged his pokedex into the binoculars and looked again. “Dragonesses. Wait, one of them is a Whorizard. In any case, we have a problem.”
He turned back to Elena as one of the crewmen started urgently whispering into his throat mike. The other continued watching the feral pokegirls as they banked and slowly began to close on the airship, their powerful wings taking deep bites of air with each stroke. “You’ll need to keep moving. Use quick attack as much as possible to both close and open up the range. The Dragoness isn’t weak to your electrical attacks, but she’s not especially resistant either. The Whorizard, on the other hand, is weak against electricity.” He cocked his head. “Ignore the Whorizard if you can get away with it. Go for the Dragoness’ wings if you can, but don’t put yourself in unnecessary jeopardy. If you get into a lot of trouble, evade and come back here for healing. Once the Dragoness has been dealt with, we’ll clean up the Whorizard.”
“Yessir. When will I fight?” Elena watched the oncoming pokegirls with a hungry look.
“I’m sure it will be soon enough. I think the airship people want to try to drive them off first without our help.”
“With all due respect, sir, that’s stupid.”
“I tend to agree with you, but it’s their ship. They get to try if they want to.”
                “Yessir. As you order.”
As soon as it became apparent that the feral pokegirls intended to intercept the airship, the Harpies and the Foxglove went out to fight. The skirmish was short but intense. The Whorizard spiraled down towards the ground while the Dragoness sustained minor injuries. One Harpy didn’t return. The other was headed towards the ground, her wings crippled, when her Tamer recovered her. The Foxglove fled for the imagined safety of the observation room.
The Dragoness followed her in almost leisurely.
Lucretia set up the PPHU and plucked the Harpy’s pokeball from her Tamer as Nicodemus spoke quietly to Elena. “Be careful. Follow the plan. I don’t want to lose you.”
“Yessir. I know what to do. Be my eyes.”
                “I will.”
The Thundrix glowed briefly as she used speed storm and then exploded past the startled Dragoness with quick attack, zipping by before her foe could respond. The feral pokegirl almost stalled and then swung around to watch as the Thundrix dove for the treetops and raced away.
One of the crewman grabbed Nicodemus by the front of his shirt. “GET HER TO FIGHT DAMN IT!”
Isabella grabbed him and dragged him off as Nicodemus moved to break the man’s fingers. She slapped the crewman. “You just calm down. He has a plan.”
Satisfied that the Thundrix was no enemy, the Dragoness turned back towards the airship and began closing rapidly.
Nicodemus watched her closely. “Ready.” Lucretia tossed the healed Harpy’s pokeball in the general direction of her Tamer and moved up next to Nicodemus. “Elena, Lucretia, execute.”
Elena performed a perfect Immelman turn and angled directly at the Dragoness as she used mach breaker. Lucretia used squall. The blast of air did the startled Dragoness no damage, but slowed her forward progress to a crawl, making her an almost stationary target for the Thundrix’s attack.
The air around Elena glowed as plasma swirled around her and she hit the unsuspecting Dragoness with thunder right before impact. The Dragoness cartwheeled through the sky and fought for control as Elena climbed quickly, using quick attack to open the distance between them.
The Dragoness glowed as she used dragon rage and energy burst from her in an omnidirectional blast that shook the airship and staggered Elena. Windows shattered in the observation room and the crewmembers cursed and ducked. Nicodemus ignored it, even when flying glass sliced his arm open.
The Thundrix glowed as she once more used speed storm and she did a quick loop, lined up on her target and used mach breaker again.  She took the Dragoness squarely between her wings, hammering her in the back.
The Dragoness screamed and plummeted towards the ground, pulling out just as she hit the treetops. She smashed through the canopy in a spray of branches and leaves and lost control again. The sound of her hitting the forest floor below could be heard in the observation room.
Elena swooped down and hurled a pokeball as she started circling. A moment later she cursed and used thunder before she threw another. “Damned lizard can’t raise her head and she still got out.”       She stalled and dropped into the hole the Dragoness had ripped in the trees. “That fixed her but good.”
Nicodemus weighed Elena’s damage against all the other variables. “Go after the Whorizard. I want her too.”
