The most notorious breed of an infamous line, the Mistress stands as the second most capable battler of the Domina family and for far less investment than that of the DragonQueen. It’s commonly accepted that the Mistress could be a premier breed for tamers if not for a poor public opinion of them; due to their overly sensationalized reputation, high intensity dispositions, and peculiar outlook that is almost universal among specimen of the breed.

While the Mistress is a very near human breed that doesn’t stray from any of the elements commonly found in the Domina or Dominatrix, there are nearly imperceptible differences they take upon evolving that set them apart. Facial features become just a little sharper, stature becomes slightly more imposing, and their subconscious body language takes a shift towards sending out more aggression, dominance, and confidence. Those with Dark Elf lineage undergo such changes as well while retaining the dark skin and pointed ears that are the hallmark of that line. Mistresses, like Domina and Dominatrix, still sport their love of fetish wear proudly, though very few go through the effort to craft it themselves anymore. They also have a tendency to add in spikes, buckles, links, studs, and even at times thin contour hugging plates to the ensemble; just about anything that serves to acknowledge their added steel type and aggressive natures. There is a small but significant population that, instead of dressing as they had before evolving, takes to wearing nothing but chains draped across their bodies. This form of exhibitionism may also crop up in the more normal specimen from time to time during flights of fancy.

Mistresses take the line’s love of BDSM and turn it into a lifestyle. There are even studies supporting the claim that they need to experience the dynamics of such alternative lifestyles for the sake of their mental health. This plays into the reason for why the breed has such a bad reputation. Their entire perception revolves around their experiences with BDSM. Given some effort and learning on the part of the tamer and they will have a pokegirl as well behaved as any other breed, she merely needs be informed who is playing what role, and who isn’t playing at all. But if they’re handled poorly, their interactions with others turn out poorly. If mistreated, they begin to mistreat others. If neglected, they will try more and more fervently to take charge so they can get what they need. Tragically, many criminal organizations prey on this unique disposition and cultivate their Mistresses into malicious and abusive fiends to set loose on victims of torture or unruly henchmen.

Unlike the Domina and Dominatrix, the Mistress does not favor the whip in combat. The breed’s weapon of choice comes in the form of lengths of chain that they are so adept in manipulating it was theorized early on that they possessed some sort of magical or telekinetic control over their implements. Many Mistresses have a peculiar love for their chains, collecting as many varying segments as they can imagine situations would call for, with weights, blades, spikes and many other additions. It isn’t a surprise to anyone to see how vicious the breed can become in battle as their sadism isn’t limited to taming. What does surprise many of the opponents of the breed is that their masochism comes into play during combat as well. Mistresses process sensations of pain differently than humans or other breeds, having to rely more on the context of the situation to know if they’re in danger or not. While fighting they are not fazed by any hits they may take. Many often react with fluttering giggles or peels of laughter even, reveling in the arousal of an adrenaline high. While an inattentive Mistress may be slightly more prone to accidental injury because of this, their durability mitigates this risk, and also mitigates much of the damage they sustain during their passion for combat.

Taming is actually a great time for the tamer to assert control over the breed, as their love of BDSM means they will endure domination, discipline, and even humiliation with a smile so long as their tamer does it well. This goes on to cement the tamer’s place above her in the hierarchy within the Mistress’ mind and facilitates easier management of the breed in areas outside the taming room; contributing to the prevention of her becoming unhinged and a threat.

A Mistress almost always proves to be a volatile element to add to a harem initially. They most often learn what lines not to cross by brazenly overstepping them and nearly always consider themselves better qualified for positions of leadership than whatever may currently hold the title. However, there is an almost surefire way to prevent undo friction within the harem, even if a tamer hasn’t solidified his or her grasp upon the Mistress’ reigns.

A surprisingly effective way to keep a Mistress grounded in safety and sanity is to grant her a submissive partner that she is responsible for. Often times a non-combatant breed or cheap acquisition, the Mistress will become very possessive but also extremely engrossed in the wellbeing of their ‘sub,’ which in turn improves all other aspects of their socialization. A Mistress will not deny her submissive to her tamer, in fact many greatly enjoy sharing their ‘toy’ with her master, but they will object to anyone else, be they in the harem or not, using or even times approaching what is ‘hers’. It is also highly unwise to trade off, sell, or otherwise separate a Mistress and her submissive partner.

A preview of the terror that a degenerate Mistress brings is found in their feral behavior. They never back down from a confrontation and often start conflicts for the thrill of it. They retain some semblance of intelligence but they are so high strung and aggressive it is difficult to claim they experience a reduced feral state.

As should be expected, Mistress pokewomen more often give birth to their base breeds than Mistress pokekits. The same is true for threshold results among human females born from the breed.
