During the revenge war, many girls were created for the purpose of construction. From the pykrete producing abilities of the Coniferice to the stone shaping abilities of the Ahzi Dahaka, many breeds were used to create bridges and buildings needed for use in the war. One breed that was instrumental in the construction of many of Sukebe's underground labs was the Wurmira. Seldom seen by humans, they were often teamed up with rock and ground types in their construction duties. After the war, due to the fact that they didn't see much combat use and that very few were captured by humans, the breed became only a minor footnote in history. The breed wasn't widely recognized until 150 AS when a prominent researcher looking into the effects of the many types of E-Stones discovered that a diamond stone was found to be a viable evolution catalyst for the Pyrothon. In Modern times, the breed is often used by construction and mining companies to excavate and reinforce underground tunnels in addition to preventing cave-ins.

After evolving, the Wurmira gains the ability to change between three separate forms, a bipedal form, a hybrid form, and an inhumanoid form mostly used for digging. In all of their forms, these Pokégirls are covered in smooth, silky-soft scales that often come in darker earth tones such as black or dark grey on their dorsal side and lighter whites and greys on their ventral sides and faces. They retain hair like their pre-evolved form, which most often comes in various shades of black and white, giving them a monochromatic appearance. At the top of their foreheads the breed also gains horns that come in a variety of shapes and sizes. At their most human, the breed stands generally between 1.5 and 1.9 meters (5-6 feet) tall. In this form they are generally rather muscular but the degree of musculature varies between individuals. While some are simply athletic, others have bodies like that of a bodybuilder. Around their elbows and knees their scales harden and thicken greatly, ending in sharp claw like nails on their hands and feet. Additionally, while in their bipedal form, a good portion of these Pokégirls have a prehensile tail that is generally around 1 to 1.5 meters (3-5 feet) in length and around as thick as their forearms at the base, tapering off to a point.

As a whole, domestic born and evolved Wurmiras tend to be most comfortable in their hybrid snake form. It is unknown why this is but it is thought to be due to the balance this form provides between the ability to use their human-like hands and the unique blend of offense and defense given to them by their large serpentine bodies. One of the first changes often noticed is that their bodies often slim down greatly, becoming lither and sleeker, losing most of their extra muscle mass. While they are decidedly not very human-like in appearance, their faces stay human shaped and lack any kind of noticeable muzzle. In this form they have long serpentine lower bodies, similar to their previous forms, which start just under their vagina. While similar in appearance to that of a human's, it is completely forward facing and in the area of a human woman's mons pubis. The breed often averages out at a length of 6 to 8m (19-26 feet), from the top of their heads to the end of their tails. Some members of the breed have rows of spikes and horns that go all the way down their serpentine backs. Wurmiras with these spikes are sometimes referred to as either Gusana or Gusanita in some regions. This is most likely due to the confusion caused by crackpot researchers in the sunshine league during the decades following the war that claimed to have discovered some kind of giant, mutant worm capable of swimming through ground using spikey protrusions along their sides. Most never paid much attention to these rumors but after the discovery of the breed this nickname seemed to have stuck in some parts of the world.

In their inhumanoid form, Wurmiras are a sight to behold. Their arms meld into their sides as their faces become draconic in nature, losing all vestiges of humanity. When the transformation is complete, similar to the Gynadose breed, the transformed Pokégirl resembles a sea-serpent capable of swimming though the rocks and ground. In addition to this, their horns grow out further and generally curve out behind their heads. Despite these changes the breed averages out at about the same length, growing no more than a half a meter at most. In this form the breed is no stronger or more durable than in their taming form. Because of this, most members of the breed prefer to stay in their hybrid form for everything except when they are digging.

The breed is most often seen in the harems of tradesmen specializing in construction. While primarily carnivores, they require a high mineral diet, typically rocks and dirt. The breed is typically used to tunnel though the hard earth and excavate large underground areas. Using their inherent fire abilities that they retain from when they were a Pyrothon, they can tunnel their way through the earth, melting the rock around them, reducing it to molten lava. Using their geokinesis abilities they can shape this molten rock into any shape needed. Many Wurmiras are quite skilled in their ability to reheat and shape the earth into complex shapes and patterns as needed. With the help of their ability to see in darkest places, including magically created darkness, they are able to work deep within the earth without the need of powered light sources.

Wurmiras generally dislike combat. Those that are found in the harems of wandering tamers generally try to fight defensively rather than offensively. Utilizing their high durability and large bodies they generally try to outlast their opponents. Using techniques like harden and Unmovable, most try to protect themselves and bolster their own powerful defenses. When their opponent finally tires out most like to finish the fight quickly with their stronger fire type attacks. With the help of healing and defensive techniques such as cocoon of darkness and dark shield, their typical defensive style of fighting tends to do well against those elements they are strong against and poorly against those that they are weak against.

They are often less territorial than their pre-evolved form, becoming more tolerant of others in their lives. Some still prefer one-on-one tamings but they are generally less bad-tempered about the subject. While primarily nocturnal, with training, they can generally be taught to live a more diurnal lifestyle. They generally as a breed dislike bright lights, especially direct sunlight. Most Diurnal Wurmira tend to wear dark sunglasses or hoods, particularly those that haven't learned the dark goggles technique. The breed, like their pre-evolved form, is generally bisexual with no preference for either sex over the other. Taming preferences tend to vary but many tend to like to be on top then taming. Many Wurmira also tend to enjoy full body contact before and during the act. While generally safe, those tamers with the spiked variety should be wary of allowing their Pokégirl to coil around them as accidents have happened. Another common fetish is a great love of kissing and oral contact. Oral sex, regardless of the sex of their tamer, is an act most tend to enjoy greatly.

Ferals are rarely directly seen as most live deep underground in dens that they create themselves. There have been reports of tamers of being grabbed and taken underground by strange worm or serpentine Pokégirls. Dens of feral Wurmiras have been found throughout the years. One common element is that these Pokégirls have a tendency to trap their prey in makeshift prisons that they shape themselves out of molten rock. If found in their inhumanoid form, it is recommended to use water type abilities against these pokegirls, as water weakens these their incredible defenses and, when feral, forces them to revert into their hybrid form. Threshold directly into a Wurmira is rare; it is much more common to have girls become Pyrothons instead. The first sign of threshold is similar to the eating disorder pica, causing an intense desire to eat dirt and rocks. Within the first week, thresholders are usually terrified as their human skin is sloughed off in large sheets. Leaving their entire bodies covered in fine snake-like scales that had grown in underneath. Within the next couple of weeks their legs begin to fuse together and elongate, leaving them with a fully developed tail in the place of their legs. It is only after threshold is complete that they are capable of using their metamorphic capabilities.