“Yessir. I’ll bring her back nice and snug.” She laughed into the mike as she appeared again and climbed as she turned to backtrack upon their trail.

The steward stopped in front of their table. “Coordinator Azrael, the captain would like to see you right away.”
Nicodemus glanced at Isabella and shrugged before turning back to the steward. “What about?”
The young man looked shocked. “Sir, it’s not my place to ask. The captain ordered me to take you to her. She didn’t tell me why.”
Nicodemus looked at him evenly for a long moment. “I’m not at the captain’s beck and call. However, I’ll go with you.”
The captain was a stocky woman with silver shot red hair. Her bright green eyes watched him without emotion. “Coordinator Azrael, the Dragoness did some serious damage to my ship and some are saying it’s your fault.”
“I did what was necessary to bring her down. Her attack wasn’t my fault.”
“Why didn’t you engage her farther out?”
“My battle plan involved my Ladyien as well as my Thundrix. I wasn’t going to put Lucretia out there to be a punching bag for that Dragoness while Elena was moving into position. It was very possible that she would have been incapacitated before Elena was ready.”
The captain eyed him steadily for a moment. “I agree with your assessment and my report will reflect what we have discussed. Thank you for saving my ship and all the people on it.” She stuck out her hand.
Nicodemus shook it firmly. “You are welcome.”
He frowned to himself on the way back to the lounge. It was one of those things he supposed he didn’t understand. After all, he was saving his own life when he took down the Dragoness, why thank him?

Nicodemus frowned. “Did they say why we were going to stay here for a week?” The airship had put in at a refueling station on one of the islands in the Crescent League.
Isabella gave him an amused smile. “They’ve got to repair the damage to the airship before we can go on. A couple of the helium bags were ruptured and some of the remaining ones have leaks. They used up almost all their reserves to get here.”
                “What about us?”
“They’ll put us up in a local bed and breakfast. I think we should stay put in case they get the repairs done early.”
Nicodemus nodded. “That sounds like a good idea to me. It’ll give me a chance to tame the Dragoness and the Whorizard.”
“Are you going to keep them?”
“I’m thinking about keeping at least one of them. I’ll sell Dorcas to make a place.” He frowned. “I hope this place has a pokegirl center. I want to use their restraints for the initial tamings.” A smile flickered on his lips. “I’m too fragile to try the stuff in the stories, you know, taming feral Griffons without restraints and relying on my own natural strength, personal charm and proper upbringing to keep her docile.”
Isabella suddenly looked vulnerable. “Do you want separate rooms?”
He shook his head. “It would be out of character.”
She nodded and looked cheerful again. “You’re right. I’ll take care of our room if you want to look for a pokegirl center.” Gesturing to Kay, she moved off.
Nicodemus watched her go with an uncertain expression.

The Whorizard materialized and looked around slowly. She bowed her head to Nicodemus and blinked when he waved her to a stool. She settled on it, folding her wings. “Master.” Her eyes narrowed at the sight of Elena standing next to him. “I remember you. You captured me.”
The Thundrix just grinned back at her.
Her head swiveled back to Nicodemus. “Is she my alpha?” She had a surprisingly sweet soprano.
“No, she’s not. This is Elena. My alpha is Lucretia and she’s a Ladyien. Do you have a name?”
The Whorizard frowned and shook her head. “Not really, master. I ran away after I thresholded into a CharAmanda and I don’t remember ever being captured before.”
                “What was your name then?”
“Kelly. But I know that your first Tamer is supposed to change your name when you join his harem.”
He eyed her as he felt a faint stirring of curiosity. “Why did you run away?”
“I was scared. My family didn’t want me and they were planning to sell me. I hoped that if I could stay away long enough, they’d decide they wanted to keep me. Apparently, I stayed away too long.”   She sighed heavily. “Master, will you keep me?”
He rubbed his nose as he thought. Whorizards were tough and she had the potential to be very useful. “I think I will.”
“Thank you, master.” Her wings unfolded slowly. “I will do my best to make sure you don’t regret that decision. What is to be my name?”
                “Your name is Hestia.”
“Hestia. That sounds nice. Thank you, master.”

