Like many ground type pokegirls, many humans never saw an Electressica when they attacked, but the evidence was clearly there. Often, during the Revenge War, the first sign this breed was attacking was when insulation started burning, radios and computers started to spit flame and sparks. In modern times, the Electressica is used alongside other pokegirls for power generation, but also in research and development to make test the electromagnetic pulse resistance of devices such as appliances, pokeballs, and pokedexes.

Typically shorter than the average human woman, these armored pokegirls stand between 4' 10'' (1.47 meters) and 5' 8'' (1.75 meters) with clawed hands, two backwards sweeping horns, and a tail around three quarters of their height. Most of the pokegirl is covered in scales of varying hardness and size, with the largest and most armored located dorsally. Coloration varies towards yellows and other light earth tones, with lighter scaled skin on their ventral side, though electric colors have also been recorded. The breed is almost hairless, with human typical eyelashes and short spiky hair atop their heads being the only noticeable hair. Anthromorphic individuals gain slight muzzlation, with some slight differences to skin and claws, such as more prominent scaling.

Individuals who battle frequently often have a polished look to their scales, due to the rapid rotations the breed does while underground. This can be up to the point of reflecting light, and experienced individuals can use this to blind opponents. Electressica effortlessly seem to swim through the earth without leaving much trace behind, though this is due to their geokinesis capabilities used in conjunction with their own digging abilities. Indeed, like most digging pokegirls capable of such, the ability to move the soil at will allows them to keep an air pocket around their heads at all times. Creating caverns to act as pitfalls is a favored ambush tactic, though above ground the breed can utilize their speed as well as other speedy techniques in hit and run or distance fighting styles.

The breed is famous for their use of Zapring to cause Electromagnetic pulses, or EMPs, by way of spinning rapidly underground and acting like a natural generator. This use of Zapring during battles creates an effect of a Thunder Wave centered on the Electressica with a range of about 50 feet in a sphere. Indeed, rotating is the only way the breed can produce their Zapring, as their electric abilities are unable to produce projectile attacks otherwise. It is this generation ability that has the breed used in electronics product testing, as the breed is capable of producing variations in their electric fields through speed and/or voltage alteration. Most pokedexes that are cleared for electric attack resistance have been vetted by an Electressica.

Harem dynamics tend to vary, the breed are noted to be rather gregarious towards other reptilian pokegirls, especially others of their own breed. Positions within the harem tend to vary by individual, much like taming preferences. Electressica have no major issues as far as taming, as the breed is of normal human temperature and needs no special restraints or lubrication.

Ferals tend rarely actively hunt, preferring to burrow for food or create pitfalls to injure or kill unwary prey. Most mineral requirements are obtained by ingesting various soils and sands, as the breed cannot chew or digest forged metals like some steel types. These lizard pokegirls are very gregarious as ferals, forming large groups of parthogenic sisters, mothers, aunts, and daughters. Because of their ability to escape into the ground in an instant, Electressica are sometimes more difficult to capture than teleport capable pokegirls. Compounding this difficulty, the breed tend to avoid conflict, running or burrowing away at the first sign of trouble. If cornered, the breed will electrify their bodies to call in their lounge to help fight off their would-be captors. Ice, Plant, or Dragon types are recommended for those looking to capture the breed.

Threshold directly into an Electressica happens infrequently. Severe dermatitis is the first symptom, body spasms due to random electric current production, and occasional seizures. The danger of seizure or body spasms is mitigated by grounding, which occasionally happens by destroying fragile electronics. Typical threshold lasts around two weeks, with the longer times for more anthromorphic individuals.
