Though the Nymph is useful for attracting and wearing down feral pokegirls through the use of sex, some desire more support capabilities on top of that. The Naiad is just such a 'girl. Sukebe used the breed to distract foes and keep them pinned down while the wounded were evacuated from the battle. From there, the Naiad could swim away once a stronger pokegirl has appeared. This has also allowed them to survive on their own after the war.

On land, the Naiad can pass as a human, usually with blond hair but blues and greens are also seen. Their bodies are sleek, with the only hair being on their head and their chests rarely grow beyond a B-cup to keep them streamlined when swimming through the water. But this is merely their human form, as all Naiads can choose to morph their body and take on a Near Human appearance. The Naiad's ears appear like fins, the fingers and toes grow webbing, while the fingers are also tipped in sharp claws. Their skin takes on a scale-like appearance with color patterns usually found in various fish, with blues and greens, blacks and whites being most common.

Even if they don't need as much sex as they did as a Nymph, most Naiads would gleefully accept it when offered by a kind person or pokegirl. They have a love for being helpful and taking care of things or people, and sex is one way where they get extra benefits. If allowed, some Naiads have been known to grow plants, but that doesn't mean they all have a green thumb. Fortunately, they are not above asking for help or doing a bit of research if they can find it. Because of their desire to help, they can do well with the various Elf breeds, especially Wet Elves. This allows them to be great Betas, but poor Alphas, as they prefer to have someone to assist and give them direction. They also like working on beaches, keeping them clean and helping people to learn how to swim. Naiads treat water with a level of respect, especially the open ocean, for its dual nature of being calm and pristine to becoming harsh and unpredictable, a bit like them in a way.

Although many off their attacks are based around distracting enemies and supporting allies, they can hold her own in a fight through the use of song magic, which grants them command over local water. Naiads will use the water to bind their foes while they pull their friends to safety and shield them. But when they don't have anyone to protect, they can unleash the full force of the water at their command to deal a lot of damage, though some smart ones can use a kiddy pool's worth of water effectively. Unfortunately, their use of song magic to control water can be countered by magical silence. The song is key to controlling the water and will fall apart if it passes into an area that has a spell of silence cast on it. Without their ability to control water, their abilities are rather limited to a few attacks and their claws. Electrical attacks are the bane of the Naiad

In sex battles, they are willing to learn anything they can to make the experience something to remember. Their preference here is the same in regular battles, to distract the enemy and bind them. But they will need a source of water around, or else they will need to bring a container of water with them into the battle. Though restrictions on what they can bring in could limit their abilities if they can't find any water.

Taming one is usually as easy as asking them. But many hold a secret interest for walking along a quiet beach, especially when the moon is out. This has been known to make many Naiads wet in more ways than one. They especially love to skinny dip, especially when their tamer comes in with them. Their increased lung capacity allows them to go down on their partner for extended periods of time, above or below the surface. It is rare for a person to drown when in the embrace of a Naiad who likes them.

Ferals usually prefer to stay close to each other in groups of five to twenty for safety and company. If they are in an area devoid of other Naiads, they will partner up with other water types, usually Wet Elves, though one was known to follow a hard-to-find Feeblass, much to her annoyance. They are peaceful pokegirls who avoid trouble when they can and are very jittery around strange people and pokegirls who look threatening. But that hasn't stopped them from being curious towards things that aren't immediately thought to be a threat. Some have been known to be helpful to fishermen who toss them fruit when they get a good catch. They love to swim around boats at night and their eyes almost seem to glow when a flashlight is pointed at them, though they won't stick around long if they think they've been spotted. Their ability to see in the dark allows them to view things above and below the surface without much trouble though they will avoid the deeper depths where there is no light. Some sailors owe their lives to a Naiad who saved them from a sinking ship, only to have the pokegirl swim away after getting a taming from them. Some who are recognized by a Naiad can sometimes get one to come on land just by holding out fresh fruit. Covering it in Lust Dust is a great way to land a new pokegirl, but they will flee if they sense any trouble.

Thresholders have to suffer with a skin condition that quickly dries out her body, so they have to drink more water and keep their skin wet. They need to stay moist or else their skin will begin to peel off and leave the girl open to infection. Keeping them submerged in water will speed up the process, which will take over a month normally while the new scales grow in. The process can take up to a week when left in fresh water to a few days when left in salt water. The process is complete once they can switch from their alternate form back into their human form. Once the process is complete, the new Naiad is left in need of a good taming. Most will turn into Nymphs, but those who live near open water have a better chance of becoming a Naiad instead.