He activated the pokeball and the Dragoness appeared. She watched him warily as he pointed at a padded stool. “Sit down.” Her eyes flicked to Tabitha and back to him.
Slowly, she settled onto the stool, perching gingerly. “You tamed me.”
“You were feral. Do you have a name?”
“My name is Linda. My Tamer was Joseph Lancaster and he was originally from Sapphron City. That’s where he got me. I was delta bonded to him and after he was killed, I tried to get back to Sapphron. I intended to get there before I could go feral, but I was attacked by a feral Whorizard and injured. That’s all I remember. I would like to go back to his family. I belong with them.”
She relaxed when he nodded. “I’ll contact them and see what can be arranged.”
“Thank you, sir. Could I be put into storage until then? I belong to the Lancaster family and I would prefer not to be tamed by anyone else.”
He reached for her pokeball. “I think that would work out well.” After returning her, he handed the pokeball to Lucretia. “Put that in the pokepack for storage.”
She nodded. “What arrangements will you make with the family?”
“I’ll give them the right of first refusal. If they can’t meet my price, I’ll give her an L5 cycle and put her up for auction.”
“Yes, sir. I’ll get the information I need from Linda and send them a message if you’d like.”
“Thank you.” He steepled his fingers under his chin and looked thoughtfully at his alpha. “I was hoping to keep her, but if she’s going to be like that, then I’ll go ahead and keep Hestia instead.”
“Sir, you don’t think you could bring her around?” The Ladyien sounded surprised.
He gave her a look that was half amusement, half glare. “I can make anyone work if I want to badly enough. Winning her loyalty would just take a bit more effort and I’m just not sure she’s worth the trouble I’d have to go through.”
“Yes, sir; I’m sorry if I sounded like I didn’t have faith in you.”
He sighed. “No; if you don’t, then I need to know it.   I told you that when we first met.”
“Yes, sir; I remember.” She smiled slightly. “I think it’s a good thing you aren’t going to keep her, sir. She sounded kind of whiney and Elena, Tabitha and I can’t stand whiners.” Her eyes narrowed slightly. “Sir, I’m curious. Are you going to keep taming Isabella?”
“I don’t think she would call it that.”
“Yes, sir; I doubt she would too. Still, if she takes up any more of your time, I’ll need to adjust the rotation in the harem to accommodate an eighth pokegirl.” She gave him a cautious smile.
He gave her a thoughtful look before smiling back. “I see your point. She has been as demanding as anyone in the harem. Isabella seems to need me to want her right now; so the answer is yes.”
“Yes, sir; I’ll make the necessary arrangements.”
He cocked his head slightly. “You are my alpha, Lucretia, and you’ve been a good one. I think you don’t have to call me sir all the time anymore, at least not in private.”
Her mouth fell open. “What should I call you?”
“My name is Nicodemus. You can call me that.”
Her mouth dropped again. “I’m not sure I’d be comfortable calling you that, sir.”
“If not, then how about you just don’t call me sir? Later, if you grow comfortable with that, I might reward you again and let you use my name.”
She looked deeply into his eyes and swallowed hard. “I think I would like that.” Her mouth moved in the word “sir” but she didn’t vocalize it. “It will be difficult for me, I’ve never been allowed this much liberty since I became a Ladyba.” Again, her lips moved when she was done speaking.
                “You’ve earned it.”
“Thank you.” She slid into his lap. “This is an honor.” Pleased, her mind clicked back to business. “Will Tabitha be upset over loosing Dorcas?”
“I’ve talked to her about it and she says she’s not.” He stroked her hair and she leaned into his touch. “I can’t really see a reason to keep her. I’ve already got a Rapitaur and having Naomi means I don’t need a Unicorn.”
Lucretia made a humming noise as he ran his fingers through her hair. “Dorcas isn’t her daughter and adult Ponytaur don’t really care as long as they are part of a group. We’re Tabitha’s herd now.” She rolled her head back to look at him. “She’s even got a stallion in her new herd.” She smiled when he made a soft nickering noise. “That may turn her on, but I think it’s kind of silly.”
“Oh, and what should I do for you?”
She gave him an arch look. “Why don’t you just hold me?”
                So he did.
