Moogirls are a strange breed of Pokégirl, they were not recorded during the war, but where recorded soon after, and many researchers assume they were one of many breeds created by Cocooner after Sukebe's fall. As a breed, their average height is just above five feet tall, with a lush C cup bust. The breed runs between the normal range of Near human, with closer to human looking pokegirls sporting light hair colors, large red wings, and a pair of lightly pointed furred ears and short round furred tail of the same shade of her hair. A single antennae like appendage sprouts from their head, about three to four inches from the top of their skull, which ends in a tuft of red fur. More animalistic forms of the breed sport short light colored fur, with their normally a shade lighter, and vague bat-like characteristics. Hair on the animalistic breeds is longer, fur atop their heads, and a small, stubby tail. The antennae, usually called a 'tuft' is actually an acoustic sensor and transmitter, which gives the breed much of their control over sonic vibrations.

These acoustic styled pokegirls often have experimental personalities, many listening and fine tuning their sound making abilities in their slowly growing love for music and dance. Some of the breed delve into popular culture as well, keeping up to date on the latest fashions, slang, gestures and phrases to keep themselves on the cutting edge of popular culture. What stands the breed apart from many though, is their love of music and dance. Many Moogirls study and listen to several different genres of music before settling on a type they enjoy, though 'jacks of all trades' have been known to study everything and anything, as well as some becoming interested in either music theory or music history (or both) and study sound or dance as a near profession alongside history buffs or researchers that study Pre-Sukebe culture. Above all else, however, the breed's favored physical activity (aside from taming) is dancing, something these bat-like pokegirls excel at. For a Moogirl, dancing is the single coolest thing a person can do. Obviously, many of the breed enjoy the talents of Divas and Bardesses, and surprisingly, Moogirls are far better at keeping rhythm to dance than they are at singing themselves. This is a sore point for many of the breed, as they have excellent recognition of sound and vibrations, though their voices tend to be slightly off key when they attempt to sing.

Though considered more akin to a support pokegirl, Moogirls make highly effective battlers. They attack mainly through sonic moves, their Sonic Boom being a favored technique, as well as using their harmonic resonance ability to keep a beat and preform various dance techniques. These dance techniques are able to harness various elemental moves, and often give this breed the edge against elemental opponents, as despite being a normal type, they can use elemental moves through their dance techniques. The breed tends to hit hard and fast in battle, pausing only to heal themselves, or if they see a suitable technique to mimic that instead. Usually, however, the breed relies heavily on their sonic and dance techniques. The key to many of these sonic attacks, including their out of breed use of Kitten's Roar, is their tuft which supplies their Harmonic Resonance ability.

By vibrating tiny hairs on this red furred appendage, the Moogirl breed can amplify sounds that they produce, even creating a kind of metronome effect in keeping a beat for their dance moves. This tuft is somewhat sensitive to sound as well, allowing the pokegirl breed to also use it to amplify sound coming at them if they so wish, which is the source of their enhanced hearing. They're very protective of their tufts, and wary enough to know that the appendage will likely be targeted in either martial or sex battles. This bat pokegirl's tuft is something of an erogenous zone, and stroking it in the right manner gets the breed aroused quickly, making them a poor choice for sex battles.

In the taming room, music is a must for this pokegirl breed. They tend to not get aroused as easily without some form of music on, though tamers can stimulate the Moogirl's tufts into arousal. Tamers with either a Diva, Bardess, or other musically inclined pokegirls, or who are musically inclined themselves, often find this music loving pokegirl asking for a private performance. If granted, this breed often dances sensually to the music, and can sometimes even keep the rhythm of the song while taming, at least, right until the point of orgasm. In a harem setting with a Diva or Bardess, threesomes (or foursomes) with the musically inclined pokegirls are quite common, though most Moogirls will respect the wishes of their fellow pokegirls in preferences, and are not known to disobey their tamers.

Ferals of the breed are attracted to sounds, more so than many of the more visual predators of the pokegirl world. They use their Bass Explosion if other pokegirls venture too close in a threatening manner, and can startle easily. The breed can fly, though as a whole are rather clumsy at it, but in a straight flight their speed is fair and allows them to leave land bound predator pokegirls behind. Tamers are warned to carry hearing protection if they plan to hunt a feral Moogirl, as when cornered many cut loose with multiple Bass Explosions. One sure way to attract this breed, however, is to play music. This accompanied by the lack of enhanced strength allows a tamer to stand a chance of capturing them through taming if one of their pokegirls initiates a session by stimulating the pokegirl's tuft. Tamers should be warned not to try this method personally, as these agile pokegirls can easily permanently deafen a human with a point blank Bass Explosion.

Human girls who become Moogirls quickly find their love for music as an escape from the sadness of their loss of humanity. Threshold begins with fierce back aches as the wings grow in, followed by a slight itchiness of the scalp as the antennae for their tuft grows in. In cases were the girl becomes fully furred, their body hair begins growing in heavily, and the breed's tail is accompanied by back aches. Threshold Moogirls are often used in the entertainment industry, or rarely for research into calls, voice recognition, or the history of music by researchers.
